Drakkon, Hai, and Carmina had done a lot of jobs for Herman and they had been successful. It seemed like with everything they had done for him, things were getting serious. When they were asked to see him, he wondered what job they would do next. When he was given the details about what they were going to do next, Drakkon had a smirk on his face. This was going to be fun and he couldn’t wait to see chaos unleashed.

The group were heading to Kahu Rock as it seemed like there was a ceremony happening and it was their job to stop it and beat up everybody.

“Well, this is going to be fun. I can wait.” He said to the other two.

When they approached the area though they would see that the place was guarding and they were ready for anything. He knew this was going to be chaotic, but that was the point.

“It seems they were expecting people to interfere with their ceremony.” He said as he noticed the massive number of people waiting for them on the trail to Kahu Rock.

Carmina having gotten this info whistled and Rey had come to help her as well as she wanted back up from her companion that had saved her in his own way and she was ready for a fight as the man seemed to think that this was something that she could do and helping her master was part of what she needed to be able to do though she knows that she and her companion were probably not something that these island dwellers would expect as she thinks that maybe she had become a god in her own right and that was something that she needed to see if they could understand that she was not going to back down from this as there was a tone of things that she needed to prove to herself and to Drakkon and this was one step to make sure that she was not dropped as the man's current apprentice and she was learning all the she could as there was a lot that she needed to get worked on.

Rey roared loudly and he could see the fear that he had put into the islanders that were going to be blocking their path and Rey was ready to unleash a spell and move all of them off the path so that Carmina and her master could get through it and try to interrupt what ever was going on here and that would be what he could do to help his chosen Carmina. Rey might not fully agree with the path she took he knows that her heart is still pure even if she was on a bad path in a bad place he was not going to let her suffer alone or be abandoned by him and Rey took a deep breath and then released a blast of wind magic that went up the trail toward the warriors that had called the path their last stand against Carmina and Drakkon.

The wind if it hit would knock back the group of fighters that were waiting to attack them. Carmina was preparing her spells and making them arcane as she didn't want to risk harming the area to much as she was sure their boss would be very unhappy with them if they were to do damage to the area and ruin some of the value of the land that he wanted and that was something she had to be careful of as she was not like someone that could fix it even if she had wanted to do it. She was going to keep pushing herself every day to get stronger and this would help her to learn restraint and not end up over doing it and ruining it for her master and those that are holding to them getting this job done and not causing to much damage as she was not scared of the people that were getting into their way as she knew that she was just doing a job but she knew that she needed to do this and stay on her masters good side and just not let her own feelings get in the way.

Drakkon had noticed that Carmina and her Dragon-like companion had made their move. They didn’t seem to hold back on this and they started attacking even before him. he had a smirk on his face as he was okay with this and he watched as certain people were hit by the attack from the sky followed by Carmina’s attack.

This was perfect, due to the fact that there were a lot of people here. Their numbers were huge, and there were only four of them and it was about to be three.

“Hai let’s go. I’m sure this is just the start of things.” He said to his Son.

Hai would roar as Rey had done before but for a different reason. He would merge with Drakkon, giving him a new appearance and instead of rushing he pulled out Enma, and the katana had unleashed an ability that would effect the people that were in front of them.

Their path had been temporarily opened due to Rey’s attack, but that didn’t last long as they were regaining their composure.

Carmina spun the staff on her hand as she casted more spells and her dragon like companion soared over head with her and rained down lightning on a group of the people that were in the way of the woman's master paralyzing them. He was excited that his mistress was finally letting him let loose again as she had side lined him since he got hurt in the fight with the titans and this was just what he needed to do to make sure that he got to show off as he needed to make an impact. Carmina was letting loose arcane spells that were splitting up. Carmina was controlling the pieces that spread off and she smiled as it felt so much more free to be flying on Rey's back and letting him make sure that she got to her target with the spells. She wondered if there was something wrong with her, as she was enjoying this but with how she was raised this shouldn't be what she was doing but clearly she had been having fun and just sending out attacks like she belonged here doing these things but she wasn't going to dwell on it, she sees a weird light coming from a bit ahead of them.

