Karina looked at the quests that were being offered on a freelance board that anyone could take and she wondered what she should take but she settled on a escort mission to keep someone safe while they were down in the lower area of Myras City. She was not sure why the rich treated the poor so horrible and she guessed it was at the point the rich and the poor were just enemy to the others. She wondered how long till the poor started to eat the rich, she made sure her gun was ready and that her companion was ready as well as she was going to keep working as hard as she could to make it to where she was trying to get to to be a known adventurer and that she would need to not worry about other things but for now she was still pretty low on the peaking order.

Karina made her way into the upper levels of the city and she was stopped a few times as guard seemed to be very active here right now and she wondered if something had happened in this area or if they were just in force cause someone had paid extra for them to be here and ready in case of other things that were going on. She now is wondering if this had something to do with why she was here and she was soon to see that the place she was to meet her client was in fact covered in guard that stopped her and she had to produce the request to have them let her through and they were not very nice about it and she went on her way and she was met by a woman that was around her age and she looked at Karina and smiled before speaking.

The other guard looked wide eyed at what had just happened and the woman they were escorting turned around in shock at how quick the woman that was guarding had reacted to an attack on her and Sunshard took the woman's hand and gently rubbed the back of her hand to try and calm the woman that Karina had just saved and Karina barked an order for the other guard to take this one to the knights and she would keep going with the woman herself as she wasn't going to risk that they get double crossed again. Karina was now wondering if this might be this woman's own father that was aiming to kill his own daughter but she wasn't sure why that would be the case. Karina started moving again with the woman as the woman had recovered from her shock of what had just happened and that was just the case.

The woman seemed to stop at every stall on the way looking at flowers, jewelry, painting and seeming that she was just a normal woman wanting to see pretty and well made things which made this even more confusing for Karina as she was hoping that she would see some reason that this woman was being targeted by these people and what they could want from her and she wondered if this woman might have turned down some person and they are making this a big deal and trying to kill her off or maybe her father was refusing to turn her over for an arranged marriage. That could have sense to it, but what doesn't make sense as that would just get her killed. She now wondered if this was more a scare her straight thing to get her to accept one, Karina noticed a few other people in the crowd that were seeming to be looking for too long.

Karina had her gun hand at the ready and she was ready to strike if something was to happen that needed handled and they didn't leave her waiting long as a group had come out of the shadows and Karina and Sunshard rushed into handle them Sunshard was more of a distraction than an actual fighter but he still did his part well as Karina dodged knife attacks and took shots at them as she fought with them and they were not backing down so she transformed and went werewolf on them to their shock but she was taking them on claw to knife and making a showing of her power. She was not going to back down from them and they had started to give up on the fight and lay down their weapons and guards showed up and took them away and Karina turned back to normal and returned to her.

The woman looked amazed that this smaller woman had such a beast in her and that was something that she hadn't expected and that was something she took note of and Sunshard seemed a bit confused at this woman not being scared of Karina being a beast like that. She seemed to not judge the woman that had just turned into a werewolf to help keep her safe. Sunshard was feeling something was off about the woman. Karina let the woman keep leading them as Karina got use to being back in her more human form and that was harder than it looked as changing caused changes and made her have a hunger. She was in control of it but she needed to make sure that she was careful about it. The woman lead them into a place that was selling weapons and other armors and things of the like.

She got some adventuring gear and a strange straightened and thing sword and she smiled happy that she was able to make it and that she was not going to have to fail this again. Karina wondered what this was a bout and why this woman was getting fitted like she was going to be going on an adventure of her own and the woman seemed happy and Karina sees it in her eye that she was excited and a spark of adventure was in the woman's eye. Now Karina sees this was a set up someone had gone out their way to put her in danger to scare her. She was a target to scare her into not going on this adventure, Karina was sure that her father hadn't been behind it and that was something that lifted a weight off of Karina's shoulders, at least for the moment but she wondered who was behind it.

Once they were done they walked out of the shop with the other woman wearing the gear she had just bought and she was looking to use it and fight with it. Karina was going to do her best to make sure that this woman was to make it home in one piece and without any harm or so she hoped but she was sure that this woman wasn't just going to stand around in a fight or back down on her own so she and Sunshard were going to have to work their hardest to make this trip back safe. As they went people attacked but where quickly routed with the team work of the three and handed off to guards and Karina could tell that this woman was well trained in the sword her form was amazing so clearly her father supported her. A woman stood in their way and the woman they were escorting questioned why her step mother was here and that was when Karina figured it out and called the guards to take her in and they did Karina got the woman home safe and was paid for her hard work.
