Personal Name: Velouria Valentina Laurent ベロア バレンティーナ Age: 18 Gender: Female Class: Sorcerer Rank: B-rank Guild: None Tattoo: Middle of Back Face: Velouria - Fire Emblem Fates Appearance Height: 67 in. Weight: 46 kg. Hair: White Eyes: Hazel Overall: Velouria is a young woman of lithe build. Her most common piece of clothing is the cloak she wears, given to her by her Father. It's made of finely woven fabrics; red on the outside and white on the inside. The edges are sewn with lacey white designs. Her clothing hails from an older era, with tall leather cuffed boots over black leggings. A matching corset covers her midsection, with a black string necklace around her neck. Gloves covers both of her hands. Velouria's hair falls down past her shoulders, a bright and vibrant white in looks with a single patch of black running along her bangs. It's most frequently pulled back into a ponytail, braided down along one neck, or left free and long. In a more formal light, Velouria prefers to wear gowns and lots of shiny jewelry. Extra: Black patch of hair on bangs. Personality Personality: Velouria is a girl of few words; literally. Most commonly found off in the secluded parts of the area, she prefers time spent alone as opposed to that with others, though neither are denied. In life, she has a pretty straight-forward way of thinking; if you want something, you should take it. If you dislike it, you should break it. She values freedom and strength over all else, and becomes pretty aggressive when she feels it's threatened. Her motives can be seen as odd, and her ways of handling situations can be very impractical or even reckless. The steps taken to complete tasks are irrelevant if it means the task will be completed. Though Velouria doesn't actively seek to do harm. Nor does she even seek the well-being of others. Rather she wants to do things according to her own terms, and live the way she so sees fit. Opposition to that is opposition to freedom, and must be stopped. With this view, she comes into constant strife with authorities, and can even be rough in making relationships. Those that can put up with her blunt and sometimes sly attitude gain an ally with quite the dry sense of humor. Velouria's phlegmatic apathy causes her constant bouts of tiredness. She takes things slow and leisurely, and things that typically require heavy amounts of effort without much reward in the end are against her likes, no matter how severe the situation (battling enemies, important choices, ect.). Though despite her lethargy, she's self-assured in herself and her choices almost to the degree of overconfidence. Her confidence does not stretch too much into her practical thinking though. Veloria abandons logic for her instincts, and what she feels true to her heart will be her driving factor. Likes:

Magic Name: First Gem Fāsutojemu | ファーストジェム Magic Element: Nature Magic Description: First Gem is a crystal magic that gives the caster control of crystals, and allows the user to create, shape, and utilize them to their fullest extent. This is typically achieved through wielding control of nearby crystals or ones in the ground, or condensing the caster's mana into a bright purple and blue crystal. They can be used for feats such as fabricating defenses and structures, bending the shape of crystals for offensive use, or the creation of crystal-based objects. This also allows for self-buffing strength spells as well as supplementary spells.
History History: Velouria's birth was not harbinged by gifts and parties, by the sights of loved one from far away lands gathered for a momentous occasion. Her birth was brought upon by a fortune teller's prediction, and sermons that the abbot of the great Lotus Order would bear to his wife a daughter after many fruitless efforts. Never once had a woman lead the Lotus, and her father refused to make any exceptions with his own spawn. None could know that he had a daughter. The fortune teller was executed, and Velouria was kept hidden away from the eyes of the church. To everyone else, the child had failed to come. Her mother, a Prophet of the Lotus with a strange knack for creating vibrant and beautiful purple crystals out of seemingly nothing, would have nothing of it. For her daughter to be locked away for all of her days? Taking Velouria, her mother fled from the cult and into the forests. There, she raised Velouria under the radar of the church until she was a young child, just barely able to fathom the world around her. It was one night where they were sleeping near the reeds the cult descended upon them. Her mother's death was swift, and Velouria was left with the horrifying memory of her mother's dead body. There, she was dragged back into her father's cult. Determined to make use of his daughter, her father forced her to take up arms as his Inquisitor, rooting out those who'd oppose him or his beliefs, and bring them to their knees. Together they would travel, villages to villages, leaving with new cult members and dead bodies in their wake. Few in the cult were apprehended, though strangely enough none remained alive long enough after capture to tell the tales of their comerades. They'd suddenly convulsed, and lay lifeless. Years went on, and Velouria became the cult's most feared fighter, reknown for her fabled crystaline-fashioned weapons she'd use to cleave down her enemies. Until one day, the abbot awoke to find that overnight, the entire cult he'd spent years traveling and forming had all been butchered by none other than his own daughter. Veloruia cut down her father, and with the debt to her mother finally paid in blood, the young woman chose to spend the remainder of her days wandering. Perhaps she'd find new purpose out in the world around her. |
