Quest: The Hypothesis of Invocation



Summary:
You can say a summoner is a commander. Lead strategist of their team. King piece on the chess board representing the battle field….when all is running smoothly. Of course, this is why you are here. To learn how to be the epitome of efficiency in your craft. A feat that cannot come to you without a share of stress.

Besides the joined partnership provided with the College of destruction, that sees you and your summons trying to brave their onslaught of explosive and massive abilities in hope you could reach them and win—bringing glory to not only yourself but your college—we hope to test your skills against other scenarios too.

Thousand eyes on the prize: Combat is a vital skill, but not the only one an aspiring mage should consider when trying to build their reputation. There are many services that one could consider providing. Scouting a field is but one of them and with the use of your summons, you could cover more ground than the average mage in times the call for reconnaissance, spying, search and assist, and defense. Skills that will not be overlooked and are an essential lesson all summoners should consider learning. As such, we provide practice zones for one to utilize these strategies, and encourage mages to reach out to their teachers and professors so that they could set up proper scenarios. Eventually, when one feels confident with their process, we also provide low rank quests to test your skills further.

Capture the spell tag: In the chaos of battle, you are manning your warriors for war. Developing a sense of quicktime strategy would benefit you greatly, especially when you have another hoard to dismantle while doing it. As such, we have provided the space and equipment to practice team on team activities. Like defend or seizing a base, capturing a spell tag from the enemies, or even obstacle course races that challenges your efficiency in directing your summons.

Words: 500-2,500
Basic Reward: Base Quest Rewards, +5 Mana per Rank
Good Bonus: You ensure the care and state of your summons as you meet the challenges.
Bad Bonus: There are some benefits to handling your summons coldly if that is how you’d prefer.
Requirements: The character accepting the quest must be in Amaforth Academy.


Quest Conditions:

  • Each member of every team must meet the minimum requirements of the difficulty that has been selected i.e. a D-Rank can only complete D-Rank versions of the quests unless they are with a partner or group allowing them to complete a C-Rank quest.

  • Should the user meet the requirements of a certain difficulty, they may automatically participate in lower difficulties.

  • Users may complete up to 8 neutral quests every month. Refreshing on 1st of the following month.

  • These may be completed alongside regular quests.
