Details


Description: A heavy cape held gloriously on the back of the wearer by two shoulder plates. It has the Amaforth Academy symbol on it and is said to give a scholarly air to the wearer. It is said to be granted to those that have a great understanding of magic in some form.

Extra


Requirements:
  • The user must purchase this item from the Mysterious Merchant in one of his topics.

Notes:
  • The item may be indestructible, but it does not offer protection. This means that attacks aimed at the back of the user bypass the cape in terms of regulation. In topics, the user can represent this by accepting the damage done against their backs and stating that the cape got very lightly damaged.

Effects


  • Mana Manipulator: Increases the speed of item and magic spells cast by the user by 10m/s.
  • Mana Momentum: Increases the distance of item and magic spells cast by the user by 20m.

Effects (Mage)


  • Great Magic Understanding: The user gets to upgrade one of their enhancements to the advanced version. Allowing them to take it up without using another enhancement slot.

Effects (Adventurers)


  • Elemental User: The user has managed to gain an understanding of some elemental forces. Nearly an unheard of feat for adventurers. This allows them to choose two elements and apply elemental synergy to their things, as if they had it in a magic. First pick of two choices is free. Place it under the magic enhancement list, as Cape Synergy. Re-picks can only be done if you pay the enhancement purger price for the element. This effect like all others goes away when the cape does.
