SQUEAKY CLEAN COULD YOU GRANT ME, MY FINAL WISH? A sigh escaped her lips as her mind dwelled on the life she lived. Her family was murdered by a warlord for the petty reason that they were selling relics out of his price range. In the end, her family had paid the cost with their lives, and he still did not get the treasure he desired. In his final moments, he was killed in the most sacred of places to the Manji, by a girl who knew nothing about them other than name. Even her life was not spared from his grasp. But still now, the darkness was not of the past that held onto her, but her future. She was the heir to this clan, and now none of her bloodline remained. She was the final Manji. The last true Manji. But now, she had taken a deep breath and dipped her head underwater. She was not drowning, she was simply enjoying her bath. It was empty at this time of night, with few voices echoing in the halls. It seemed as everyone was going home, but this woman remained. Her body scarred as well as her soul. And all she wanted was a vacation. But for now, her body was to be cleansed with what remained of of the warm clean water. |

Her head shook the thought out and got up to walk back inside her suite hotel and change up a bit. ''It feels like a good time to swim today. I doubt many - if not none at all would even think to walk to the Inner bath house in this weather.'' she spoke to herself. Maybe it was because she was insecure about herself and then her hand slid down to her stomach. Her lips that were a beautiful scarlet color frowned as they were filled with sorrow. 'Will I ever find them?' she thought and then coughed suddenly. Due to her being quite polite, she covered her own mouth with her free hand. Arisa grabbed her bag, an umbrella and put on her flip flops. ''Well... time to go.'' she told herself as the elevator door closed. Down it went as she felt excited to have a relaxing time at the bath house. Soon enough she got there to find out there was one other person, but who? With her entering, others left besides one person who was here. Arisa's skin glistened as she walked into the lit-up room to change. Stripping off, she next wrapped a towel around her and finally walked off into the bathing area.

SQUEAKY CLEAN COULD YOU GRANT ME, MY FINAL WISH? With a breath, she exhaled above the waterline, letting bubbles and water into her mouth only to be spat back out. She would close her eyes to rest the back of her head upon the flat tile that surrounded the bath. There was no cushion for her, and if their was, her fortune was spent on the temple. It was all that was left to the Manji, and all that remained in Chi's name. But here, she was just another person using the bath anyone used. She was no runaway from a guild she couldn't remember. The mark that was seared onto her flesh was meaningless without the memories of her allies. Instead she sat within, rested, leaned to the back of it, her skin soaking the water. She would only open her eyes to hear a woman enter the bath room. She was beautiful, that alone she would not deny, but she was no one. She was no one with a name attached to her. She could have been a queen, with without a name she was just the same as her. She inhaled deeply, taking in the aroma of the acorns and the plants that decorated the area. Whatever this night had in store, it was at least going to be relaxing. That alone, would satisfy her. |

Her heart was beating fast as she nervously got in. She didn't know where this person was as her mind wasn't quite together at the moment. Sure they were truly probably close, but in her mind, they were not. Arisa got in, sunk into the hot steaming water to its full glory. Quickly the water made the water snug up against her curves to shape out against her glistening flawless skin. Her blonde hair was put up like always, but for a reason so simple as she didn't want to get her hair wet - yet. ''Awe... this this nice...'' she mumbled softly, floating half-way towards a corner to rest against. Her mind was more clear as she then noticed a woman...
''Oh! I apologize. Didn't realize someone was right there... I spaced out.'' she spoke nervously, but sweetly. The woman's body was quite like hers with the curves - or as far as she could see. ''Do you mind if I relax over here?'' she wondered politely. She wasn't mean unless she had to be... Hopefully, there wasn't going to be a case where she had to be 'not nice'.

