the theater sat atop the hill, in all its glowing beauty, if you were to look from the town to the theater, one might mistake it for being the moon in all its brightness. Some of the leads intelligent people might consider it to be the sun before realizing what time it happened to be.
A stick cracked behind Syliph, who swung in a circle so quickly, nothing would have been able to escape his eyes, but yet it did, Syliph only managed to see a glimpse of a twirling dress glitter between some trees, someone was hiding. “COME OUT” He yelled at the top of his lungs. No movement. He tried again, still quiet. Storming over to the forested area he peered into the blackness, barely using any magic to illuminate the the darkness, peering harder he saw a figure move quietly in the near distance. Breaking into a sprint he tackled the unknown figure who fell with a feminine Yelp. ”For goodness sake, please get off me, I’m not trying to kill you, think of me as a messenger.” the woman said. Now in the light of the theater he could see her more clearly. She was tan skinned with long golden-brown hair that cascade over her shoulders in long waves. Her dress seemed to shift colors every time she moved, yellow to green, blue to purple, red to white, it had no pattern, she was ever changing. ”no one ever chooses to warn me so why would you?” Syliph asked. The lady simple responded that she was a messenger sent to warn him of his own gods. ”What’s wrong with the zodiac gods?” he pushed further. The woman ran her hands together awkwardly, ”My goddess, Nymphae, I am one of her supreme priestesses, Elestia. Nymphae was not her original name, it was originally Ophicus, the thirteenth sign of the zodiac. She was born and fell to earth just like the rest of them, but after years of trying to convince them to think as a whole and trying to convince them war wasn’t the best option at the time, she turned and left. Unfortunately, by her own, the zodiac goddess couldn’t do anything, so she created an ancient ritual known as untethering, and with that she broke herself from her zodiac ties, swinging through the emptiness of the void, she was able to find her purpose again, protecting the small, which included the earth, so she took a new name, Nymphae, and attained new followers, when Nymphae heard there was a new guardian she sent me to warn you of their ignorance, she hopes you find her at one point and talk. But I most go, goodbye.” Elestia stood and left.
Syliph sat in shock for a few moments but quickly got back to his feet and left towards the theater, he should probably get some work done, he would consider talking to Nymphae later, he was currently very busy.
