A quick glance to her side brought her a wave of relief. Her guildmate Ryuuji was there. She knew about him but hadn't the time to interact with him, she wondered how he got sucked into this, but she didn't wonder too long as him just being there was enough for her. Her two usual companions, Amon and Ashna, weren’t with her this time, and though she missed them, she was grateful not to be completely alone. A gentle warmth hummed beneath her skin, radiating from the marks on her cheeks. Her father, the god Set, was watching over her, his silent strength running through her veins, a quiet reminder to walk without fear. She smiled softly, feeling his warmth, a comforting anchor in this place of cold and shadows.
The hall stretched out before them, endless rows of towering stone pillars etched with strange, ancient runes. The walls were lined with old, broken shields and rusted weapons, most likely from battles long past, now frozen in time. Strange symbols scratched deep into the ice seemed to follow her gaze, their meanings lost on her, but whispering of forgotten gods and restless spirits. Each breath fogged and frosted in front her, disappearing into the oppressive silence. The weight of that silence pressed down on her, thick and heavy. Somewhere beyond her sight, buried deep in the shadows, she sensed the presence of the draguar, a creature bound to this place, forced into eternal sleep. The relic they were looking for was the only thing holding its fury in check. Without it, the beast would wake, and even her father’s divine influence might not shield her from its wrath.
Nahla moved forward, her boots crunching softly against the icy floor, the sound echoing almost unnaturally in the stillness. She looked over to her guildmate hoping he kept pace beside her. " Hopefully we find this relic sooner rather than later. It's so creepy in here, and this cold is making it unbearable. I hate the cold..." Any noise felt out of place, almost like the walls themselves were listening. " I don't think we should split up.. But it would probably be faster finding the relic if we did right? What do you think? " Her words were soft, a whisper as if she were trying to lessen the noise she made, as if she was trying not to awaken the creature they needed to appease, or any creature for that matter.
