“Ahhh, calm down, calm, wasn’t that bad, was it? We’re back to the dock, no harm done.” Ever one who was bright and also one who seemed to define the word breezy as well when it came to her attitude, Lola Lemara had been roped into the task of indulging the old gondola game as part of her effort to make good with the new guild which she found herself representing, and it seemed that despite her easy-going and excitable nature not everyone was proving fans of her effort really.
“So ya got a bit wet? Ain’t like you drowned, right? Besides, getting a gal or two… Ah, forget it.” Not one who had fallen all that much in with the idea that the route about the waters of Hargeon should be one taken slowly and sedately and instead feeling it her duty to throw some spice into the lives, be it trying to race other water craft or take to the skies through some creative oarsmanship and wind magic the bronze bunny had been certainly getting creative with how she had been running her boat today, though from the look of how a bunch of women in now soaked dresses seemed to shuffle away with grumbles and groans the market for such antics was rather niche.

“Ah hey, you up for the next round today huh?” Not that she was all that intent on giving up on her little angle and in many ways the fair haired femme feeling that she was at least providing her patrons with something to remember and tell their friends about, with one lot of would be drifters dismissed she now looked to her next not so comforting cruise, and from the worried looks of the folk which she saw before her could tell already that pickings were slim.
“Don’t be shy, ya might get a bit messy, but most think I’m worth the ride~?” Not that she minded too much and frankly felt that she would rather snatch up someone with more than just a grain or two of sand between their legs if she was honest, all that she could do was shake her head and chortle as she swept the staff-like implement which she used to propel and steer the craft over her shoulders, and found her rosy red gaze settling upon a soul who looked like they just might be made of something a bit sterner than the rest…

Kaito looks at the woman that seemed to be speaking to him and he wondered why she seemed so insistent to have him get on the boat that she was driving. Kaito had only come here to just be an on looker not a rider today and it seemed more like he was going to be pulled into the ride now cause no one is seeming to be excited to try to get into her boat after she had seemed to have given the last riders a bath and maybe a fright. "You talking to me?" He put the hood of his cloak down and he walked toward her and he looked her in the eyes his eyes. His hair stirring in the wind that was blowing over the dock his auburn hair seeming to dance in the wind. He guessed it didn't matter as the woman was holding up the line of boats behind her waiting to get people.

Kaito got onto her boat and handed the jewel cost so she was paid to start and he took his seat which seemed to dry before he had sat on the bench on the boat and he wondered what she was going to do, would she know who he was or would she be ignorant to who he was his straw hat was resting in his hood which he had made sure was tucked in the back of the collar of the cloak. "What is your name? I ask as if we are going to talk during this ride it might be beneficial to us both to know who we are." He doubted she know who he was as if she did, she probably wouldn't have called him over to her ship. He was a known figure but he knows that also seemed to just bring him trouble.

He wondered if Averie was also a victim of his fame and something had happened to her, but he was guessing she was probably just busy with work, studying the occult, or maybe she had just forgot that she needed to reply back to his messages. She was a bit airheaded sometimes but he guessed this ride might help him to clear his mind so he didn't just let himself get to worried about the what ifs that could be going on as he was sure if a rune knight had up and disappeared then someone would have alerted the light guilds that there might be a killer or something of the sort on the loose.

“Yeeeaahhh, you seem as good as anyone…” Left to watch as folk before her seemed to find their heels glued to the paving stones and so the lagomorphic lass as keen on the one among their number who had at least some measure of courage among them, Lola had to admit that when he let loose that hood she hadn’t expected to see a flash of auburn hair beneath it, though hoped that the fiery edge to such colour might just have hinted that there was plenty of heat in his character as well. How she loved guys who burned hot.
“Ain’t chickenshit like the rest of these clowns, riiiiight~?” As such welcoming or as much as she could be as he ventured over to her gondola and presented her with the fee for a ride, in truth the raucous rabbit cared little for the money she was getting and vastly preferred the feeling of the experience, and seemed to show that both in how she chucked the cash into a little pot and then how she spoke and offered an approving high five to the lad upon his entry onto the SS Badassery, or whatever she was calling her craft this round.

“Ooooof, that keen on getting to know me already, huh? Ya got good taste…” Naming aside the wonder wabbit seeming to approve of his more direct approach even if she was a bit teasing of it, the bronze bunny batted those long lashes which she had as he asked for her name playfully, and showed the rather healthy level of confidence which she had in her sense of appeal in the remark which she made about his interest. Though, from her perspective it was only natural.
“Name’s Lola, and you~?” As such letting the lad get settled within her craft and answering his question as she did so, it only seemed natural for such a request to be met in kind and so Miss Lemara returned the query as to his name, before nudging them away from their little docking spot and getting this voyage underway. Slow to start, of course, while they got settled…

Kaito was not sure what she was meaning by the statement of him having good tastes. "I don't know if I would say I have good tastes. You just seemed like you really wanted someone to take your boat and I didn't see the point in denying you if you really wanted to do the task." He was just being honest with the woman as he didn't know her but he could tell that she was bold and she wanted something and he was there and everyone else seemed far less enthused to give her what she wanted so he got on there was nothing deeper for him to read into as far as he knew but he was going to probably have to be careful as she seemed interested in more than him just riding in her boat. He looked to the woman as he heard her start to speak her name.

"Lola sounds like a good name, my name isn't as special as that, my name is Kaito." She didn't seem to know him and really it didn't bother him as he doesn't walk around with a sign saying who he is or what he has done. "So why did everyone seem so scared to riding in your boat? You got a record or something?" He figured he should ask and find out what the deal was with all of those people seeming to be scared of her like that and were waiting for her boat to leave. He figured that she was a bit too forward with her riders or maybe she was reckless with her driving and it sent people running from her boat and wanting off. He would have to see he guessed as if she didn't know she was doing something then she wouldn't know the answer.

"Guessing as you are working as a driver you are either part of Paradise Dawn or Blue Pony?" He figured it was a safe thing to ask and not have the woman find him creepy as she seemed to focus herself on her bold attitude and he wondered if she and his brother who is part of paradise dawn might get along as both are bold and more rough to be around, well he doesn't fully know that about this woman but he figures from how she seemed in a rush and called the other people chickenshit and clowns that she was brash as well.

“Ah, no need to be shy, guys have spent decades lining up for a piece of this action~?” The scarlet haired stunner smirking at how her new companion seemed to try to dismiss the topic of personal taste, Lola thumbed her chest and winked at him as she confirmed the fact that she had little trouble in folk having that kind of interest in her, and in doing so clearly seemed to be confident in her looks and rather presumptuous to go with it as well. Though, she was speaking from a LOT of experience, right~?
“Ah yeah, it is a bit plain, huh? But we can spice it up! How about K-Dawg~?” The lagomorphic lass tilting her head to one side when her passenger shared his name with her, she was wonders if there's a bit of joyan in the kid given the sound of his name, though ultimately agrees with his comment on it being a little underwhelming and grinned as she suggested an improvement which one could almost guarantee would fall flat. Though maybe that was the beauty of it, perhaps~?

“Ahahahaha, I guess things got a big too spicy for some~?” The easy-going manner which the mocha minx could boast shining through when she chuckled at the question about the annoyance of her former passengers, she drew her oar into both hands as she began to explain the situation and with that offered something of a demonstration as to the issue which had created the problem by beginning to put her back into things, spinning it around between her hands in a manner reminiscent of the martial artis of Sin as they clear the dock and she beginning to build up some speed through the effort she put in.
“Both, kind of~ I was part of the ponies the last time I was in Fiore, but decided to switch things up and join the new guys~? After all, if my ass don't fit Paradise, I don't know what does, right~?” The laughing leporid letting loose a breath as he asked about her guild, she remembered her time in blue pegasus and the woman in charge in particular fondly, though announced her new allegiance both with a grin and a crisp slap to her own behind to emphasize it. In more ways than one, you had to imagine~?

Kaito wasn't sure about this woman as she seemed to be completely detached from what some would consider reality and he wondered if he might now have made a mistake in coming on this boat with this woman and he reached into the inside pocket of his cloak. "I would prefer you stick to calling me Kaito. I am from Fairy Tail, not sure if you have heard of me or not. As for people lining up for a piece of you, I am not sure what you mean by that, if you mean an actual piece of you or if you mean to sleep with you. I have no interest in sleeping with you." He pulls out a snack from his cloak pocket and started to eat it as he wondered what this woman was going to make this trip look like, but he figured that he was about to find out.

