Personal Name: Laito Decesare Age: Eighteen Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight Class: Shaman Rank: D-rank Guild: Guildless Tattoo: Right Arm - Firebrick Face: Jaden Yuki // Yu-Gi-Oh GX Appearance Height: 5'11 Weight: 156lbs Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Overall: Laito's usual outfit consists of standard blue jeans with red and black boots, which fit and cut off at the middle of his shins. He wears a red jack unbuttoned, and a black shirt underneath. His brown eyes are positioned directly beneath the bangs of the layer closest to his face. After learning to use magic, Laito's eyes would change in color, taking on a ghostly green hue at the iris, the other an amber glow. However, traditionally speaking. They are usually brown. Laito, carries his things around in a red backpack, though it's mostly left behind at his temporary residencies unless he's caught traveling at the time. Extra: Heterochromia Personality Personality: Laito is generally courteous to others he meets, being the lax individual he is. He would rather treat people like they have common sense, even if they stand in his way. Thus, many people who would hurt him or his friends typically make note of how interesting he is. The way he talks of his goals, you'd think the slightest thing might flip him to the dark side; which he doesn’t argue is a possibility. Though he has good intentions, Laito will do anything if it looks like it could do more good than bad. He’s a nice guy, so he isn’t privy to murder, but if he had to make a point? Well, all men have to make points sometime. Not only that, but having matured faster than others, Laito disregarded much of his own well-being, and with it, his mental stability. Instead he relied on perseverance and charisma to carry him as far as he did. When the time arose, the mage was more than just a boy. He was a harbinger of justice-- or so he liked to believe. Laito knew how to make a clock tick for him, and vice versa. The clock knew how he would move to race it's short hand. The sorcerer was always striving to save others before their time could run out. Sadly, when in a world as awful as this. You can't save everybody. Something that is still kind of foreign to the heroe's mind. Leaving others behind? Goes against his deepest beliefs. Laito hated poverty. So it's quite possible that his pursuit of justice came from that hate, so in a way. He's a warrior driven by dark feelings. Animosity is his clarity. He'd never admit to it, but it's very obvious to those who can read people. In fact, he is always wearing an aura of denial. It's his greatest negative. Thankfully, such a concept can't be seen in physical form. The magician never liked the word impossible. You could almost say Laito is a bit of a dreamer; so such a word is right opposite to what defines his core. He doesn’t count logic into all things, even if he probably should, a dreamer isn't someone who relies on science and fact. Sometimes hope is a better alternative, but at the same time, it also means Laito rides his attacks on faith and isn't as calculated as other warriors. Laito isn’t lazy as many would probably think, he's often times out in natural world. He’s relaxed, he doesn't get shaken much. At peace and with harmony towards the earth surrounding himself grants him a perspective most fail to obtain. Even though he is just a young adult, he is a beacon for many onlookers. A role model for young children. Which is kind of hard to believe… Seeing is how he himself looks to others as role models. Nonetheless, Laito is a Decesare and it’s an obligation he instills on himself to protect the weak and fight off the wicked forces of the natural world. As not everyone is the same within his family, Laito is a loner-- walking a nomadic life. Things can sometimes make him hesitate, and it’s always been as such. That isn't to say he backs down from challenges as they present themselves. The young man strives to create a perfect world by means of his own rendition. He believes in equality, and of setting wrongs into rights. By means of force if necessary. Likes:

Laito is a Shaman so his abilities have a pretty definitive scope, which take from the natural world surrounding himself. ⇨ Debuff x1 ⇨ Supplementary x1 ⇨ Self-Buff Endurance x2 ⇨ Offensive x2 History History: The truth is, not everyone gets the easy life. Only those who haven't can agree. Laito had everything in his life, all of the love from parents and peers. However, what do you do when everyone you ever know just disappears? That was the case for young Laito Decesare, heir to a family more than just a little, "well off," he spent the rest of his youth trying to figure out what must have happened. His mind continues to draw a blank. You see, on the morning of October 13th, a friday, Laito recieved news which would haunt him to the grave. The entire town had went missing, and he was forced to scavenge by himself for three weeks until travelling merchants came back through-- seeking trade and buisness. The neighboring cities couldn't determine where the residents had gone. So the blame was never to be placed upon anyone, much to Laito's young stress and frustrations. The mayor of a small village bordering a mountain was Laito's godfather. He took the kid in, and told him that whatever happened, justice would follow. Words that became the root of the boy's core. He prayed that justice might do him a favor just this once, and reveal a culprit in time. It never did. The bodies turned up two years later, in a pit. A mass grave. Laito's sister, his mother, and his father were among hundreds. The information crushed him. Still no evidence to reveal why they were left there. He thought the crush would never leave his mind. Then, an epiphany later, it rebuilt him. He didn't appear phased much more after his grieving ended. However, a deeper resentment for killers, evil wizards, and more had surfaced under his thoughts. He knew there was wickedness out there, and that somehow... Someway... Someone had executed his home. He continues to be plagued with questions concerning his own survival, the burial ground, and the situation in general. Wondering if it meant anything at all for him to be alive, breathing; without his family. He has accepted that he'll probably never know. But he never accepts that he couldn't save them, even though the details of the event were never known to anyone-- himself included. Somewhere in his late teenage years, the gift of magic was granted to him in a desperate attempt at saving a child. His talent was headlined. The mage became revered by his godfather and by the officials of the mountain town, no time at all passed before he was sent to schooling for it. However, feeling a pit of emptiness there, he sent word to his adoptive father. He would be quitting school for something much richer. He departed at dawn, and by daybreak was registered a guildless mage. On his eighteenth birthday. He hopes to gain great wisdom in his travels. Reference: N/A |
