Personality Personality: Auberon is a rather adventurous soul, craving exploration to satisfy his never-ending curiosity. Born from a desire to sail the seas and conquer new land, his ambitions to see the unseen have driven him far in life. Once he hears tale of a hidden temple or some kind of treasure, his eyes light up and he's instantly dead-set and focused on finding that thing or seeing that sight. To him, nothing is better than laying down on an unexplored beach and just enjoying the raw and pure nature. People would say that Auberon is stubborn and tenacious. Once his eyes are set on something, he'll get it one way or another, better or for worse that thing he desires will eventually be his. Nothing is off limits for him to talk about, his openness about everything is one of the things that makes his stories interesting, Auberon doesn't spare the details. Salt water runs through Auberon's heart of gold. A maritime man who enjoys all things ocean, he has that hospitality and kindness known to small fishing villages. He strives to be as kind as possible, helping people with any problem they appear to have. People are sometimes unsettled by his friendless and tendencies to chat up random strangers as if having known them for ages. Some people aren't a fan of his lack of minding his own business, but others are enamored by his familiar yet foreign mannerisms. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Storm Surge Magic Element: Electricity Magic Description: Auberon's Magic is focused around a blue tinted electricity that often has a nautical or oceanic flair. His offensive spells are generally quick melee based punches that strike fast and hard. Generally, his electricity is imbued within his arms and delivered upon contact along with other desired spells. Combos are something that Auberon loves to pull off, his flashy magic making his combat very aesthetically pleasing. Before battle, Auberon will most likely invigorate himself with a self buff that would increase either strength, or endurance. A fault in this magic is that it has little in the way of defenses or ranged attacks. If necessary, Auberon could pull off a supplementary spell, like using his electricity to charge something. History History: Born in a small and poor fishing village, Auberon oftenly went hungry. There was little to do besides explore the glacial flats and thick boreal forest. His mother was a baker and father a fisherman, an unlikely but fitting pair, as described by every other villager. Just because they were poor didn't mean he had a bad childhood. Generally, Auberon was a gleeful kid, enjoying spending time adventuring with his friends generally wherever the northern wilderness yielded to them. If not in the wilderness, upon reaching adolescence, he was usually partying and getting drunk, ignoring his studies just a bit too much according to his mother. Acedemia wasn't his strong suit, but english was his favorite subject by far. The least favorite subject of his was math, it just seemed unnecessary. Their school was small, only having one teacher that taught every subject to different people at once. Unfortunately, this meant it was a little more difficult for him than if he had gone to some fancy school on the mainland. One foggy morning, the whole town was startled awake by a sudden crashing sound. Already awake for nefarious reasons, Auberon rushed out to see what the cause was. The fog made him trip over a few loose roots, but he could clearly see why the noise was so loud upon reaching the sand dunes. A large boat had run ashore. Worried about potential casualties or injured sailors, he scouted the area to see if anybody had crawled or tried to swim ashore. There was nobody around, and from the sound of it, there was nobody aboard either. Stacking a few lobster traps on top of each other, Auberon made a make-shift stairway on which he climbed shakily. From the looks of it, the ship appeared to be a cargo one. Curious to see what he could plunder from the ship, the youth descended into the hull. Inside, it was pitch black besides a soft blue glow. The pattern of light was similar to the refraction underwater, the light show ethereal. The source was an aqua green orb, glowing atop a marble pedestal. Confused, he approached the orb with caution. He could feel the orb tugging at his soul, it was calling out to him like the song of a siren, but silent all the same. As soon as his hand touched the orb, he felt electricity in the air while a salty sensation filled his mouth. Suddenly, the ship's existence wavered before abruptly blinking out of reality, leaving Auberon to fall into the salt water currents. The cold water was like pinpricks on his body, which screamed at him to get out of the water. Thankfully, the youth was an excellent swimmer that was able to make it back to shore, where a crowd had gathered and had witnessed the strange scene. His mother was the first to ask questions, but instead, Auberon simply held up his arm on which electricity crackled. The villagers were not very used to the idea of magic. They knew it to exist, but had never encountered it in their busy lives. Generally, magic was something on the mainland, the villagers too busy to concern themselves. They were intrigued, but also excited. Of course they knew of tales involving mages becoming rich upon joining a guild. Honestly, the town was a bit too eager to send Auberon off to be the town breadwinner, but the new mage didn't mind in the slightest, as he might as well use his newfound powers for good. His mother made him wait a few years before sending him off, but when she was sure of his capabilities, the young man took the nearest boat and sailed to the romantic port town of Hargeon.