He heard her say something about being part of the Blue Pegasus guild the last time she was in the country, but now she was part of Paradise Dawn. "So you are a guild hopper? What made you go to Paradise Dawn?" He completely ignored that she had hit her own body to the line she said as he wasn't really paying much attention to what she was doing as he was not really interested in what ever she was trying to sell to him or get a rise out of him. He moved his hand and a Santa hat appears and he reached in and pulled out a cookie that was in the shape of the woman and he held it up toward her. "It isn't poisonous and you don't have to eat it now but if you are feeling low or unsure of yourself it will help you to pull yourself out of the rut."

He figured a woman that acts how she was acting here might have something deeper that she was running from and he figured if maybe he can help her see past it if she needs a pick me up later maybe he might have an ally that was inside of Paradise Dawn. He needed to make sure that he didn't burn bridges and he didn't want to make this woman mad as if it gets to Yuurei he might get himself in some trouble or a talking to by the man himself.

“Huuuuuh, maybe? Kaito…? Kaito…? You know, I haven't been back in Fiore for long, so don't take it personally? Sides, I tend to listen more to my own mind than rumours usually~?” The bronze boatswoman seeming to tilt her head to one side as she tried to remember whether or not she had heard a name like this on the proverbial wind, while now that she thought about it there was perhaps a note for Luna to find with what the lad called himself she did readily confess to not paying all that much attention to gossip and the like, and instead preferred to measure and remember folk based more upon the impression that she made of them rather than on account of second hand information.
“Fighting or fornicating, they always want something from the bunny gal~!” Certainly seeming to be in need of an X button to press when next the lad seemed to speak of how he had little in the way of intent for her either, once more that irrepressible sense of confidence which the coney carried seemed to rise to the fore as she bragged humbly of the draw she seemed to be in the eyes of others, and perhaps the coarseness with which she conveyed herself was made a little bit more obvious as well. Ladylike she was not.

“I dig guilds run by women, and I know the one who runs the ponies plenty well enough? Seemed more fun to go for something new!” Enjoying the chance to get to know a new face all the same even if it did seem like the boy was finding out more about her than she was him at the end of the day, Miss Lemara further revealed that there was no grand design in her decision to align herself with the northern monster hunters, though did seem to further hint at the connection which she held with a certain icon in the land who shared at least one of her signature tones as well.
“Oh wow, treats huh~? You sure you ain't sweet on me, cutie pie~?” Standing little upon ceremony either when she was offered a cookie by the lad and showing little intimidation as she seemed to munch upon it almost immediately, likely before he had even gave her an assurance about the safety of the gift he would give her, such charitable behaviour was only likely to endear Kaito all the more toward her in truth, though that didn’t mean she was done teasing him really. Far from it, in fact…

He looked at her in the eyes. "That sounds pretty sad, for that being all people would want from you. Do you not have people just seek you out for companionship or seeking friendship?" He in his own way was now a bit worried about her as she was yes overly happy cocky and boisterous, but people will often cover up their deeper issues with such things like his own brother who feels like he is not good enough so she has to put on a strong face and act bigger that he really is as to not come up looking short of the monster that she wishes to be so he will have to keep an eye on this one to make sure that she doesn't seem to slip off into a break down of some sort.

He rubbed his chin at her answer of only going to them because of a female leader of the guild. He wondered if maybe she didn't like men because of the way that she was treated and only wanted for fighting and being slept with. He was not sure what to really say about what she had said about joining because it has a female leader, does that mean she will leave once the leader is a male again? He guessed he could ask Yuurei to keep him in the loop on that if it were to happen. "I see well I hope you like the guild for the shallow reason that you are joining it." He was not sure if she was really only joining for that reason but if she was he had called it shallow as it was a skin level answer she had given and honest maybe sexist answer. He wasn't deep into understanding what really is within the confines of the word sexist but that kind of sounded like it did.

He sighed as he heard her call him cutie pie. "I am very sure that I am not sweet on you, kinda sounds like you are just used by people to satisfy themselves, just both my masters had taught me to show kindness first before accepting the hand of war." He was not sure if that sounded good or if it really made any sense he had just said it. He wondered if the joy cookie would really even have any kind of effect on her if she was really happy or not he wasn't going to ask her if she feels anything as he is sure that she would turn it into a joke.

