Kaito was once again requested to come and help them with another investigation into the underworld and that was something that he was willing to do so he and and Revy walked to a non-descript building to meet with the handlers and get the low down on the things they need him to do and find for them and Revy was making sure to take notes of the things that needed to be handled and where they were needed in case Kaito forgot like he use to do some times. Revy was happy that she could help him but she also knew that he had grown more as a person as she had been with him and he was a bit jaded in some ways and his heart is not really in a good place with Averie having disappeared on him but that was something that had to be worried on later as Kaito had already looked for her but found no trace.

They sent Kaito on his way and he changed into a set of clothes one would be seen wearing if they were a server in a restaurant. Kaito was going to be working in a restaurant that had been rented out for the night but a gang that was working on something big in the city and was meeting with other leaders to carve out a deal for pieces of the pie to this new move or if they were going to stand in there way and needed to be dealt with. Kaito had styled his hair and everything so he nearly looked like a different person as he was never one to really brush his hair or style it to look professional. He needed to make sure that he didn't tip his hand to anyone as he needed to keep on the level here, as if they find out he is a plant he is gonna end up in a fight.

He turned Revy invisible so she wouldn't be seen and she followed him in as he went into the place and helped them prep for the big night and Revy found a good place to hide and the spell ended so she was not invisible anymore she would lay in wait for what might come as she was not quite sure that this was a good plan but she had no choice at this point as she knows that Kaito was working through his feelings of abandonment. He was not sure that he should try to worry about it, right now as he gets tables set for the large number of people that were going to be coming in shortly and that was going to be game time so he needed to make sure everything was placed right and looked perfect for the guests that were going to be eating and talking shop.

As the groups started to pile in the doors Kaito was tasked with closing the window covers so outsiders can not see into the place anymore meaning prying eyes wouldn't be able to come in or see in as the shop will have it's closed sign on the door so no one walks in and gets caught up in what was going on and to lower the chances someone will walk in and then run out to rat on them. Kaito was careful and respectful using a cheery voice and asked the men and women their orders and the men looked respected as they were asked first and the woman smirked as they knew that the staff was sucking up to them as this is a huge amount of people so a good amount per head and the extra hush money to keep the staff and the owner quiet about what is going on.

Kaito went back and started saying the orders clearly and put the ticket down as he was working hard even if he was not really a server he took his jobs seriously as it only takes a small slip up and the whole thing unravels. Revy is listening in on the people taking at a few of the closer tables to her and she is writing it all down as they were saying names and places so this was going to be useful to them later to hand over but she also knows that some of these things could be false leads to bait out if someone is a snake in the grass but she knew that she had to take it all in just in case. Kaito started getting the food out to his tables carrying and showing off a little to make sure they see him right there.

The gangs are talking about a lot of things and then he heard the talk about the new deal that was being made it was a larger than normal shipment of very regulated magic weapons that would be dangerous in these peoples hands as they were looking to drive a different gang out of town that wasn't invited to this gathering of the powers in the underground. Kaito made sure to take note and ask them if they wanted more bread sticks or need any refills on their alcohol or sodas. The females at the table thanked him for asking if they needed the refills and he went and got the table refills as he was asked to do. There were very few outright fights between the factions here mostly just outrage at the others that were looking to side with the other gang. It would seem this other group in the underground her was not a group of push overs.

They in the end had all signed to protect the others if a war did start in the underground but to Kaito it sounded like it was on shaky grounds and fragile trust but he didn't speak about it but some of the woman at the tables flirted with him before leaving but he kindly let them know he was in the process of marriage so he was flattered but he was already spoken for and they giggled and remarked the woman was very lucky to have scored him and then they left and Kaito started making sure the tables were cleaned and spotless as he was still her on the job and the groups had seemed none the wiser to him having been there to gain info and Revy came out from where she was hidden and had Kaito store the evidence so no one could search them for it. He took the rest of the team that his wife had sent their family exceed to come get him so it was time for him to go home or he would be sleeping on the couch and they all laughed and said it was fine, So Kaito and Revy made their way to the group and handed over everything to get paid.
