"Say, that was a pretty heavy scene, right?
Let's go see something more fun, eh?"

The girl with the green gaze seeming to squeeze her shoulder and offer a sympathetic smile as she spoke of the weight of the moment which they had seen there, it was certain that there was no denying just how heavily Miss Serena had been affected by the experience of watching someone, especially someone so young, losing their mother and as such she certainly took interest of what her green eyed guide said next, that was for sure.
“More fun…?” Still seeming somewhat confused of course given all that had happened and ever more so the circumstances which had led to it, not to mention the rather abstract explanation which she had been given so far, all the same she felt a note of intrigue at the suggestion that they find something a bit more light hearted, if a little bit bemused by the happy go lucky turn which this stranger had taken with her…

"Yeah~!
Or I suppose I should say someone, really~?
After all, every one has to have a leading man, right~?"

The beryl eyed beauty seeming ever brighter and breezier at the interest she was shown and practically hopping on the spot when questioned about the supposed fun which might await them, her hearty host continued to speak in what seemed to be made half of riddles as she clarified that the entertainment which awaited them seemed to be a person, and then offered out her hand as an invitation to whatever or in this case whomever it was she wished to show off.
“Uh… Okay, I guess?” It far to say that Sofia Was still largely bewildered by it all, though Sofia was usually one to rebel against the overbearing authority of others there seemed something sweet and trustworthy about the emerald eyed enchantress, and so despite feeling as though she had little choice but to follow the whims of the only other person who could see her she offered her mitt to the girl with a mite of reluctance…

"Excellent~! Now…
There we go!"

As such the princess of the Pegasi left to wait for a moment as her guide seemed to hide that green gaze beneath her long lashed lids and focus upon something for a moment, Miss Serena was found frowning for a moment as the girl gripped her hand with both of hers, and then noticed something seeming to change around them.

“What’s…?” Once more that same mist which had seemed to engulf her upon her arrival in this realm seeming to sweep in and swirl about them both, the memory of her arrival seemed to make the valerican vixen brace a bit because of that, but as she did so the eyes of the enchantress opened up. Looking to the lass and watching her nod gently and understandingly, any effort which she might have put in to escape her grasp or try and push away this enveloping fog seemed to be lost, as all she could do was hold on to those emerald eyes as if she were hypnotised, and when the moment was over she found herself somewhere entirely different…

“We're… This is… A street?” Once more it appearing that the haze which had set about them would ebb away and reveal something which Sofia did not expect, the platform and the rails which ran to it had melted away whilst the mist had overtaken them, and in its place seemed a locale which seemed almost as busy and yet at the same time far less shabby as well. Folk walking about in clothing which didn’t look quite so old or well used but instead rather new and well made, suits and dresses had seemed to replace that which was heavier and more hardwearing, and the scenery was the same.

“Its so bright…?” Night still extending overhead but the area no longer so dim for it, bright lights illuminated their locale and highlighted the shapes and colours of the buildings around them, whilst outside several of them seemed to be automotives which looked as advanced as those folk spoke of in Bosco if not more so. Clearly built to run well and along the cobblestones which extended beneath them, beyond the vehicles the thing that stood out most was what looked to be a large billboard attached to what our lady lead could only guess was a theatre, advertising a play with a bereft couple upon it which seemed entitled a rather unfortunate name. Sounded like a tragedy, didn’t it…?

"Hahaha, I mean, the story would be pretty boring if it all happened at a train station, right~?"

Miss Serena seeming to find the contrast so stark that she was practically bewildered by the transition and with it maybe a little enamoured as well, her host seemed ease the grasp which she had upon her hand and afford her a few moments to take it all in given the apparent culture shock, before stepping in because of the astoundment which she was shown and chuckling as she pointed out how their previous setting would make for something of a poor stage for the entirety of the tale. Which, one supposed, stood to reason.

"Now, where is he? Pretty rude to make a girl wait, hm~?"

The mood of the marvel only seeming that bit cheerier now that they had moved away from the grim scene with which they had begun this adventure, all the same it seemed that the stranger was a little bit distracted from the task of watching over her guest as she was currently engaged with sighting another, though the delay only seemed to amuse her really. It was like she would have merrily waited for whomever this was forever, somehow…?