“Ahahaha, don't worry, I got plenty of buddies? You don't make it to my age and not make some friends…” The brow of the bronze bunny seeming to arch when the lad seemed to take her little joke about the nature of the bonds she made and show some concern for the quality of her companions, the scarlet eyed siren shook her head and smirked as she affirmed the fact that she had very much managed to make a range of friends in her time, as generous as it had been thus far.
“Almost sounds like you wanna be one though, K-Dawg~! Don't be shy, Mama ain't stingy with them friendlies~!” Such concern something which felt sweet as well even if despite what he said Lola continued to throw a little suspicion at the motivations beneath it, despite being a bit rough around the edges this boy didn't seem like a wholly bad guy, and as such she was happy to extend her good graces toward him in order to strike up a new connection. After all, half the reason she tended to move from place to place so often was to find new and interesting people to befriend, right?

“Whoa, you don't beat about the bush on your opinions, huh? I like that! Not much sense sweating the small stuff, eh?” Not that she wasn’t a little bit gobsmacked when he so overtly deemed her reasoning for her joining those of Paradise Dawn superficial and followed up by implying she was being exploited for her ease of use, Miss Lemara had not quite anticipated him to be quite so candid with his thoughts given what she was used to, but rather than be offended as perhaps many might have instead showed an uncommon sense of approval for him being so straight with her. After all, he might have been blunt, but honesty was always appreciated.

“Though, you sure I ain't the one taking advantage there?” Not that she didn't have a certain bone to pick with the latter statement at the very least, as a party who on the whole tended to 'pitch' more than she caught so to speak when it came to her pursuing more intimate connections she couldn't help but point out that she was a little different to most girls in that regard, and flashed a wink as she did so.
“I'm not usually the docile doe that these ears make most think, ya know~?” A hundred or so years teaching the temptress that the connotations of her appearance tended to inspire a certain sense of innocence and meekness given the animal she resembled, despite looking like a lagomorph the lass was far more like a tiger when it came to attitude, and grinned at Kaito as she pointed such a fact out. Not that it felt like she needed to, at this point, of course…

Kaito spoke simply to the woman. "Again I am not interested in that kind of stuff that your are offering. I am already taken, and I am sure she would not like to share my limited attention. Plus you seem more like you are not looking for a commitment, I am in the stage of my life I am not looking to be fooling around with women that are just around for the fun. I looking to settle down with a women or women and start a family." Kaito had spent most of his teen years in an elf village that some had multiple partners as they are long lived creatures and some get bored of the same partner so would have like two or three at a time. Kaito is not fully sure how it all really worked and was just winging it as he wanted to not be so alone and have a family out side of just his brother and his niece and nephew but he was not sure if that was even a possibility as he feels more like a monster than a man.

He was not going to focus on it and he knows that he is blunt but that is what it takes to get better and grow or atleast that is what his first master told him.  "How would you be taking advantage of me?" He didn't know how the woman thought that she would be taking advantage of him in this. He shook his head as he wasn't thinking he was being taken advantage of by her in any way in this moment.

"Docile doe? You seem to be an elf to me, at least from your lack of scent but I could be wrong on that. You haven't spoken in Elvarin or Val'Elvarin to know if you are of the close or the distance kind though." His keen dragon slayer sense of smell hadn't picked up on a scent for her, so he figured she was an elf or maybe she had something that blocked her scent for his sense of smell, he was not sure as many people have many ways of protecting themselves, he was just going to enjoy the boat ride and not worry about it.

“Whoa, easy kiddo. Not every offer of friendship comes with the expectation of benefits, ya know~?” The brow of the bronze bunny seeming to raise as the boy seemed to rather adamantly refuse her apparently interest, Miss Lemara had to admit that it was kind of cute to see Kaito get all worked up like this and likely spoke of the connection he had with whomever his paramour was, and as such pointed out that despite her playfulness she was speaking roe of experience than intent when it came to matters of intimacy and exploitation.
“Glad to hear you have someone… Been too long since I last fell in love? Hence the 'friends'~?” All the while feeling a little bit envious however, the lagomorphic lass let loose a heavy breath as she thought back to the dark haired fighter who had seemed to steal her heart a decade or so ago, and laughingly lamented the fact that she hadn't had that same 'falling' feeling with anyone since then.

“Smell, huh? Well, it's something like that. My sisters and me… Well, they say our people came from the moon, originally~?” The fair haired femme frowning however when the boy seemed to try to determine her breed through scent and feeling curious as to his own for that fact, all the same she scarcely made an effort to hide the fact that her heritage was rather unusual, and perhaps out of this world if certain legends were to be believed as well…
