Dan yawned as he Wiped the sweat from his forehead as his air ship began it's decent to Luluhawa island. Dan was very familiar with the location as it was a favorite of his to vacation on whenever he got the free time. Today however was not one of those free days sadly as word of a large sea creature causing havoc for the locals had reached his ears. Dan having heard this disturbing news immediately turned his ship around and began his journey to do his best to help out. As his ship landed in the harbor Dan quickly dropped the anchor and walked off his vessel and headed towards the one location that he knew he would have the best chance of finding information, the bar. Dan knew that bars and clubs were the best locations to get information on just about anything you could need as the saying goes 'Loose lips sink ships'.

Dan smiled when he walked into the bar just as the band started a new song and the people all began to sing and drink in merry camaraderie. Dan quickly walked over to the bar and flagged down the barman and ordered a beer before looking around to try to spot any fisherman that may be able to inform Dan of what he was dealing with. As he continued to look he spotted a table near the back that seemed to be populated by men he saw working on the dock during his last trip to the island. So with that in mind Dan stood and grabbed his drink before walking over. As he sat he smiled in greeting "Evening gentlemen I hope you don't mind if I bother you for a moment I have some questions if you feeling up to chatting?" Dan asked politely as the men looked at each other before nodding.

Dan smiled disarmingly as he toasted the men with a laugh "much appreciated my good men." Dan quickly got serious as he knew this wasn't a topic to joke about "I had some questions about a creature that's been terrorizing the coast lately." At the mention of the creature all the men simultaneously scrunched their faces and spat on the floor in unison. "May the gods curse that blasted beast to the depths most deep." One of the men said as all the others murmured in agreement with each other. "Is there anything you can tell me about the creature that might be useful?" Dan asked as the men looked at each other before shaking their heads "Hardly anyone has seen the beast and been able to return to speak of it afterwards." Dan shook his head in disappointment as he stood to leave he heard a voice near the table speak "I can tell you about it."

Dan quickly turned towards the voice to see an older man sitting in the corner nursing a tankard of what looked like rum. "You can?" Dan asked as he sat down and places his drink on the table in front of him. "I can I saw the beast a week ago when it attacked the boat of a buddy of mine and demolished it and everybody on board." The man said before taking another large gulp of his drink as Dan grimaced as the fate of the man's friend was fairly clear. "The beast was about half the size of my friends boat not especially large but it was fast and did this spin that caused a huge wave to crash into the boat and capsize it where it then did exactly what your imagining." The man said as he looked into his drink as Dan shook his head. "Tell you what you take me out tomorrow and I'll deal with this monster and split any profits down the middle with your crew."

Dan watched as the man took a moment to consider his words before nodding with a scowl "I can agree to that as long as you swear you'll kill the monster." Dan noded his head and shook the man's hand before agreeing to meet the man early in the morning so the captain had time to sober up for the trip. After leaving the bar Dan returned to his ship to rest for his early morning. Dan woke up the next morning just before dawn and gathered his supplies and began his walk towards where the captain informed him the ship would be located. Dan was mildly impressed with the size of the vessel as it was almost double the size of his air ship. Quickly jumping on board he was pointed towards the captains room. As he walked in he saw the captain putting away a photo and turning towards Dan with a determined face.

Dan watched as wave after wave crashed into the side of the boat as they traveled towards where the creature was last rumored to be spotted. Dan took in a deep breath and inhaled the salty sea air as he watched the water for any disturbances. As Dan continued to watch he finally saw something large moving through the water just ahead of them "HOLD!" Dan shouted towards the captain who was driving the boat from the upper deck. Dan kept his eye on the creature as they slowed down. Turning slightly he shouted to the captain "KEEP THIS BOAT MOVING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN I CAN'T DODGE TO WELL OUT HERE SO I NEED YOU TO KEEP ME OUT OF IT'S RANGE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!" The captain noded as Dan claps his hands together creating a mixed yellow and purple magic circle 2 Meter in Diameter to appear beneath his feet. When Dan separates his hands a chain of lightning formed between his palms as they widen before taking the shape of a 2 meters long spear. Dan quickly lifted the spear and chucked it towards the beast.

