Seira brought all the belongings back to the inn and set them up so she could enjoy them right away. The bed was placed into the corner of the room, and the feeding bowls right beside it. Seira filled them up and made sure the place was warm and cozy. She planned on leaving the house again, but Espeon was most likely not going to follow. She curled up inside her house and decided to take a nap, which was just fine with the vampire. When Seira left the house again, she decided to look around for potential jobs she could do. There was a request board in Magnolia that contained flyers with mission informations for wandering wizards such as herself and she decided to look it up to see what her options were. She eventually chose to pick up a flyer that was put there by Father Jerad, a young but very popular priest who was known to be caring and also quite talented; he was one of the few young men who were allowed to take charge of a local church, but it seemed as tho he was struggling with something and needed help. When Seira arrived at the cathedral, she was greeted by Father Jerad who also explained the situation to her. “I’m glad that you are here. We’ve been experiencing a big wave of the flu lately, with the temperatures dropping, seasonal diseases will be on their way again. As you can see, there are a lot of sick people here and I need your assistance with distributing the medicine to them, so everyone can have something.”
Seira wasn’t exactly sure if she could get common diseases like the flu anyways, now that she was a vampire, but decided to help out anyways. She walked around with a basket that contained the medicine and distributed it fairly to everyone, starting with children and old people. Doing that, she naturally came into contact with most of them so she decided to wear a mouth mask for hygienic reasons. The medicine had either be taken through the mouth or injected, which is why many people needed help. Seira spent a few hours inside the cathedral, helping out with distributing medicine, but also making tea for the ill people. It’s been awhile since she had done something good and pure like this, but it felt good and she was happy with the work. The patients, although most of them were weak, were friendly and welcoming and Seira began to wonder how so many people could have gotten such a bad flu after all — the weather didn’t even feel that cold yet. After completing her job, she returned to Father Jerad’s side, who offered her some of the medicine as well. He said it was best to prepare in case she would be getting sick as well, and Seira took the medicine without questioning (it was always good to be prepared, just in case) before taking her reward and leaving the cathedral to return home.
