Ittindi was surprised to see the letter at his current inn, a small bed and breakfast called the Serpents Stable, the people of Seven had such interesting habits. Ittindi found himself loving their food more than any other country so far. A small shame that he’d never admit it aloud to anyone, he had found the best food at a inn and landed himself a part time job here. Their customs for service was very foreign, but Ittindi had taken to it after his 3rd week in the country. The people were very helpful, or maybe it was his personality Ittindi didn’t find it hard to please others. The letter was transcribed from the arena indicating the public’s interest in his fight against the Young Master. If anything it’d be a good gauge of his recent improvements, though the idea of resurrecting on the arena wasn’t something Ittindi wanted to explain to the Young Master. Not to mention the destructive spell he had learned to trigger on his own passing. He’d send off an acceptance letter knowing the Young Master wouldn’t pass up such an offer.
Present
Service comes so easy for you Ittindi, when will you serve yourself? You are a perfect servant, that’s how you ended up in this situation, but how will you become the best?
Ittindi’s partner chirping at his every surface thought, he let more and more through these days. He had finally found someone who didn’t like him, the very gods themselves, none would accept his death. In his own way he had found a way past Naki’s threats as well, they had stopped though he still had the inclination towards danger. That much was obvious as he found himself walking towards the arena ready to fight his Young Master once again. His new senses tingling in anticipation, it meant that he was probably already in his room. Ittindi wouldn’t take any time registering his new gun into the arena system, as well as a couple accessories.
They’d take him to his waiting room, he hadn’t been to interested in looking into what arena they had scheduled the two into. He was sure it’d be thematic again, the crowd seemed to think there was a chance it would make the difference against the Young Master. No Ittindi knew that when he would be able to beat him, because then he’ll truly see his friend’s rage. Ittindi had confided enough after the Jikan incident that he knew he could at least unleash on Ittindi with no worries. A thought that scared him as the door opened before him into the arena.
Ittindi would pull the Punisher off his back as he walked out into the arena, today’s weather was perfect. Not overcast but just enough clouds that the sun was beating down with him alongside his lifetime friend. Ittindi’s jaw would drop as he peered out at the arena this time, the seven coordinators really knew how to sell tickets.
On the eastern most side of the arena there was a large slope upwards, at the top randomly fire pitched spheres 5 meters in radius are hurled down the slope towards Ittindi and the Young Master. What a frightful arena, he wouldn’t have much time to practice with his Punisher with how unwieldy it was. He already felt better about his chances, he had improved, the problem was so did his Young Master, Ittindi refused to be the first to plateau. His Right hand itching to pull the trigger as soon as the announcer gave the go ahead, he wouldn’t need to focus on the boulders with his new senses.