"Master someone is doing something up ahead I see lights from between the trees. They might be summoning another of those spirits that we fought before." She was not sure if that is what was happening but she was just saying the closest thing that she could think of and that was like the tree spirit that showed up and was fighting with them so she was going to have to say it cause she was not sure what kind of spirit that they might be trying to summon to come and fight them or blessing from the island and she needed to aim for it and hope she hits and she lets off a strong spell in that way but she can already see that the grunts on the ground were not going to make it that easy and she was going to keep trying as she is tired and feeling her mana draining a bit from the big ticket spells that she was casting and she wondered if they were going to be able to handle what might come their way and that was all she could hope but she had a nagging fear that was coming at her pretty much all at once.

Drakkon was about to move forward and attack some of the people here, but he looked over to Carmina. She had spoken to him and it seemed like there was something that had caught her eye. He nodded as he decided it was worth the check. It also showed her that he valued her words even if he wasn’t scared of what was to come. He soared through the sky as he saw that they were doing their best to take out the warriors that they were facing. He made his way to the duo that was preparing something. He wasn’t sure what they were doing, but he had interrupted them.

He was in front of them both and he cut them down with his katanas without hesitation. The blood that came out from them was beautiful and their scream was even better. Now that he was done here, he flew into the sky and toward the group once again. There were a few of them that had been taken out by Carmina with a few still standing.

“I took them out without a problem.” They said to Carmina from the sky.

Carmina was not going to sit around and just fail she needed to get back to the fighting as well and she tapped her foot on the side of Rey she wanted to go and she was looking for others that might be in the forest and she released spells as Rey before had caused the group to be spread and she was not going to waste her time and let anything happen to herself as she needed to be the one that helped her master even if she might end up replaced later on with some other better and stronger member of their guild but she needed to make sure that she kept her head out of the dumps at lest for now as she was needed by her master to keep her head on her shoulders and she needed to make sure that her spells didn't do too much damage to the surrounding area as their boss will be displeased if his new area claim is damaged.

Rey took her closer to the ground and she hopped off and started to use the staff she was holding as a weapon and she needed to make sure that she kept fighting and casting as if she stopped then she wouldn't be able to catch back up again if the master needed her if she was holding back too much the people that came to stop them might over power her and she wasn't going to allow that as she needed to come out on top and make sure that she kept in the good graces of the master that was believing in her and gave her a chance even if she was left masterless and alone and she wondered if there was a reason he ended up picking her to take under his wing but she guessed that maybe he really didn't have a choice as she hadn't seen many members outside of the master and the half elf woman that seemed to have vanished on her.

She made her spells the elements of wind, water and earth that way when she casts them they turn to a simple gust, soaked earth, and just some random rocks and would not cause too much harm if they did any at all. She tossed more spells at weaker strengths as she needed to make sure that she didn't over do it and end up with her own master yelling at her for over doing and that was just what she needed to learn to better control this power than let it keep controlling her and making her live in fear of it and what it can do but she needed to make sure that what ever was going to come from that area in the forest that she was going to handle it with grace and power if she can or be able to run away if it all falls apart to regroup with her master to plan and see if they can take it on or leave their boss to the wrath of what ever it is.

Drakkon noticed that she was focused on getting things done here. That was good and he could see that she was pushing herself and making sure that things went smoothly. There were only a few of them left here, which was a good thing for them. The beginning had a lot of people, so taking all of them out would leave less for later.

Drakkon had swooped down into the middle of the group as they looked at him. Their attention turned to him. It was then he had ignited a spell that would erupt around him and shoot into the air. This spell hit the group of fighters that were left and took them out. Of course, he made sure not to hit Carmina as that would have been stupid of him if he did.

“We should be able to move forward once you finish up there.” He said to Carmina.

Once she finished, he started walking toward their destination and possibly would get into more fights as well.

She had heard her master when he spoke about them needing to move forward once she was done and she smiled hearing him say that to her. "Yeah that soun--" Before she could finish saying what she was going to say she felt a major amount of mana flowing out from up ahead of them. "Master something is wrong we need to move now!" She let loose to strong and fast spells that delt with the last as she started to run as fast as she could up the path toward where the woman was as she could see the glowing getting far more intense from the place she had seen it coming from before which means what ever was going on was about to bare fruit and they were probably not going to make it in time to stop what ever it was that was going to take form and come at them more than likely.