SQUEAKY CLEAN COULD YOU GRANT ME, MY FINAL WISH? "It's a free country." she would answer, "But are any of us free?" She seemed calm and collected. That much peeked her interest, but she was just like anyone else who walked into this bathhouse. She would bend her neck, her head erect to stare at the woman. She would move towards her, no more than a few feet for conversation. Not everything remained the same forever. She would rest her elbow on the rim, her head resting in her open palm as she looked over. Her hair unkempt and wet. She, with her right hand, moved most of it from her face and slid it behind her ear, only to smile at the woman. "If I may," the dark haired woman began, "My name is Chisu Lau. May I ask of yours? Since we're the few left, surely our moments here don't have to be boring." And to it, it was true to the most part. They were two people who remained in the quiet bathhouse. If she wished to keep to herself, than a name would be all she would ask of her. After all, everyone has a tale, and every person has a name. Well, almost everyone. |
Fri Apr 13, 2018 9:40 am
''The real question is for how long... will we be free.'' she started to say softly and lost as her mind wandered off for a second as she still spoke. ''My name?... It's Arisa.'' she said motherly and smiled to end up tilting her head to glance at the dark haired woman with the name of 'Chi'. That didn't sound like a name from here, but instead from the Country of Sin. 'It's a trap...' spoke the darkened voice within her mind. Arisa wanted to test it more. ''Are you from Fiore?'' she questioned next as she snuggled into the heat of the waters. It felt quite relaxing and so was this game of questions...
Fri Apr 13, 2018 11:07 am
SQUEAKY CLEAN I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM Fiore was a beautiful country full of lies and half truths. But her home, was even more tainted. She'd smile at the girl's remark. It was only then that her mind would drift to where she came about. She had came from somewhere, before she had gone to that temple. But where? She could remember the grand city, and the pillars and altars set in that city... Oh, was there a war? "No." she would say, drawing distance from her. She was open to a conversation it seemed. Perhaps this would ease her burden, even if it held no value. "No I'm not. . . ." She sighed and looked away from the both of them, looking into the steam. "I didn't come to Fiore by choice. I don't think any of us did. But we're all here now." She'd give a hint of a smile, before looking back at the light haired woman. "I cam from a village named after a forgotten god, Majinoki." she would say, "I doubt anyone has heard of it. Are you from Fiore?" Perhaps her answers were loaded, and maybe she trailed on, but what was the point of small talk. They wanted to know who was next to them while they relaxed unarmed. There was no harm in that. Her sword and armor lay within her locker, and was far out of reach. Even if this woman was her enemy, there was no point to fight on a night of peace. Tonight, was a dance of questions, one where one would take the lead. But who? |

Did she tell someone else that she was from Sin and that's why her fate turned drastic? Arisa was partly on the run, even though her appearance changed, they'll find out one way or another. ''I'm from Sin... Or so I believe. I was there for most of my life till... an accident that is.'' she started to say and looked away from her with her eyes, but her head stayed in place. She wondered on another question and then looked back at her while sitting up more. She slid her legs/thighs towards herself and wrapped her arms around them to hold in place. She felt her chest squish against her legs due to it. Arisa next tilted her head to rest her cheek against her knees as she gazed at the woman. ''So, Chi, tell me your views on what has happened. With the King, enslavement, etc... You must think something of it.'' she then did it, started to talk about dumb 'politics' even though she didn't care much... she did end up caring about what they did after her fight with that buff guy that made another part of her out of control.

SQUEAKY CLEAN I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM Sin. Accident. Another runaway, lost an astray. It was a pity. If it were true, then it seems as if misfortune had cursed all of their people greatly. "So we aren't so different . . . " she said it to herself as the girl went off in thought, her eyes drifting away from her. Perhaps sharing her own memories would not only aid herself, Chisu, but also the woman beside her. As she seemed to hold her own self in comfort, Chisu remained opened and vulnerable. After all, when she had escaped death so many times, she was nearly asking for it by now. "Please, call me Chisu." she would say it with a smile, and a bit of a chuckle. "My village, we were in Sin. We were so happy, excluded from the rest of the world. We were nothing more than war mongering natives. We worked for the highest bidder. I guess some people blamed us for their destruction. We were nothing more than messengers." She would sigh. That much of the story was irrelevant. "One day someone came to our home. That day he slain our elders, my father, and took the rest of us as collateral. They were going to put us in some labor camp I could imagine." Her expression would fade to fall upon the girl, "I should have been a slave. All my relatives died trying to free themselves from it, even after we came to Fiore. But none of that matters now. I can't call anyone a king who doesn't help their people." She would shrug, only to lean forward with her arms over her head. She would stretch, her fingers interlocked, her palms outward, the brand on her upper back would be seen, a mark that was beyond a guild stamp. It was a branding for the guild of Phantom Lord, something seared into her flesh. Something, she had completely forgotten she was a part of. She would again return to her original position with her back leaned to the rip of the bath, her arms leaned behind her on the tiles, her chest just below the waterline, hiding what needed to be unseen. "Forgive me. I must have gotten ahead of myself . . . " she would apologize, not for what she said. . . . . . but for the lives she could not save. |

