General Name: Avalon's Tome of Sky Slot: Weapon Type: Book Handling: One-Handed Class: Mythic Quantity: Limited Element: Wind Damage: Nil Durability: 3x S-Rank Lore: The precursors to the Amaforth Academy, the Scholars of Avalon, were pioneers of their time travelling around the world, learning the secrets of their magic from various sources, which was refined into a series of books called The Tomes of Avalon. These encyclopedias of knowledge were passed down through the generations of scholars, adding more to them over time. However, all was not well within the Scholars of Avalon as the sect slowly diminished in numbers while prospective glory seekers sought out the tomes for their greedy desires. Hoping to gain the powers of the tomes, a greedy, talentless scholar named Juan stole three of them in quick succession, the tomes of Flames, Shadows and Sky, respectively, as the library that housed the tomes for open display fell under attack by a demonic incursion allowing the thief responsible to claim them for their purposes. The remaining seven were separated and sent across the continent to be securely kept within the various banks and vaults of the countries best affiliated with their elements. Avalon Scholars would complete pilgrimages to each of these tomes to enrich their knowledge with their magical abilities. Over time, as the demonic incursions worsened, education and archiving took a backfoot, with the swaths of members being conscripted to fight against the monsters. As a consequence, the Scholars were reduced from the thousands who served throughout society to a mere handful of elders who shaped the wills of the ruling class. Lacking any form of succession, the Scholars of Avalon fell to dust with their tomes being the only lasting presence in this world becoming artefacts and trinkets for the elite to use at their pleasure. Some were given to the Amaforth Academy however many to this day remain carefully guarded treasures such as the Tome of Blizzards held within the Nataqin Catacombs buried amongst the last frost members of this long-dead organization. Description: The tome of Sky is amongst the most controversial creations amongst the tomes of Avalon with rumours of its creation sparking debate using the souls of the first masters of the wind itself, the beasts and mythical beings of the air denoting its otherwise corrupted and winged appearance that applies upon whoever wields and reads the book. To some it was considered a relief when it was stolen by the notorious thief, however it still remains a blight upon the scholars for losing such a valuable piece of knowledge. Extra Requirements:
