Personality: Ulyssia is known for her honesty, but it is a kind of truth, soft-spoken and delivered with gentleness. She doesn't seek to bruise feelings, despite her inability to sugarcoat her words, believing that honesty is a noble trait. She attempts to avoid harshness, understanding that some truths are difficult to hear. However, for Ulyssia, if someone isn’t ready for the truth, she'll simply wait until the time is right to share it, but ultimately making sure that she does share it. She is quiet and thoughtful, always weighing their words before speaking, preferring to listen and observe.

Ulyssia tends to keep to herself, speaking only when necessary. Her presence is gentle as they carry themselves with an effortless grace, and their words are even gentler. She often avoids the spotlight if she can help it. Though her gaze can still carry a certain depth, there’s hardly ever harsh judgment in it--only a quiet curiosity. Ulyssia's ambitions are grand and strong, but they are never shouted or boasted about, as if it’s tempered by a humility that keeps her grounded. She is fearless when it comes to her goals and what she must protect.

Despite her impressive wisdom and knowledge of magic and the like, Ulyssia feels most comfortable in solitude, away from the demands of leadership or praise. Motives:
  • Purpose: Ulyssia's yearning for purpose stems from losing majority of her clan and the role she was meant to inherit. Preserved while her people fell, she is haunted by survivor's guilt and a need to find meaning in her survival. By seeking a new path, Ulyssia hopes to honor her lost kin and fill the void left by their clans destruction.


Fears:
  • Attatchment: She worries that forming new bonds will only lead to more heartache, as she's learned to rely solely on herself. The guilt of being the sole survivor intensifies this fear, making her feel unworthy of forming new meaningful connections. Attachment feels like a risk she can’t afford, so she keeps others at a distance, guarding herself from the vulnerability and potential loss that closeness might bring.

  • Being Sealed Away Again: Having been trapped away for so long, Ulyssia has developed a fear of being sealed away or captured because it means endless isolation, an eternity cut off from light, sound, and freedom, with no hope of escape. To her, it is a fate worse than death.