''It's quite alright. I'm about to go on with a short story myself...'' she spoke with such haze. Her golden eyes that held no pupils gazed towards her. Arisa felt so much sorrow... Her own and other's sorrow. ''I lived in a peaceful town where many people helped each other. One day the person I saw as a mother experimented on me and out of no where I was knocked out cold. I ended up waking up to see nothing and no one in the basement. My body was cold, on the ground of dirt and hay. I ran outside after grabbing for anything to be used as clothes which ended up being a sheet left behind. '' she started off and then yawned for a second before finishing her story.
''I ran to the village to end up not finding anyone and what I saw up the hill changed me forever... The people I saw as sisters and my brothers at the manor I was staying at were gagged, blindfolded and tied up. They were all in a line and so was I. The elder was sacrificing each one of us because of the woman we saw as a mother. She wasn't human - which I should've guessed, but I was only nine. I couldn't see anything, only hear the deaths of who was next and the burning scent of incense that will scar me for life. First, I heard a scream, another heard someone dragging one off and then as they kept taking their turns the blind fold came off of me. I couldn't believe what I saw...'' she realized she rumbled off and blanked out as she was telling the story. Sure she wasn't finished, but she felt like perhaps Chisu wouldn't be interested in it. ''Sorry... I didn't realize how much I was saying till now... Didn't mean to bore you.'' she said with an innocent weak smile.

SQUEAKY CLEAN I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM She listened to the tale, and wondered how, no... why anyone could do such a thing. It was evil, malicious, and just inhumane, but perhaps that was just how nonhumans were. They didn't care about mortal lives. But did that make her any different? She was a pureblooded Manji. Did feasting on the remains of those fallen make her any most human that someone who sacrificed their own kin? She was a Lycan, and by choice. The feral nature to understand and appease her god. "Not at all." she would say, smiling as she did so. "Maybe Sin is just that kind of country." She looked at the woman for a moment, before staring off again, "Though, with so many close brushes with death, I have to believe in fate. I wish I wasn't the only survivor of my clan, but I live to believe that my life was spared for a reason. Maybe yours too." It was an odd thing, two random women who happened to be the only ones in the bathhouse, had so much alike it seemed. "I only wish you did not stray from your path as I did. I came to Fiore and found myself becoming the evil I cursed. I wanted to be what my greatest fears, would fear themselves. And in my darkness, I swallowed all that my light once touched." Her hand would be set in front of her chest, only to clench into a fist as she spoke. "I wish I could go back. Maybe I could save more lives. Maybe it could be different." |

With that Arisa slowly sat up and motioned over towards the bowl of cantaloupe. ''I just love fruit...'' she mumbled and grabbed a cut piece that was a perfect shape of a cube. Simply she plucked it into her hot mouth as she licked her lips next afterwards. Her eyes cornered to look at Chisu as she said something about 'going back'. She felt weird out of no where as her eyes motioned into a sliver moon color. ''There is never any going back.'' she spoke in a womanly tone with a french-like accent. She simply coughed, her eyes went back to golden and pure. ''I'm sure you can change with effort towards it.'' Arisa spoke sweetly and softly.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THEM I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM She would remain silent, up until a server arrived. It was odd, she hadn't even thought about staffing in the bathhouse until now. But someone had to maintain the water and the facilities. It only made sense. But perhaps it wasn't anyone's fault to dismiss common sense. This was a place of random occurrences, and strange coincidences. Perhaps there was a higher power that puppeted them all as they wished, giving the false feeling of having choices or options. Maybe none of them were truly free. Maybe she was a slave to begin with. She waved at the man, dismissing the offerings. It was none to her liking, she didn't like to eat in a time like this anyways. But as she did so, the woman seemed to have a change of consciousness, letting another side to her slip out. Perhaps, like Chisu, she had some sort of god feasting on her soul, waiting to take her life as well. Maybe all from Sin had some similar situation, or perhaps it was just them. "In a world full of magic and sudden occurrences, I don't think I will ever fully push the idea of it aside." She said it, sinking into the water, until her hair would begin to float above it, like the rays of the sun, with her face at the center. "But say the opportunity arose, knowing what you know now, being able to use the information you have gathered, if you were unable to go back in time, would you give your past self the memories you have gathered until this day?" She would smile. "I'd gladly give up my life if it means I could change the past. Perhaps I'm a fool for dreaming of a time where I can." |