"Sorry master this was my fault I was too slow, if I had been more focused on just finishing them fast and hard instead of holding back to spare the area we would already have been there and stopped what ever they were doing." She was fully taking the blame for what ever was about to happen even if she was not the cause of the issue and was probably just a step in that. She needed to make this up to her master as soon as she could after this and she had no idea of where or how she would do it but she knows that she needed to make sure that she didn't leave this go unpaid back for or she might end up in a worst place that she already was at which she guessed was not hard as she was always pulling her master down and slowing him down but she needed to make sure to keep up with him somehow.

As they got closer to the light it was clear that the woman that was there was calling upon a power to help her fellow islanders to stop the boss from getting this spot with the last of the power that the island spirits might had for them to go up against though she knows her master will not go down easily but that was only a guess she had as she was not sure the power that was about to come out of the woman in front of them or what the power might be able to do, she was only hoping it was a small buff but was that all the the spirits could do and make for them? She doubted it but the island had been, being attacked and defamed so maybe it had weakened.

When they arrived at the location it seemed like things were unfolding. The people that were ready to stop Carmina, and Drakkon had been waiting for them with a bit of extra within them. He could feel them stronger, and he cracked his neck as if this was going to be annoying. Still, the plan was the same and it wasn’t going to change. They were going to take these guys out even if it became harder for them.

He looked around and counted eleven fighters right now. Those others were just a distraction and only wasting their time for all of this to happen.

“It’s not your fault. We just continue doing what we were currently doing.” He said this as he stepped forward.

When he did his wings flapped and he got close to one of the warriors. He swung his blade down one of them. It hurt the man, but he didn’t fall as he tried to return an attack to Drakkon. The devourer dodged that attack, moving into the sky and then diving and piercing him on his head and killing the warrior.

Carmina nodded to what the man said and she pointed her staff and she unleashed a spell that she aimed so she wouldn't get her master in the cross fire and when it activated a dragons roar rang out and a blast of light magic bursted down from the sky and hit in an area below it and she was surprised it worked. She hoped that her master didn't mind but she had to also make a move here and hope that, that was enough but the people she hit hadn't fallen but they were badly hurt what ever was powering them up seemed to have given them a very strong power as they hadn't even seemed to have bent a knee to the crashing of that light magic attack that she had seemed to have released from a dragon in a portal from above that had closed and she wondered if that was a real dragon or a mana form of it in spell form she would need to look closer at the spell and see what she can do.

Drakkon had looked at the people who were left and had a smirk on his face. They wanted to get their ass beat, so he would give them that. A bunch of clouds would start gathering together above the group of people waiting to fight them, and the clouds had gotten so thick that it felt like nighttime had appeared. It was then that lightning would strike down on those that were remaining and damage them quite a bit. They stumbled back from the attack, but it was not enough to finish them off.

Of course, he wasn’t done just yet. No, he had activated the power behind Enma and it would harm the same people once again. This was enough to take full effect on them. Carmina would be able to beat them all up. When they saw everything that he had done, three of them rushed to attack him. He would swing his blade with ease and they would fall. He had weakened them with his two powerful spells, but he would now focus on the strongest one of them all.

Carmina sent attacks at the others that were still standing and she wondered if she was able to really stand up to these kinds of people and she needed to make sure that she didn't slack on her training as she went as there was still a ton of spells that she needed to see and learn and make the most of the spells that she was going to learn and she needed to learn to tear the spells apart and leave them bare to be able to change and remake how ever she wanted to make them and she would let loose a few more spells that took the element of nature to weaken what she thinks is light element enhancements to them and she was not holding back as much as she had been as she wanted to end this and make sure that it leaves a mark on the idiots that had stepped out to fight them and she waited after she struck down her last target to allow her master to end the fight with them and get it done and then she would follow him back to the boss that wanted this place for himself.

Drakkon had looked at the strongest person that was against him. he had a smirk on his face and he was going to make this quick. He had used his strongest spells already, well that was not true. He would use Yamato’s power, but when he got closer. He closed the distance between the two of them and he swung his blade. The man dodged the attack, which was what he expected. It was then that he would activate Yamato’s spell and he would cover the immediate area, and he cut the man down with ease. The people who were surprised about this panicked and ran away from the area.

It was then Carmina, Rey, Hai and Drakkon were the only ones around. Everyone had ran away or perished in their hand. It was then Herman had come to them as if he was already there watching in the distance. It was then he would he would gift them with a lot of rewards for helping him out. The group would take their stuff and be on their way to the next job.
