Salem awoke himself from a deep slumber after he had a rather strange dream. Something that Salem tended not to do much anymore, making the incident even more strange then it already was. But all that Salem could remember from the dream was a strange dog. This making it hard for Salem to actually grasp what the dream was suppose to mean. This frightening him as some believed dreams could be very powerful when it comes to magic. But none the less Salem figured that would be something he could take the time to wander about later. As for now he had best get himself up and out of bed to so that he could prepare himself for his daily task. Rising up from his bed Salem would proceed to get himself dressed, putting on his normal attire that somewhat made him look less of a Rune Knight though then again he was only a page and still at the very bottom of the rune knight totem pole. So he honestly could careless about the formalities at this current moment.

As always Salem would make sure to put on his special jewelry that was left to him by his deceased parents given to him on his seventeenth birthday by Oda. This being a big thing that took away from Salem’s appearance of being a Rune Knight. Once dressed Salem would proceed to take himself downstairs as he still occupied a room in the house of his foster father Oda. This being the same house Oda purchased back when he was first sent to the capital as a Rune Knight. He gave Salem the room at the upper end of the house that could only be reached by going up a flight of dark brown wooden stairs. Walking down the stairs Salem could already smell the deliciousness in the air that would be the product of Oda cooking a morning breakfast. Something that Zeda had come to enjoy especially every since he got back from boarding School three years ago. As cant remember the last time since he had been back from school that he Missed an morning breakfast from Oda. Especially since they started to come in complete handy ever since he started the Rune Knights.

Since even though Salem was only a Paige the training could get intense, though this could be understood as only the best of the best managed to move up the ranks of the Magic council. Something that Salem planned to accomplish soon enough. As with the help of Oda he was sure that he could become not only a great mage but a great Rune Knight as well. Reaching the bottom of the stairs Salem would be greeted by the giant smile of his adopted father Oda. Once smiling and Giving Salem a nod of acknowledgement, Oda would proceed to continue cooking the food that he war preparing on the Stove. Salem would take a few steps from the base of the stairs that led to his room and make his way into the kitchen of the house. Once making his way in he would proceed to take a seat at the Kitchen table as Oda put a nice sized plate in the front of him before he proceed to begin the cleaning process that was needed to be taken place after cooking breakfast.

Oda while cleaning up the dishes and the rest of the Kitchen would proceed to make small talk with Salem discussing his progress as a Paige in the Rune Knights. But they would soon be interrupted with a knock on the door. This knock would be the production of Seated Rune Knight Armin who was here to discuss some personal matter with Oda. Entering the house Oda and Armin would begin to have conversation at the table occupied by the eating Salem. In the midst of their conversation it would come to the attention of Oda and Salem that Armin had managed to miss place his sword and needed to locate it as soon as possible. Though he was having trouble replacing his steps, but was sure that the sword would be somewhere inside the Crocus Garden. Oda being Oda, would suggest that since Salem had some free time Armin could task him with finding the sword for him.

This being exactly what Armin decided to do, with the offer of a reward if found. Stating to Salem that he would most likely be here out the house for the next several hours if he would like to go and locate the sword and bring it back here to him. Something that Salem easily agreed to knowing that doing jobs for other higher Rune Knights would probably be the best way for him to start to get noticed and move threw the ranks of the Magic council. So once finishing his well cooked breakfast made by Oda, Salem would proceed to wash off his dishes and venture towards the Crocus Garden in hopes of finding the lost sword of Armin. Hoping that the task would not take up to much of his morning time, as he still had other task he must accomplish for Oda as well as other small Paige like duties that were required of him being a low level Paige of the Magic Council Rune Knights.

Reaching the garden in only short distance walk, as it was only up the street from the house of Oda and Salem. The search for the lost sword would be underway only moments after the master of the sword sent out for it. Salem having lived in crocus for a while now had been to the garden a few times and knew it quite well. This being very helpful to Salem, as he already knew the garden and had no trouble navigating it due to the fact that he had been to it countless times with Oda. Though for the first several moments of his search Salem would come up completely empty. This shocking him slightly as he did not expect it to be this hard locating a sword.

While still wandering around the garden Salem would soon come to hear the bark of a dog, that was steadily getting closer to him. Though from the tone of the voice Salem could easily tell that this dog was non aggressive and so paid it no mind at first until the bark was right up on him. This would be when Salem would turn to see a small black dog holding a sword that resembled the description of the one that Armin gave him. Soon as Salem took a step towards the dog it would take off dashing towards another section of the garden. But before managing to escape Salem would chase down the dog corning it until it drop the sword in its mouth jumping up as though it was trying to play with Salem. Paying it no mind Salem would pick the sword up on the ground and proceed to make his way back home. Though this would not be done before Salem would proceed to pat the dog on the head. One reaching his house Salem would proceed to pass over the Sword to its rightful owner and collect his reward.