It only lasted a second as she remembered she was by someone. Awkwardly she coughed and turned towards Chisu. Her mind was telling her things, things she believed to not have remembered. It was that or perhaps her mentality had its own Lock Safe and it was slowly becoming rusted and loose. At Chi's serious question, she chuckled softly with a weak smile. ''I would not. For one..'' she started and tilted her head to look straight at Chisu. ''I would be too young to do anything. Plus, I don't know where I'm originally from if it wasn't from Sin itself. Another, if I gave my past self my current memories... I would most likely try to pressure time to keep the happiness part that I have now and my personality would obviously be very different. True, I could save a few lives, but with love -- I am quite selfish with it.'' she gave her honest opinion and that was it.
Fri Apr 20, 2018 6:24 am
DON'T FORGET ABOUT THEM I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM Time seemed to pass slower in this place. Conversations that lasted moments seemed like Eons. Chisu reflected solely on her own actions, not choosing to acknowledge her own deity. Perhaps this was why they were saved so many times, and when they no longer recognized her the same, she could not save them any longer. Perhaps it was the wrongings of her own clan, rather than herself. Perhaps it was all their error, but that answer would not reside within Chisu, for it was a question for another person. "Then perhaps that is where our similarities end." She would say it with a sigh, breaking her gaze with the woman. "For me it all changed when that new nation attacked. Our hero was gone, and I never got to say goodbye to my father. Maybe if I could just warn myself of it, I could at least save him, even in trade of my own life, or perhaps even my sisters." She's let out a weak laugh in her thought, "All I need is to go back a year or two, and maybe my life wouldn't have turned out the way it has." With a shrug, she would continue, even if she wished it would end. "Maybe I'd have never met you, or any of the people along the way, but I would gladly give my own life to save my people." |

''I believe that today, the present people that i know of now are worth dying for.'' she started as she closed her eyes half-way. ''There is also that if you did want to go back in time somehow... You'd have to die in the first place to be reborn anew in the time-stream.'' she spoke again and then noticed how indifferent she sounded. Her head turned to look at her and giggled. ''Haha sorry, you must probably think 'What the hell is she talking about.' which is okay. Everyone believes in something different and sometimes people are answered on their beliefs. Most of the things people believe in are things to put hope into and get back in return during a crisis.'' Arisa lastly said before she cocked her head upward to look up at the ceiling. It finally stopped raining and her body was slowly becoming weak from being in the hot water for so long... soon she'll have to leave.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THEM I'MA TOUCH YOUR BUM It was becoming part of her, her own honor. She alone would carry the burden of her lost family. She did not need to. She could have tossed the crown and lived a happy life with the man she loved. But here, in Magnolia, she could not recall his name or anything about him. Her only memory that remained was his hand that extended to her while she slept on a park bench. A man she would soon forget again, but would never lose feeling of. "Perhaps you're right." Chisu would say with a smile, one wide enough for force her eyes to squint closed. She would turn to face the rim of the bath, wondering how long it had actually been. She would set her palms to the ground and push her weight against it, lifting herself out of the water. She would sit upon the floor tiles with her feet still in the water. Her left leg tossed over her right. "Maybe I'm infatuated with the idea of dying for a better cause." She'd sigh, the woman had much served her purpose for the day. Chisu had found her answers. "Deep down, you're right. I might not even really want to die. It's maybe how I cope with it. I guess we'll never know, Haha." She'd laugh, a real laugh. For the first time, in a long time, she found true amusement in her own life. For once, she felt emotion. _________ She smiled, "You know, thank you for taking the time to talk to me." she's say it before rising, without taking a towel to cover herself. She would make her way to her belongings to leave. There was much for her to do. "May we meet again." she'd wave, with her body bare before disappearing behind the corner to go home. Wherever that was. |
