Tugging onto the hood of his clothing, he brought it over to his face, concealing his features while he proceeded onwards until he stumbled upon a quest board. Golden hues quickly glanced over the board and noticed how mages were beginning to take the sheets away one by one, until there was nothing left but a single piece of paper pinned against the wooden board. Walking over, he began to read over the lines written on the paper with precision and grace, as if the write spent a good ounce of their time to outline but a simple request, which was to recruit some young people as guards. Unsure whether or not he should take upon the quest, King contemplated, standing in front of the board with his index finger rubbing against his chin.

She was wearing a medium light blue dress with frills of white on the bottom of the dress and at the end of her short sleeves. It had a white clothing ribbon and a bow in the back, the front part of it had a long backed U shape cut as her medium sized chest was somewhat revealing yet not as much as a V-shape dress would show. ‘’I guess I should go look for a quest or something.’’ she spoke to herself softly as she blinks a couple of times. Softly her hand would press against the green grass of Summer to push herself up. Doing so and after standing up straight, she would fix her hair so her bangs weren’t annoying her - in front of her face. Her hips would sway as she went towards the quest board, her hair would move left and right as some strands of hair would move wildly due to the wind. Her dress shoes in which were black and flats would make no noise as she walked forward. Under her shoes were thigh white socks with lace by her thighs. Softly she hummed as she walked towards the board in which didn't feel so far away. As Arisa got there she saw someone else there. A guy she never really seen before. 'Wonder if he's trouble or just looking for a quest like me...' she wondered softly as her eyebrow would lift up a little in thought. She'd continue to go forward and then looked at what was left on the board for now. Arisa wasn't use to really engaging into a conversation with people from here like she was long ago so she left the stranger alone as she read over the quest paper.

It was a rather peculiar appearance though, by all means, he didn’t mean it as a terrible way as he wondered if the woman might even be from this country for he had never seen one like this before. The dark-haired girl continued to walk in his direction and perhaps, she might be searching for a quest and it was likely that she would be a mage as well. The girl stood beside him, without saying any word and King would return his gaze back towards the quest board before he pulled out the remaining piece of paper from the board.
”This is the only one remaining, if you’re searching for a quest.”
The white haired mage raised up the paper that he had firmly clutched in his hands and waved it by his side.
”Would you, perhaps, like to go on a mission together, mademoiselle?”

Peeping into a nearby store, he would call over anyone nearest to him and asked the person if they might know where the South Gate Park was. Fortunately, the person was a citizen of Magnolia and gave him directions which was to follow straight down the road. Hmm, pretty easy, he thought to himself. Being a foreigner, he had no idea how the roads work and which part leads to what location and even though, he may have a map of Fiore hidden underneath his clothing, he was aware of himself that he lacked the knowledge to use it properly.
”So, what’s your name? You don’t look like you’re from around here, ma’am.”

If this told the detail of what needed to be done then why do they need to go see him? Were they to listen to more details that this paper that she held didn’t have? The man asked her name in which she learned that the ‘Fiore’ name she was given was not really her name as her last name was real, but not the first. Which name should she even give him? ‘’Arisa. Yours?’’ she would question as her eyebrow would cock up in question, looking into his jeweled eyes as they walked. People spoke her name probably different than it was supposed to, but she didn't really wish to judge. Her far-sigh would make sure she wouldn’t trip as she paid attention to both him and where she was going. 317

The young man bore her a light smile, revealing a bit of his dimples on his cheeks before he turned to face forward, gazing beyond the horizon and the dense trees that grew in a distance. It was a rather strange name honestly, or one could say the same. His first name was something else although he preferred if people wouldn’t call him that, not that he would ever mention it to someone else. The late afternoon was clear and bright, with a gentle breeze blowing through the vicinity of Magnolia, cooling the summer heat. The hollows of his clothing billowed along with the rhythm of the harsh gales as they walked towards their destination in silence. Beneath the linings of his worn soles was the sound of scattering, most notably tiny mounds of pebble and dirt that filtered through the spaces in his steps.
”Where’re you from?”
His voice pierced through the silence that reigned supreme within the area, while his eyes continued to observe his surroundings. He noticed how Arisa did not respond to his statement of her not being from Fiore. Assuming she was from a different country, he would direct the question to her. It was then he realised how he had been meeting beautiful women since he had arrived Magnolia and wondered if he should just remain in the town just for the sake of meeting gorgeous ladies. Fiore is a blessed country, isn’t it?, he thought.

