Description: Ebisu's Sway, a relic whispered to have been wielded by the god of fortune himself, is a testament to craftsmanship defying the ravages of time. Despite its rumored age, the weapon gleams with an otherworldly luster, captivating those who dare to gaze upon it. Devotees of the Seven Lucky Gods believe Ebisu's Sway possesses the power to dictate fortunes, showering its wielder with prosperity and abundance. Legends speak of its ability to fill bellies and coffers, signifying material balance and drawing one closer to the divine Ebisu. The true extent of its power remains shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain: those who come into contact with Ebisu's Sway shall know abundance in full.

Measurements: Ebisu's Sway, a colossal hammer measuring 145cm from pummel to axe tip, is said to weigh an astonishing 363kg. Its sheer size and heft speak to the divine power it embodies, a physical manifestation of the abundance and prosperity associated with the god Ebisu.

Drawbacks


  • Mobility Stiffening:  Wielding Ebisu’s Sway imposes a burden on the user. They receive buffs from allies and companions for one rank lower while their dashes and movement-based spells are reduced by one rank in range and speed.

  • Weapon Limitations: While in possession of Ebisu’s Sway, the user is limited to wielding only another axe or shield in their off-hand slot.


Effects


  • Encumbering Abundance: Ebisu’s Sway curses all it touches with an overwhelming, arctic weight. The mystic axe doesn’t merely strike; it encases opposing equipment in a thin crust of golden, magical ice upon contact. With each successive strike, the ice thickens, and by the third blow, the afflicted item is completely frozen over, severed from its wielder’s connection, and rendered useless until the end of the topic. This chilling curse ensures that no defense remains unscathed.

  • Ebisu’s Golden Weight: Even living beings cannot escape the crushing power of Ebisu’s curse. Each strike chips away at the target's mobility, scattering frost over them and applying an A-rank debuff to their speed. This debuff stacks with every subsequent hit, compounding the burden until the victim is slowed to an agonizing near-standstill. The effect applies to any point of contact, be it armor, weapons, or the body itself, making escape almost impossible.
