Description: St.Blake Asylum was a notorious facility for the criminally insane housed in Caelum which accepted patients regardless of their nationality and affiliation, perhaps the most infamous patient was Father Matthew, a devotee to the Illumin faith who unknowing burned his family alive when they professed their non-belief to him as a child. Growing up as an Orphan, Father Matthew was taken in by the church and became one of its many inquisitors serving within the Holy Knights before falling out of favour and being sent to St.Blake Asylum after burning his comrades alive in a fit of rage. Restrained within the cold, white walls, Father Matthew reconciled with his faith and escaped the asylum after one of the patients blew themselves up. As a consequence of the shock therapy before his escape, Father Matthew became attuned with lightning allowing him to manipulate electricity within the air and summon it from will.

Effects


  • From Torment into Joy: Debuff Spells no longer apply upon allies instead apply as other-buff upon them for one rank lower.
  • Unrestrained Power: Cooldowns for debuff-type spells start counting after the initial casting of the spell rather than when the spell was finished. Sustained spells may be recast without cancelling the previous instance of the spell
  • Forking Shock: Whilst wearing the Escaped Priest Robes of the St.Blake Asylum, the user can cast their spells as though they were lightning-based while also giving them lightning-based elemental synergy, as a result of this strong affinity to lightning upon striking a target with a lightning debuff spell, the user's spells will bend towards them for the rest of the turn.