"Aha! there he is!"

Miss Serena almost relishing the chance to look the lass over when she wasn’t focused upon herself but rather another and ever more so with the anticipation she showed for what was next, there was something in those emerald eyes right now which reminded her of the ravishing raven whom she now called her wife, and it was both relaxing and enthralling. Which naturally only made the excitement that she showed when finally the soul for whim she was searching seemed to at last make his appearance.

“The blonde~?” Only too eagerly looking toward the finger of her fellow femme for that reason and following it to a fair headed fellow who seemed to be shuffling along the back streets with a frown and an obvious desire not to be interacted with, Sofia seemed to share the former as she looked over features which were handsome in perhaps a tad bit of a girly way, but ever more so seemed to find her attention drawn toward what he seemed to be carrying upon his back. Now that was a bit much, right…?

“Wow uh, hope he’s not compensating~?” Once more seeming to find a parallel in this scene with her lady wife or at least the giant blade which she carried once upon a time, the size of the weapon which he had somehow strapped to his back made even that look rather slender and manageable by comparison, and only too readily seemed to draw a smirk, an arched brow and a dry comment as well from Sofia.

"I know, right~?
What is it with the men in my life and their swords?
Oh gosh, I wonder what it says about me though…"

Her host meanwhile seeming to snicker and tilt her head at the crack she made before embarking upon a spot of wry self-reflection, as she did so something seemed to bleed into the mind of Miss Serena as she saw the face of a young man with hair as spiky as the one they now stared at and the exact same sword, but a wholly different attitude with the smile he wore. Along with him though someone more severe creeping in as well for the briefest moment, a sharp and almost catlike face appeared with contrasting locks of sleek silver intruded upon the moment before being pushed away, as if it was something that someone was trying so hard to hide…

"Still, he’s pretty cute, huh~?"

Ice seeming to run through the veins of the valerican vixen as she saw a flash of eyes so cold that they’d make the north pole feel warm and hospitable by comparison, Sofia seemed to be saved from the skin crawling feeling that such an image gave off by the nudge of her host and returned to the moment as the emerald eyed enchantress spoke of the good looks that their apparent ‘leading man’ had, which was something which few could have really denied.

“I’ll say… Though, there’s something about him…?” The princess of the pegasi certainly not among such a number who could and if not in this particular circumstance likely to invite him to her guild, if not somewhere else, the leggy lass did not mind leering at him one little bit as she admired the contrast between a taught and toned frame and those softer and perhaps more feminine features. Yet, even as she did so, there was something which haunted her about his appearance. And perhaps, him as well…?

“He looks a bit… Lost?” Rarely if ever before feeling like she had a chance to look upon someone who carried them with such confidence and yet in their eyes seemed to with it shoulder such a sense of vulnerability, though he was striding along the street toward them still and in one way looked to know exactly where he wanted to go, at the same time Miss Serena couldn’t help but to feel as if she was looking at someone who was searching for something that he couldn’t see as well. Like he was bewildered by everything, but just didn’t know it.

"You think so too, huh~?"

Only too clearly it seeming as well that Sofia was not alone in this line of thinking either, her green eyed guide seemed to step in next to her and rest a gentle hand upon her shoulder as she confirmed a clarity in their opinion, and then let loose a heavy breath as she looked to him as well born not of frustration but instead something else…

"I mean, how could we stay away, then~?
Those big pretty eyes, so needy~?
Go say hello!"

Such sombreness only seeming to be transitory however and all too quickly did her host’s tone become cheery again, for a moment she seemed to step backward and pull her hands behind her back to twist from one side and towards the other, whilst those emerald eyes never left the form of the man ahead of her. Though all too quickly did her stance seem to square itself as she thrust those hands forward, and let them loose with enough force to send her guest stumbling forward.

