Syliph strolled up the hill, night lay on marigold like a thick blanket. No moon hung in the sky like a opalescent sphere, only darkness and gray clouds hung in the air. Syliph had become acutely aware of the figure who had begun to follow him in the past weeks, he was getting tired of his stalkers, they hung in the darkness, looming over him, and when he’d turn around to swipe at them, they’d be gone, and Syliph would look like a fool, something you shouldn’t look like while operating in a dark guild, it was just bad taste.
the theater sat atop the hill, in all its glowing beauty, if you were to look from the town to the theater, one might mistake it for being the moon in all its brightness. Some of the leads intelligent people might consider it to be the sun before realizing what time it happened to be.

A stick cracked behind Syliph, who swung in a circle so quickly, nothing would have been able to escape his eyes, but yet it did, Syliph only managed to see a glimpse of a twirling dress glitter between some trees, someone was hiding. “COME OUT” He yelled at the top of his lungs. No movement. He tried again, still quiet. Storming over to the forested area he peered into the blackness, barely using any magic to illuminate the the darkness, peering harder he saw a figure move quietly in the near distance. Breaking into a sprint he tackled the unknown figure who fell with a feminine Yelp. ”For goodness sake, please get off me, I’m not trying to kill you, think of me as a messenger.” the woman said. Now in the light of the theater he could see her more clearly. She was tan skinned with long golden-brown hair that cascade over her shoulders in long waves. Her dress seemed to shift colors every time she moved, yellow to green, blue to purple, red to white, it had no pattern, she was ever changing. ”no one ever chooses to warn me so why would you?” Syliph asked. The lady simple responded that she was a messenger sent to warn him of his own gods. ”What’s wrong with the zodiac gods?” he pushed further. The woman ran her hands together awkwardly, ”My goddess, Nymphae, I am one of her supreme priestesses, Elestia. Nymphae was not her original name, it was originally Ophicus, the thirteenth sign of the zodiac. She was born and fell to earth just like the rest of them, but after years of trying to convince them to think as a whole and trying to convince them war wasn’t the best option at the time, she turned and left. Unfortunately, by her own, the zodiac goddess couldn’t do anything, so she created an ancient ritual known as untethering, and with that she broke herself from her zodiac ties, swinging through the emptiness of the void, she was able to find her purpose again, protecting the small, which included the earth, so she took a new name, Nymphae, and attained new followers, when Nymphae heard there was a new guardian she sent me to warn you of their ignorance, she hopes you find her at one point and talk. But I most go, goodbye.” Elestia stood and left.
Syliph sat in shock for a few moments but quickly got back to his feet and left towards the theater, he should probably get some work done, he would consider talking to Nymphae later, he was currently very busy.

Syliph stepped into the main theater, still a little shook from the events that had just occurred, it had been an interesting experience, but now he had one more figure who had let him be, something he was rather thankful for, he was tired of people watching him. He had just gotten over Ameliae not watching him, and she had been one terrible stalker, following him everywhere, giving him haunting nightmares, taunting him with revenge, it had been a truly terrible experience.

The lobby was full,
Like always, with many guests, some were actors, some were students from other towns coming to Marigold’s famous theater, where many students aspired to be after they graduated, unfortunately for them this was not exactly the safest place to work, and 3/10 of them would die, 2/10 would have to flee, 4/10 wouldn’t make it in this kind of business, and that lucky one person would have what it took to make it big in the Marigold theater. A tap on his shoulder grabbed his attention, one of the actors nudged his head towards the far hall, where what looked like Rebecca’s back was walking down. With quick movements Syliph spun through the maze like crowd and down the empty hallway. It had been used as office and storage space, but soon after Jessica Day’s dissapearnce it was shut down, mainly because like any actor, one had made a superstitious rumor and all of the others nagged and forced there ways into another room, and the place had become nothing but an empty hallway with plans for removal.

