Client: | Gerard: A doctor in Baska who is having a tough time taking care of all his patients. The recent influx of patients is the work of the Cold Colliers according to Gerard. He believes that they've poisoned the river for starters. Gerard feels bad for what happened to Mattoro since he tried to rescue some of his friends and saw what the frostbite did to them, but can not accept innocent citizens getting caught up in it. |
Summary: The Cold Colliers did it. They've released the plague onto the whole of Baska, and now the entire city has become a war zone. The only way to stop it is to release the cure into the air ducts around the city, in a similar fashion to how the water was poisoned, the air will be cured. You must take the cure and release it in the hot spots, to ensure everyone receives it.
Enemies: | Crazed Citizens: Under the influence of the violent plague, the citizens of Baska have become animalistic in nature, attacking anything in sight, and attacking with tooth and nail, ripping into each other and doing anything they can, as if they are wolves that have been backed into a corner. They will focus anyone that isn't infected over those who are, otherwise they will attack indiscriminately. |
Objective: Release the cure into the air and save the people of Baska.
Extra Rewards: None
Details:
- Create a topic in Baska City.
- Wherever you are, Gerard will find you, running away from two crazed citizens towards your location. After subduing (not killing) the two, Gerard will frantically try and tell you what's happened while he also catches his breath.
- It seems that, despite everything you and the doctor tried to do, Mattoro and his gang released more of the poison into the water, and it has since infected everyone in Baska. As you just saw from the two people that were trying to kill Gerard, the entire city has become an arena, with everyone violently trying to kill everyone else. Having known about the plague for some time, Gerard made sure that he didn't drink any contaminated water, which makes the two of you the only sane people in all of Baska.
- Gerard will put the cure that you both made into your hands, and tell you that the entire city needs to be healed all at once or it won't work and everyone will get infected again. You only have one chance to do it properly, which means you have to follow his instructions perfectly.
- He needs you to go to three specific locations in Baska and set up a detonator, which Gerard will provide. Once you have done this for all three, you can release the cure and save the city.
- The first two locations are the furthest-most outskirts of the city: on the east side of Baska, and one on the West. These areas are almost identical but you will have to make your way there through alleyways and avoid being spotted by the mob, otherwise you will have a war on your hands that you can't deal with.
- At these two locations, there are two crazed citizens fighting each other, but once they spot you and Gerard they will attempt to kill you. You will need to fight them while Gerard sets up the detonator, defeating them without killing them.
- The final location is in the center of city, and is surrounded by six violent citizens, all of whom will try and kill both you and Gerard. Due to how many there are, it will be difficult to defeat them all. While you keep them at bay, Gerard will set up the final detonator.
- After you've defeated all the citizens, or enough time has passed that Gerard has finished, you will activate the detonator, and release the cure into the air. The citizens will still attack for a few moments before the cure spreads to their systems.
- Everyone around will double over (unless unconscious) and reel in pain, before passing out. A few moments later, they will all wake up, feeling tired and with no memory of what transpired.
- Having successfully saved the city, Gerard will give you your reward, and thank you for everything you've done to help him.
