The First Martial Arts Tournament

Welcome to the first martial arts tournament in Fiore. The tournament focuses on fighters using their martial arts prowess to overwhelm their opponents and knock them out. Users are not capable of using any items or spells during the tournament. The items are taken in by the referees beforehand and spells are impossible to be used within the sphere of the tournament due to some powerful magic.

The location that has been selected for this tournament is the Baska Rock in Baska Town. We welcome anyone that is interested, regardless of their affiliations and crimes committed. The local Rune Knights stationed in Baska have been paid off to not cause any trouble and make any arrests as long as the participants with a criminal record do not cause any trouble in Baska while participating in the tournament.

In case you are interested to participate, you may apply here in this topic and pay the 25,000J participation fee. When you're registered and listed below you will receive an emblem that is needed to participate when the tournament begins. Besides that, a few days before the tournament begins the emblem will give you a notification in your latest thread with a warning to quickly wrap up whatever it is that you're doing cause the emblem will automatically teleport you to Baska on the day of the tournament.

EXTRA NOTES:

The tournament will either have 16 slots or 8 slots, anything in between will result into anyone signing up after the 8th person being unable to attend the tournament and tournament turning into 8 slots.
Each participant must pay a 25,000J participation fee, this can be gathered by completing a single D-rank mission. The numbers are not set in stone yet but about 80% will go the winner of the tournament and 20% will go to the second place.
In case both participants have fought well they shall both receive a reward.
The winner will always receive more SP than the loser. The first round results into +2 SP for a win, each following round grants one point extra for a win.
Not putting up a fight or not showing up will result into no SP being granted to both the loser and the winner. Besides that the person that did not show up or put a fight will not able to participate in the following three martial arts tournaments.
Items will all be taken away from the user during the tournament. Magic will be disabled from being used to due a powerful magic casted on the area.
The user wins a battle if they have managed to knock out their opponent either via striking a vital spot (STR must be at least above half of the opponent's END for vital strikes to result into a KO), or by dropping down the opponents END entirely by delivering enough strikes.
Each participant must reply within 24 hours otherwise they will be disqualified from the tournament. In most cases the user receives no SP and Fame/Infamy after being disqualified.
Dragon Slayers battling each other during the tournament won't count towards the Dragon Emperor event.
Races may use their racial perks as long as it doesn't require mana (i.e. Vampyre's Blood Magic and Lycan's Transformation).
