Personal Name: Kurokawa, Takaya Age: 18 Gender: Male Class: Cleric Rank: D-Rank Guild: Lamia Scale Tattoo: Left Palm, Faded Rose Face: Gundam Tanaka | Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Appearance Height: 5' 9" Weight: 163 lbs Hair: Black with Gray Eyes: Faded Rose and Arctic Blue Overall: Takaya's skin tone is noticeably pale and grayish, which suggests that he doesn't get out much. He is fairly muscular. His head appears to be shaved from the neck up to his temple, where the rest of his hair seems to be slicked back with the exception of a poof of hair in the middle that droops over his forehead. His hair color is black with pale grey streaks through it. He was born with faded rose eyes, but his right eye has since changed to an arctic blue. He also has a grayish scar tattoo that runs down the left side of his face and through his left eye. He also doesn't have eyebrows. He has more tattoos, which one cannot see unless he was to remove his clothing. There is a pentagram circle on his neck, with a large raven below it holding a cross. Below it are three wolves, followed by a dark purple cloud design. On the left side there is another tiered circle with illegible writing in it, which extends down his leg. His right arm has a snake on it which has a skull in it's mouth. His left arm, at least as far as the bandages go is covered in scars and other marks. Takaya wears a long, black jacket that is always left open. The left sleeve is pulled up to the elbow and held by silver pins and he wears a long purple scarf that often covers his mouth. The back of his jacket, as well as both ends of his scarf have a strange, vertical symbol printed on them. Under his jacket, he wears a white button-up shirt that is also left open, and another shirt under it which is slightly darker and has a grayish-purple cross design across its front. He seems to be wearing normal black pants held up with a black belt and silver buckle, and black boots with numerous straps across them. His entire left arm, at least up to the elbow is completely covered in bandages. Extra: A gold earring for each ear. Two silver rings on his right hand, pointer and middle. Personality Personality: The scratched surface of Takaya is that of an aloof individual. Isolated and indifferent towards the struggles of others is how Takaya prefers to present himself. Bringing himself to a very fair-minded view on the world and the people in it. That being said, it is only the surface of the type of person Takaya is and often he extends beyond the much colder demeanor in the presence of those who respect and support him in his endeavors, along with those he has grown to trust and care for in kind. Despite an outward projection of a much tougher image, Takaya is surprisingly caring, appreciating close relationships he can develop with people. Around these people he shows more trust, being forthright and sincere with them in his emotions and opinions. The caring nature extends into his abilities as a mage, oriented towards supporting others instead of inflicting damage. Takaya is highly dedicated and loyal to his guild, allies and most importantly his friends. He values them and would assist them with some hesitation based around the circumstances, but he would certainly strive to do his best for their sake. He's also quite fond of animals, typically smaller ones like rodents. He is flustered easily by well-timed compliments and is quick to follow instead of lead, displaying submissive tendencies. To boot, Takaya has a slight issue where he derives some modicum of pleasure from pain, being a masochist. This is emphasized by his bandaged arm, which is littered with self-inflicted scars. Because of his origins, Takaya isn't just fond of animals but life in general. He holds a very personal belief that all is sacred and deserves to be able to exist. He could never bring himself to kill someone or something, going so far as to offer to heal their injuries even if he was their enemy. He also seems to be highly concerned with the status of flora and fauna whereever he goes, expressing his interest in preserving nature and causing as little damage as possible to the natural ecosystem. Magic Magic Name: Life-Binder Magic Element: Nature Magic Description: The magic of a Life-Binder is heavily entrenched in the nature of the world. With a focus on mainly sustained healing, it has access to several healing spells that are either instant or area of effect. The sustained spells typically require the caster to plant a seed on the target, either through physical contact or by throwing it at them. Area of effect spells require a seed as well, which is planted in an area, though it may also be planted on someone. These seeds are all activated by arm gestures aimed at the seed in question. The more base healing spells require arm gestures to cast. Though the base, instant healing spells are just that, the sustained or area of effect spells require a some preparation to create the seed before the spell begins. A Life-Binder can also plant seeds which will grant buffs to the target, typically through physical contact to ensure that the buff is granted to the correct person. Though they can also employ the use of seeds which will bloom into supplementary plants, typically needed to be sustained. History History: Takaya hails from Orias Village, located within Oberon Forest. The young boy spent many hours of his youth surrounded by the blooming nature of the forest; enamored by allure of it all. From the smallest plant to the largest animal, Takaya watched them all with reverence. His parents were druids in the village, and they often spoke with him about the delicate nature of life. From his parents view, though he didn't completely agree with it the young boy developed his own morality and decided that he didn't want to ever kill anyone, regardless of their crimes. That all life was sacred and to be held in reverence. He vowed to protect life, even if he would be harmed in the process. Around the age of fifteen, Takaya decided he wanted to experience the world. He had lived such a sheltered life within Oberon Forest and the world outside of the forest seemed so very intoxicating to him. He was addicted to the thought of just what he would be able to experience. Setting out, Takaya found himself desolate with the people outside of Orias Village. Almost immediately, he found himself beset by a band of criminals. He had little he could do to fend them off, and thus surrounding anything of value he had. He learned rather quickly to disguise his true personality, for fear of being so easily misled and betrayed by the darkness plaguing people. He found himself doing odd jobs as he traveled Fiore. He took time to change his attire, taking on a more reserved choice of clothing than something that would belie his more friendly and warm personality under a coat of cool distance. During this time he learned of the religious power known as the Church. Fearing what it would be capable of, and understanding it's political and military might he disagreed with their teaching in hushed whispers, never to reveal how he truly felt about them to a soul other than an animal or plant. Eventually he found himself at the doors of Lamia Scale, and joined in hopes that perhaps they were much better than the world he grew to know. |
