Well she was a bit hungry and especially very tired, she should have slept when she had the time to do that in the train but to be honest, Lacie had never been on a train so it was all very exciting. She had been in Orchidia before, it had not left a big impression, she met Chelvaric here and she narrowed her eyes as she looked at the church from the station. They would simply go on and walk towards Crocus.

It was the same distance as Oak to Baska had been, which she had walked twice in a short time but now she felt like she needed more breaks than before and she tried her very best not too sleep, at least sitting still in the train had given her some energy but it was quickly gone and not easily restored with food, she should definitely eat more in general but she was very tired and that was just because she didn't sleep.

She didn't say much to Michelle, she didn't know what to say and when they could see Crocus, she held her breath for a second, she couldn't remember ever being in the capitol and it was a very strange feeling. She wondered for a short second if her sister was here. She looked at the debris around, "They sure had a party."

Although Michelle didn’t need many breaks and was itching to hit the road to finish the final stretch of the journey, she was considerate enough to let Lacie take her time. She noticed that the girl didn’t eat much or get some rest in the train. During one of the breaks, Michelle remembered Lacie’s comment regarding training her spells. She realized it was a wonderful opportunity to test the dragon slayer magic and her proficiency with it. “Hey… I remember you saying something about training your magic. If you would like, we could do it together,” she said. “But we’ll probably have to wait until the capitol settles down after all it has gone through,” she added quickly, wondering how much damage the Grimoire Heart must have laid.

After a few more breaks, the two finally reached Crocus. There were huge holes on the capitol walls and several buildings were levelled to nothing but rubble. Those that still stood either didn’t have a roof or walls; nothing was spared. Even Michelle couldn’t help but feel a little bad for the poor clueless souls that got caught in the crossfire. “If they were after the throne, you would think they would leave something to rule over,” Michelle said, stepping into the city through one of the holes made by Grimoire Heart’s Ark.