“W-Wuh…!” It safe to say that Sofia was surprised by the sudden act and perhaps far less adroit than she might have been because of that, the feet of the fair fox seemed to struggle to find something to right them on the unevenness of the broken cobbles beneath them, and for a moment she thought she was going to fall over. At least until she crashed face first into something firm and yet in its own way soft, and warm as well…

Wait, he? I…? The leggy lass looking up as she found the smell of metal and yet with it something softer and gentler filling her nose, Sofia found her lashes fluttering as she was given the chance to peek up to the face of the young man that she and her guide had spent the past few moments admiring in the most up closer and personal sense possible as she stood there, looking at him in bewilderment and to her great surprise saw his own eyes looking back at her.
He can… And I can…? Seeming to have become so accustomed to the fact that she was invisible to almost all that she was genuinely surprised when the blonde boy showed that he had not only saw her but in his own way seized her as well, seeming to have rested his hands upon her shoulders just firmly enough to stop her without hurting her, and was now looking toward her with a mix of surprise and well, annoyance as well.

"You should really learn to look where you’re going, you know…?"

That latter quality seeming to be highlighted when he raised his voice and spoke in a slightly nasal tone which seemed to carry irritation and detachment in equal measure, those mitts which he had used to catch her eased backward as he looked down upon her with that sense of shock waning whilst impatience took its place, and yet despite the recognition for his expression it seemed that Miss Serena was a little but captivated by his gaze.
“Oh, um… H-Hi There~?!” The face of the fox flaring a little both because of those good looks and the proximity but ever more so the lass intrigued by the odd colour or perhaps presence about his eyes, there was something in that mix of blue and a hint of green which seemed to practically glow as she looked into her, and so with the combination of their clash and how that quality seemed to intrigue her she felt a moment of fluster…

“You, uh…” Unsure of exactly what she should do here but at least feeling it was better if she took a step back from him, after creeping rearward Sofia looked down at herself in a vain effort to find some reason to speak to him further, and after observing the fact that she now seemed to be dressed in something fuchsia and familiar, also noticed the fact that she suddenly and surprisingly seemed to have her hands burdened by something which she had not expected to find.
“W-Wanna buy a flower…?” Apparently now gripping the stem of something elegant and yellow in one of her mitts whilst the other was loaded with a basket which was full of blooms of similar shape and in some cases colour as well, for a second the slender siren seemed to look between both of the objects and then lift the former up to present to this new man in her life, noting how surprisingly rosy her cheeks felt as she showed it off to him and asked if he would like to purchase it from her. After all, it only felt natural, right~? At least as far as excuses went…

"Ugh, fine…
How much?"

A rather awkward moment seeming to pass in the aftermath as Sofia looked to this striking young man and he looked back with eyes which seemed to be trying to decide if she was a mad woman, in all honesty there was rarely a moment where the vixen from Valerica had welcomed a groan and a roll of the eyes when he finally appeared to accept what she was peddling, and ask about a price for the bloom which she held in hand. The relief was palpable, and perhaps helped her to relax that little bit more around him.

“Um… How about, for you… A smile~?” That fact certainly helping her when she suddenly seemed to realise that she had no idea of what to charge the lad or even what the currency was here either, Miss Serena was only too able to prove that in the face of something pretty she usually did pretty well on her feet so to speak, and so with a little bit of her typical mischief and more daring self seeming to return she offered out a price that entertained her, and seemed to draw a gasp from some figure in her ear as well.

"A…?
Jeez, I don't have time to be messing around here, you know?"

Perhaps going that little bit off script so to speak and yet treated a little bit when the outcome seemed to be that frosty façade which she saw before her thawing just enough to let a dash of pinkness through, those near blues seemed to widen for a moment and colour stained the cheeks of the young man as he most assuredly did not seem to expect someone to suddenly start flirting with him here, which in truth only made the mischievous mermaid all the more determined to see what happened next.
“Oho, you have somewhere to be, huh~? Meeting someone special~?” Grinning because of that and then stepping to the same side as the lad attempted to walk past her, the sudden urgency which he showed seemed to play right into the hands of Sofia given how this little ‘game’ had moved right into her comfort zone and out of his, apparently, and all too quickly was she teasing him about why he was in a rush to get somewhere else…

"What? No…!
It’s just… Work stuff, you wouldn’t understand."