It didn’t take them long to discover Captain Devon. After all, he stood out much more than the other people, considering how he was clad in armour and helmet. As they approached the man, he didn’t even bother to ask for their names nor introduce himself but instead, ordered them to work right away. King was quite disappointed, not that it was anything important and he couldn’t help but stifle a chuckle to himself at the last remark that the captain made.
”I think working separately might be the best option to get more people. I’ll handle the ones on this side.”
A small smile tugged upon the corner of her lips as he handed her over a piece of blank paper and pen for her to note down the names and took the rest for himself as he began to walk towards the nearest crowd. Despite how he wanted to get to know more about the woman, Arisa seemed like a secluded person who wouldn’t give out her details to anyone she meets, which is why King chose not to pry too hard and gave her some space. His curiosity for the woman was piqued since the moment he met her, for she was a rather unique one after all. King proceeded towards the group of people loitering near the park and they seemed to a bunch of young adolescents, probably a couple of years younger than him giggling and laughing amongst each other.
"Hello, boys and girls."
He began, with a swift movement of his fingers through his silver hair, followed by a smirk. With just a few simple motions, he was aware that the girls would already have their eyes laid on him and they were squealing from his appearance, much to the disappointment of the young boys beside them. "Are any of you interested in becoming a guard? Or just joining to become knights?" With his eyebrows raised, he waited for a response. The teenagers quickly exchanged sceptical looks between each other, unsure how they were supposed to answer. A sigh escaped his lips and it was just then a boy from the back of the group raised his him. He seemed to be shy to admit that he was interested in these sort of areas but King would assure him with a light smile and approached him.
"Would you care to fill our your name and details here?"
It was just due to this boy that the rest of the teenagers began to get interested in the deal. They flooded him with all sorts of questions and since he had no idea about these things, he would just direct them towards Captian Devon who would fill them with the rest of the details. It wasn't that hard for him to attract attention from the people. Even without him asking the townsfolk nearby, some would just approach him, questioning if he was here to take a survey or just looking around as a tourist. Then, he would explain how he is recruiting some youngsters into the guard list. After he was done, he would stare beyond him and noticed how Arisa had completed her part as well and then together, they would hand over the reports over to the captain. As much as he didn't wish to part ways a beautiful woman, he had to bid farewell to Arisa and wished that he might be able to meet her again.
King found himself staring up at the sky once again, while he sat himself at one of the vacant benches located inside the park. Captain Devon was still on patrol around the area and now that he had nothing else to do, he felt pretty bored until he decided that he should go out for a drink and fool around with some ladies to celebrate the accomplishment of another mission and a new discovery of a beautiful lady. What a stupid reason, he thought to himself, and knew that he was just making it up so that he could get himself wasted at a pub. It was definitely going to be a long night.

Arisa would see some bulky dude with muscles like what a god would have, but a face of a monkey. He looked pissed and annoyed for some reason - so why not start with him? Slowly her steps were gentle against the ground like some feather-footing. She stood in front of him and bent down a little to look towards him. ‘’What’s wrong dear sir?’’ she spoke in a rather soothing soft tone that was sweet like innocent sugar. She was able to change her attitude like that, it wasn’t out of practice but because it was between the two selves that excited her. It just happens. The man grumbled as he glared at him, looking up at her. ‘’Go away. Not in the mood. The stupid police did god damn nothing when my wife got robbed. What shit!’’ he ranted on as she would then stand tall, hand against her chin in a thinking position. ‘’Why not join them and make a difference!? You could beat that guy up who robs wives and those people who harm. If you have any bad record, they’ll still take you in - give you a second chance.’’ she would say with a smile. He was really thinking - it was easy to tell. He nodded a couple times and smirked. ‘’Yea...You’re right! And it’d help pay for things for my love.’’ he would say and then laughed. He stood up straight - being taller than her, making Arisa step back and look up smiling nervously. ‘’Haha! Thanks. I’ll never forget.’’ he reported as he went off after giving his info to her. ‘’Yea.~ No problem.’’. ‘That’s one.’ she would think.
She would walk around once again to look for more people. Her eyes would then meet another guy who was scrawny and looked as if he had some rough patches - including a need for a shower. ''Hello sir, would you be interested in signing up for the Force of Justice? Kic-'' she was about to finish, but the guy laughed and then glared with some grumpy face. ''Lady. That's a waste of my time. I could just drink all day and win my money gambling. Get the hell out of here with that.'' he spoke like some old man would towards kids getting off his lawn. She would do so even though a part of her wanted to beat the living crap out of him. After him, she got several other signatures. After those, the guy who laughed in her face came back with a nervous face. ''Yo lady!... Does it actually pay? And help people like me... change?'' he spoke rather sad, filled with sorrow and such. ''Yes! It does. Gives second chances, changes people for the good and kick bad people's asses.'' she would say, turning to him and handed him the forms/paper to sign. He nods, signs and then Arisa would wave goodbye to him, going towards King as she was done. After he reported it, she would see the client arrive to grab the reports. He smiled satisfied and gave the two the awards. With that Arisa would say her farewell to King and left, wondering if they'd meet again. 749 (2158 total)
