Story: Following her sacrifice to the Fractured Sky in the summer of X795, Atani fused with the goddess Yuan. While this resulted in her acquiring rare and powerful magic, she-- in the process-- lost much of the strength she once had in addition to her control. Deeming it unsafe to continue operations in this manner, she requested a leave of absence from the Rune Knights, devoting much of her time to training instead of being on active duty.

She was referred to Amaforth Academy where she would be able to learn from experienced mages and focus on honing her healing abilities. There, she uncovered knowledge regarding a tribe of northern elves uniquely skilled in the mystic arts. Wishful and intrigued, she set out on a quest to learn their ways in hopes it would improve her magic.