All the while the words of the wicked woman seeming to wreak a greater sense of confusion and perhaps with it alarm from the blonde boy and with it perhaps provoke a greater sense of emotion, it was amusing to watch someone who was trying so very hard to seem cool and collected and so very far above it all bark back at her with annoyance at her query, and then fold his arms across his chest as he tried to excuse himself for more vague and pertinent reasoning.
“Oh good, I thought I might have some competition~?” Not that Miss Serena was in all that much of a rush to let him leave of course and showing that as she bobbed her brows and made a bold effort not to ignore her interest in him, though she had found herself intrigued by his image and the silent loneliness which he carried she was ever more so allured by the attempt at defiance, and how despite his desire it seemed to be far less firm than his bearing might have implied. It almost seemed as if he wanted someone to snatch him up, eh~?

"What’re you…? Nevermind.
Listen, you shouldn't get involved with guys like me?
I'm into some… Bad stuff?"

The fluster of the fair haired fella something which was quite the tantalizing sight to behold and in its own way seeming to settle the spirit of one who had been through such turbulence since picking up that bow in the market, like only too many fun folk who seemed to put up a tough front to protect themselves the soul with the sizeable sword seemed adorable as he tried to search for a reason to dismiss her, and ultimately seemed to settle upon a set of reasoning which would have kept her safer if she did so. Though really, who was looking to protect whom was open to debate.

“Aw, you're worried about me~? That’s pretty sweet…” It certainly seeming from the sidelines that Sofia had more of a handle on this situation and perhaps more of a claim to the prize she saw before her, all she could do was grin at the warning and then bob her shoulders and bat her lashes in a mock show of swooning, before stepping closer still in a greater effort to seem him flail.

“I suppose sweet is a pretty good prize too, from a dangerous guy like you~? Here…” The brunette proving bold enough with the blonde boy that she even went so far as she free a hand and use that to snag one of the straps he had running over and down his shoulders, a practiced flirt like the princess of the Pegasi seemed only too happy to lower her tone into a purr as she remarked upon the care and attention she saw in his comment, and then used the privilege of her new position to ensure that she passed along the gift she had been trying to give him.
“Something to remember me by, hm~?” Tucking the flower into that same suspender which he wore and by no accident letting the bright and beautiful head of the item rest upon his heart, she grinned and flashed the blonde a little wink as she finally let him get on with whatever he was getting up to today, safe in the knowledge that this was an encounter that he wouldn’t soon forget. Though throughout it, had almost forgotten why she was here as well…

"Yeah, uh… Whatever.
Listen I gotta…"

A swirling mix of emotion seeming to afflict the boy as he looked down to the item which she had given up and the implications which came with it, in all honesty our heroine couldn’t tell if he was more annoyed by what she had done or how little he had fought against the act, but ultimately at the very least seemed to be relieved to no longer find himself accosted. At least not wholly, that was, as she finally seemed to step aside and let him stomp his way deeper into the street.

“Sure, gotta go do your bad stuff, hm~?” Not that our feisty fox was entirely done with him and as such only letting him take a couple of steps before she spun on her heel and waved him away, it was cute to watch one who was supposed to be so tough and strong seeming to skulk and sulk away like a toddler post tantrum, and almost alluringly so. God damn, her guide had been right, this guy was like a walking highlight, and Sofia didn’t want to be done with him yet…

“Hey, you know I don't mind some bad… Stuff?” For that reason the foxy femme stepping off as she watched him march forward and breaking into a half run in order to level with him once more, when she had drawn near enough Miss Serena reached out for him again, but this time things were different. Or perhaps more the same, in some ways.
“O-Oh…” The wry woman watching as her hand once more seemed to pass through his arm like she wasn’t there, just like it did before at the train station with the strangers, even after so short an interaction the experience seemed to break her heart a little bit to see herself seemingly stifled again, though a familiar tone offered comfort.

"Sorry, that’s all we get for now, unfortunately…
But don't worry, we'll see him again soon~?"

The girl with the green gaze who had guided her here seeming to step back in behind the beryl beauty and offer a gentle and understanding word, she patted Sofia’s shoulder gently as she stepped past her and looked to the back of the boy before spinning about herself, and offering both her hand and an invitation to get another slice of his action so to speak. Which was something our lady lead could hardly refuse, eh~?
