Svetlana's hair was short but that did not make her a tomboy, she kept them short because growing long hair could get in her way when fighting. For her usual clothing, Svetlana wore short pants and corset-like shirt with long-sleeves, she also wore a coat with long sleeves and fur collar additional with a pair of boots. She might be playful and flirtatious but when it comes about fighting or protecting someone she consider as friends from the enemies? These poor sods better start praying, because her title and prowess as "The Lioness" is no jest." - A veteran soldier in Fiore army who once fought alongside with Svetlana. At the first glance, Svetlana had a mysterious air around her. She was alluring, quiet and distant from others. In truth, Svetlana was quite warm-hearted, calm and laid-back when she had no jobs or mission to do. Svetlana always had her smile ready even though to strangers or someone she barely knew, she was genuinely friendly but not talkative type. Svetlana was a type of woman that kept her appearance and behaved ladylike, she mostly talked to people with polite manners and courtesy. Altough she was from a rich family, Svetlana did not show any sign of arrogance or haughty yet she remained humble of her origins. Beneath the quiet and professional female adventurer hid a mischievous side of hers, Svetlana enjoyed being playful around, having fun and even involved in pranks. Sometimes whenever she saw some pretty boys or handsome men, she could spent her all day long by simply teasing or flirting with them. Svetlana was also cooperative, she can work alongside with others even though they might be her rivals. Although she was from a rich family, Svetlana was also a former servicewoman in the Fiore military forces back when she was young. She was disciplined, hardened and steadfast, Svetlana knew what was right or wrong thus she obeyed the laws of Fiore as well as other kingdoms. Even when under pressure or a serious battle, Svetlana remained calm and often coordinate her attack or tactics against her enemies. In the face of battle, Svetlana was brave and never back down from a fight, thus she enjoyed a good fight or something that was worth fighting for. Whenever tension arose or an argument happened between her friends, Svetlana would be the first to break them away from fighting with each other and tried to reason with them. She was also a person who treated with elderly people and children with kindness and affection. Despite she was a friendly person, Svetlana had flaws like any other rest of individuals. Beneath a ladylike adventurer, she could be rather bloodthirsty when it came about fighting against dark mages or any other vicious enemies, Svetlana was brutal and ferocious in combat thus she would injure or even kill an enemy with a single dark smile across her face. She also enjoyed brawls in taverns and bars as well, a few punches upon drunk hooligans and sent them thrasing around could satisfy her bloodlust. With great confidence in her fighting ability, Svetlana had no problems by taunting her opponent by a simple gesture; come and get me. As mentioned about her calmness and patience, Svetlana could blow to her top if someone has crossed her line or gone too far when dealing with her. Once she flew in rage, it took few people to hold her before someone got hurt. Whenever situation was not according to her plan, Svetlana would lose her composure and became reckless. Although anything that made things dire, Svetlana had a sense of levity and sarcasm. Flaws could be her weakness but Svetlana was a kind individual who did not wish to hurt innocent people. If an innocent individual or animals was caught in the battle, Svetlana would rather risk her life to save other even it meant an end to her life. Svetlana was fond of domestic and some wild animals, she had a loyal dog and a horse which followed her for years. Recently Svetlana had a few months old baby Wyvern which was under her care. Because she was still suffered the loss of someone she cared for, Svetlana could understand the pain thus she would not take any chances to lose someone she cared for. Sometimes Svetlana could wandered lost deeply in her mind, she needed to be alone whenever she remembered anything that emotionally affected her. For her leisure, Svetlana also enjoyed chess, reading Sorcerer Magazine or history tomes, she even went for shopping to find any Heart Kreuz brand clothing. Magic Magic Name: None Magic Element: None Magic Description: None History History: Early Life Svetlana was born in Magnolia Town as the only child to Nicholas Lionborn and Cesca Narven. Nicholas was a decorated officer in the Fiore military while Cesca was a veteran mage of Blue Pegasus. As she was a child, Svetlana was given the best education and tutors that her parents could offer. Because the Lionborn was a rich family, Svetlana was taught about manners and courtesy. Although she was just a child, Svetlana showed interest in swordsmanship as she witnessed her father practiced all day with his subordinates. She decided of what kind of person she should be; a strong swordswoman who pledged her blade to defend the helpless. Navy Career As she grew up as a young teenager, Svetlana was wooed by many male mages from Blue Pegasus much to her father's annoyance and anger thus he insisted her to get enlisted into army. After she reached to a certain age, Svetlana joined the navy of Fiore and spent her time by catching pirates at sea or preventing smuggling at Hargeon Town. Due to her fighting capabilities, Svetlana was transferred to a rather special unit of Fiore military forces which concerned about protecting Fiore from internal and external threats. Due to her new occupation, Svetlana operated outside of Fiore so she traveled around from places to places, separated from her parents. Months to years, Svetlana did not see her parents although she often exchanged letters with them. Mission In Bosco Svetlana received a report that a small group of insurrectionists planned to instigate a war between Fiore and Bosco, so she was sent to Bosco along with Eric, a Blue Pegasus mage and a childhood friend of Svetlana. Unlike any other Blue Pegasus male mages she knew, Eric was kind-hearted and gentle thus Svetlana took a liking and grew fond of him. In the midst of the mission, Svetlana and Eric managed to caught up thus fought with the insurrectionists. Despite their plans were foiled, the insurrectionists escaped and left a lot of innocent lives perished which devastated Svetlana deeply. The mission became a personal vengeance and Svetlana was obsessed of taking down the insurrectionists. Both Svetlana and Eric chased the insurrectionists into the heart of Fiore and with the help of other mages from legal guilds, Svetlana managed to defeat the insurrectionists but with a cost of Eric's life, he sacrificed himself so Svetlana could delivered her final blow on the insurrectionists' leader. After the insurrectionists and the leader was sent to prison, Eric's death effected Svetlana deeply. She did not attended the funeral because she was ashamed to faced with the Blue Pegasus mages who considered Eric as their best friend and comrade. Pilgrimage After the mission was successful, Svetlana submitted her letter of resignation to the army and left Fiore without leaving any messages even to her parents. Svetlana ventured forward to the outside to seek her atonement, she traveled from kingdoms to kingdoms and offer help to those who needed it. She arrived at Sin and stayed there, Svetlana met with Gihei, an old but wise monk and she became her pupil, Svetlana sought enlightment from him. Returning Home After three years in Sin, Svetlana decided to return home and she was granted a permission to leave by her teacher. Traveling by sea, Svetlana arrived at the port of Hargeon Town and she decided to return to Magnolia Town. Reference: N/A |