Dan watched as the spear of lightning crashed into the sea creating a large black flash as it connected with the large shape just beneath the water. An almost uncomfortable calm seems to settle as Dan and the crew wait until suddenly a large shape jumps from the water and sails over the ship. Dan could only shudder slightly as the creature soared through the air and back into the sea with a loud roar. Though still smaller then the large ship the creature was definitely still large enough to cause damage with a direct hit so Dan knew he still had to be careful. Dan watched as the creature jumped once more over the ship just barely missing it as the captain was able to quickly turn the ship to the side just enough for the beast to miss it's mast. Dan shook his head and began to watch for where the beast would come from next.

Dan continued his silent vigil until he noticed the water to the ships port side becoming disturbed. Knowing this must the beast preparing to jump he quickly claps his hands together creating another mixed yellow and purple magic circle 2 Meter in Diameter underneath his feet. When Dan separates his hands a chain of lightning formed between his palms as they widen before taking the shape of a 2 meters long spear. Dan waited until the beast once more became air born before releasing his spear "EAT THIS YOU OVERGROWN SUSHI ROLL." Dan shouted as the spear impacted the creatures left eye causing it to shout out in pain before falling back into the water. Dan continued to watch for a few moments before he exhaled "Well I think we got it." Dan said before the universe decided to prove him wrong as something heavy hit the side of the boat almost causing it to capsize.

Dan took a step back as the ship lurched to the side as the weight of the beast bore down on the unsuspecting crew. Knowing that if he delayed much longer the creature might actually be able to cause the ship to capsize Dan took a deep breath and shook his head in annoyance. "I really didn't want to have to use this but you have left me little choice in the matter." Dan said as he prepared his strongest spell to hopefully end this once and for all. As the creature finally launched itself out of the sea in one final attempt to destroy the boat Dan raises his hand into the air creating a large mixed yellow and purple magic circle 4 Meters In Diameter in the sky. From the circle a large fist shaped bolt of black lightning fell towards the beast like the strike on an angry God causing a large flash and boom as the attack connected.

Dan watched for a moment as silence settled over the water before a large shape began to form next to the boat. Dan carefully watched as the beasts body began to slowly emerge from the water and begin to bob in place clearly dead. A moment of silence was shared between the crew before loud shouts were heard as crew mates cheered and yelled in happiness and joy. Dan felt a weight begin to lift from his shoulders. However before he could join in the celebration a voice was heard nearby. "Well it seems you succeeded after all here I was hoping you might weaken the beast up before you died and let us swoop in to mop up the remains." Dan turned to see another sailor from the bar as his ship came within hearing distance of the ship Dan was currently standing on. Dan could only run his forehead in annoyance as yet another problem seemed to crop up.

Dan could feel a pulse behind his temples as a migraine began to set in. 'of course my luck wasn't good enough to just be able to do the job and be able to leave, nope now I have to deal with this.' Dan thought to himself as he looked at the captain of the enemy boat in annoyance. "You know what I'm feeling generous right now tell you what you boys leave and I promise not to sink your ship with all of you on it good deal?" Dan asked hoping against hope that they would agree. Dan's answer came to him as the men all began to laugh at his offer. Dan quickly stands on the front of the ship and draws Galantine before runs his hand over the blade, coating it with flame before swinging out horizontally towards the ships mast causing it to ignite the wood and sails. The laughter quickly turned to panic as everyone quickly jumped off the now burning ship.

Dan now satisfied jumped back down and dusted off his hands and quickly tossed over a few life preservers to make sure that the other crew didn't drown. "I'll inform the authorities about where you are when we get back to shore so just hang tight until then." Dan said as he watched as the crew finished securing the beast to the back of the boat and began in their short journey back to land. As they arrived Dan quickly began to disembark from the ship and inform the authorities that he had killed the creature as well as where they could find the other crew. After receiving his reward and splitting it fifty fifty and handing half to the captain of the ship like he promised Dan quickly resupplied and began his journey back to magnolia to find his next quest. As he sailed though the air he grabbed himself a drink and began to sing along with his magic band.
