"Hey, it's not that I don't want to go- I was the one who told you about it. It's just that the big G M wants me to stay behind. Gotta do some work or something- I don't know man I just listen!" This voice came from the older brother, though no one would see the family resemblance. Tall, yellow, wet black nose and lazy face- This voice came from a magical dog creature. The two were standing in front of the guild, the young human boy with a hand on his face in annoyance.
"Jake, this is a four day trip. Four days! How am I suppose to survive the whole way there on my own?" With that, the older brother scoffed. "Finn, you'll be fine. Besides, you're a kick butt adventurer. No one will be able to hurt you if you just use your brain muscles and your body flexers." Their way of talking was weird, but it was one that was developed through years of near solitary within the Worth Woodsea.
"No Jake. Not of bandits or monsters or dragons or bearpigs. I'm talking about boredom. The silent killer, Jake." With that, Jake shrugged. There was nothing he could do about it, rules was rules. With a sigh and a quick, albeit light, kick to Jake's leg, Finn was off. The journey in mind was to Crocus, the Capitol. There was always a lot going on within Fiore, but the capitol seemed to draw a lot of attention in as of late. With rumors circulating of the mysterious man who killed dozens of rune knights, mages and people alike found refuge in what had to have been the safest place in all of Fiore. While Finn himself was not afraid, he still decided that the best bet would be to find himself where the most people was. It would be how he'd learn of new adventures, new fun times, and new things that awaited him.
