She hadn't been faring too well with the weather these past few days; more specifically, she'd been terribly unlucky with the rain... It appeared as if whenever she finally got some down time in between mission, dark and cloudy skies would appear to ruin her hopes of finally exploring Baska, and she'd end up caught out in a downpour. Sure, she dealt with overcast easily enough, with cold even... But rain, that's a different story. Then again, who likes soaked to the point of getting one's clothes waterlogged - to the point when moving around became exceptionally uncomfortable? Sure, she could probably force herself to deal with it in an emergency, but she'd never go as far as calling it pleasant.
Not today though...
Under a warm, but mellow sunlight, Alisa smiled classily as she made her way across the city, taking in the sights, the sounds and the scents; the subtle stroking of the breeze against her cheeks, sending her long black hair and longer white dress fluttering about in a graceful, rippling visage. Not only had the perpetual gloomy clouds of the past few days finally passed, yet the strong winds had died down too, enough she'd actually consider wearing a wide brimmed hat without wondering when it would fly off... Somewhere along her stroll she'd turned into a lush, green park, which in turn led her into a pure white, rather idyllic gazebo, a view so breathttaking she found herself sauntering towards it before she realized it...
So far, she'd rather enjoyed what Baska had to offer her - from the missions to the meetups - and more importantly, she fully understood how she yet had plenty left to see and do. Places such as these proved her right, made all the more delightful by the near deserted lack of people around. She could catch at most two or three others as her shimmering wine red eyes admired the landscape:
"What a lovely afternoon...", she thought out loud, tucking a raven lock behind her ear as her gaze settled on a clear, blue lake, all but watching the clearer skies reflected on its surface...