Rebecca stood outside Jessica’s old room, how cliché. Breaking into a mini jog he ran up to her, waiting for her to begin, she was always the one who talked first, mainly because she was always busy. ”As you’re probably very aware, Alice Nightingale is more of my mother than master, she stepped in when my original parents died, so I owe her a many a good thanks, but right now she’s acting very childish, and has been taunting her own image and mine along with it, so I’ve written her, a-uh- informative letter that should help her get the bigger picture of her current actions so she can change them around and so she won’t taint our image, it’s a lot of work to go behind her and make sure everyone gets the picture, the amount of bodies I have had to dispose of our far too many, and yet she just thinks they were all so scared they just up and left. But just deliver this letter and come back to me when y It’s done so I can pay you, it’ll be interesting, she’s been quite a nut job lately and has ruined a lot of things for me.” Tencva took a breath when she finally finished talking.

Syliph grabbed the letter and walked toward the Alice’s room, wondering what new name star she had this week, it had become quite fun to guess the new design, mainly because she changed it every week. Turning tail he headed towards her room.

A guard stood outside Alice Nightingale’s room, but above him, the Star shone very bright. A perfectly glass cut masterpiece with her name carved into it. Lining the edge we’re small, rainbow colored, lacrima lights that changed in intensity, the guard seemed tired and bored with his job, no, it seemed more like he was bored with his life, he needed a mid-life crisis to fix him. Smiling Syliph tried to act like he was just gonna slip through, and just as he planned he was met with an arm. ”Only Alice Nightingale’s, and Rebecca Porter are allowed in without permission.” He repeated in a monotone voice, that was just as dead as he was. ”I’m here to meet Alice Nightingale’s on a more Private meeting, I promised to come early and meet her in her room, so if you wouldn’t mind, please let me through, I don’t want to drop her expectations.” He winked at the guard, who choked back a gag and a laugh, he still held his arm thouroughly strong in front of Syliph, Lik an unmoveable statue. The guard shook his head no, with a sigh Syliph leaned in close to the guard, tonight had been weird and he wasn’t planning on dealing with anymore crap, and that included this moment, so he leaned into the Vuards ear and whispered, ”Everyone obviously knows your dead on the inside, and probably are doing it for less than you should cause Alice Nightingale blackmailed you and you’re doing this so no one knows, but everyone does. And I’ll make sure everyone knows your bad at it by breaking all your limbs and tossing you out the front door, I’ve been spending enough time here to gain my own rep, don’t cross me or I’ll cross your arms behind your back in a rather hurtful position, so now, please let me do my job and let me into Ms. Nightingale’s room, thankyou very much.” Syliph smiled as the guard stepped to the side, his face so pale it could have been a wonderful canvas for someone to paint on.

Sliding into Alice’s room, he took in the view, he had been in and out of here quite a lot, so much in fact that it had lost its pizzzaz. It was just full of fanciful dresss and an over bedazzled desk, full of perfumes that made you smell the rainbow, and lipsticks that were the rainbow, and some that looked like some kind of brand new rainbow no one had ever actually seen before. Eyeliners that had labels suck as, “lustrous black shadows.” Or “villainous red lady lipstick.” Syliph left it at that and went back to finding a place to leave the note, deciding the desk was the obvious place he plopped it down in front of what looked to be the obvious favorite of all the makeups, a combination of “black luster raven eyeliner.” “New blood lipstick.” And “Sorcery rose garden, a truly magical perfume”. Placing it between a those he headed towards the door, when none other than Alice Nightingale herself stepped in. ”SYLIP KAMAE, how wonderful to see you!” She exclaimed, sliding over and hugging Syliph’s arm. Syliph plastered a fake smile on his face. ”Hi Alice, I was gonna stay for awhile, but I’ve got to go, I’ll come back later so we can talk some more.” he said, leaning down he planted a kiss on her cheek, distracting her from the small possibility of him being the actual one who delivered the note. With that he left to go collect the money from the one and only Rebecca Porter.

Rebecca sat dutifully outside the directors room, collecting blackmail money that was currently being slipped under the door, Syliph stifled a laugh. When she noticed him, she didn’t even bother to ask him if he was done, she simply placed the bag in his hands and turned and left, he didn’t know he had done such a good job, a tired Syliph left. It had been to long of a day to stay any longer and do more work. With a sigh he left the front door, he’d contact Nymohae later, maybe tomorrow.
