It was a rainy day.

Drops of rain were making their way from her strands of hair that she had left untangled; eventually reaching the end and getting mixed with the rain once more. Her eyes were fierce, their blue darkened by the gray clouds that loomed above. She was running, but it wasn't because of the rain. She would never run during one; she'd stay still and enjoy it. However, today wasn't a circumstance normal; she had a very important job to do, a job that she had picked up that went up perfectly with her skills.

Stepping into puddles and puddles, she could feel the water making its way inside her boots and wetting her socks. She didn't mind it, a single weave of hand and she could remove them after she was in a safe place. But she surely didn't want to get cold feet; surely, sickness would follow very soon afterwards. After looking around swiftly for a second, she leaned against a wall as people with umbrellas, each one walking fast, passed across her. She felt like she was watching a river with many colors. Stopping her distraction, she took out the crumpled out of her night blue jacket's breast pocket and gave it another read. Her eyes would then search for any indicator for her to find the right place, and soon her gaze would stop on a street sign, followed by relief. She couldn't imagine being in the wrong place and having to run all the way back.

She stopped in front of the cathedral and looked at the beautifully decorated gate. Cut glass of many colors were embedded into the wooden base, creating different patterns with the silver and gold designs that wrapped around them. Of course, the fire was also there. Vivianna was quick to learn about Illumin and the Chantry. She was neutral towards it, and was quite taken far by the concept of people burning themselves. None of this mattered now, however, for she had a much important thing to focus on.

Healing.

She was stuck in a loop of destruction for so long that she felt blessed that her new powers allowed her to cultivate life. She smiled for a brief second, she didn't want people to see her smile and get the wrong idea, for who would smile in front of a cathedral that was filled with sick people?

She opened the gates, and had to force them open a bit.

The smell was the first thing she noticed.

Her pupils diluted at the scenery inside the cathedral. A fierce clash of beauty and horror. The wonderful and spacey interior of the cathedral was critically different from what was happening on the main hall's floor. Bedrolls and beds were everywhere, only a small space left open between the people and the altar, priests trying to make sure the eternal fire was kept safe among the havoc, some running left and right, crying children and glow of different kinds of magic.

She got out of her shocked state when she saw the priest approaching her.

"Vi... Vivianna?" the man asked. Vivianna just looked at him with wide eyes before smiling and nodding. She grasped her hands in front of her and stood there silently, waiting for her orders. The priest looked at her head to toe and smiled back. "When I got the message that you had healing capabilities, I was delighted," the man began to speak as they started to walk side by side. Vivianna was a bit taller than the man, but she could feel the strong soul that burned inside him. Maybe it was religion, or perhaps it was the undying devotion to help these people that had made this man radiate such a brilliant aura. Vivianna didn't know and just listened to him. "We know that your magic cannot heal them, however it can surely ease their pain, so I want you to focus on making sure the medicine is distributed evenly, and to attend to people with worst symptoms," the father spoke. Vivianna was writing these in the air with her ink just to make sure she had everything ready. When father stopped speaking, she bowed and took the bag the father was holding towards her.

She opened the bag by pulling the leather cord holding it shut and sat on the ground to go through it. There were several glass potion bottles, some green pills that were each wrapped in cloth. Vivianna took out the small note that was also inside the bag and started reading. It seems that the father had left her a note about what each of these items are for.

It was simple: The potions were each only to be used one sip, and the pills were for the ones whose sicknesses were more severe; incidentally, these would also probably be the people that would need to be healed by Vivianna. The maiden read the notes a few more times before springing up to action. The future few hours would surely require hard work. She immediately went up to the mother and the crying child, the child was crying which took Vivianna's attention quite fast. She knelt next down to them. The mother was quite pale, and so was the kid. Vivianna smiled to reassure them that things would be okay. She waved her hand to create a small ink butterfly that would slowly heal the child's pain as well as get his attention. The boy stopped crying and started to watch the butterfly flutter around.

She was doing good this time. Healing.

While distracted, she would apply the medicine to both. The kid seemed to be fine finally, which caused Vivianna to smile. However, she still had work to do, and quickly had to leave the kid's side to tend to others.

The rest of the day was a blur for her. When she was done, the father gave her some jewels and medicine. The rain had stopped when she stepped outside.
