The downpour came as quickly as the blizzard had ceased, and yet despite this unnatural storm the hardened people of Iceberg seemed more confused rather than bothered by it.
At the outskirts of the settlement a pair of travelers were spotted. One was clearly a warrior judging from the metal-clad armor that covered her attire, yet she seemed to show no signs of a weapon being carried with her.
At her side was a young silver-haired maiden, her attire somewhat reminiscent of a priestess, yet the slit irises of the woman that reminded one of a dragon gazed curiously ahead.
"Are you certain that she is here?" The priestess inquired, upon which her guardian commented calmly. "Should be, the intel suggests that our 'sister' went to visit this settlement ahead of the upcoming conflict."
The duo continued their march toward the settlement while the armored woman commented in amusement. "Besides, surely our presence will be heralded by her flock already. There is no way to properly hide a murder i at a weather like this."
The priestess chuckled softly in amusement. "Well, I do apologize for the weather, it seems our powers are still not exactly tamed just yet. But why are you considering to carry out a murder?"
The armored knight sighed softly. "It is what they call a flock of crows. Let us at least 'try' to avoid problems while threading in the homeland of our sister."
Yet the suggestion made the priestess muse softly. "Is that why we are walking instead of opening a rift into the void to cross over to her location?" The idea made sense: Traversing the void was faster and easier for them, but she wanted to see the realm of Iceberg for herself.
"Something like that. Besides, it is likely your query is here as well. You seek to give Brone something, right? You're likely to find him close to Lumi-chi then."
The priestess nodded her head, her gaze turning more somber even if only for the briefest of moments. Why only briefly? Because she saw a most fascinating sight nearby. A crow was gazing diligently at her, its gaze so intense that the priestess couldn't help but snicker in mischief. "Now now dear Crow, if you keep gazing so passionately at me even I will get restless."
But her companion merely walked past the tree the crow was in and chimed softly. "Hurry up, or I'm leaving you behind. You know every moment we spend out in the open leaves us at risk of getting noticed by less pleasant onlookers."
