Demon Souls were a tricky subject... If properly trained and supported, they could effectively seal immensively powerful demons in their own bodies, even harness their powers. If frail or weakwilled, they themselves could become a weapon to their demon soulmates... Alisa sighed, only so much demon talk a person can take before they start getting the urge to train themselves for the next hunt... Or just feel nauseous really, depends on the person in the end. Either way, Alisa knew better than to sully her mood all the same:
"Ufufu, that reminds me, the flower festival takes place around this time, does it not~?", she noted, shooting a glance outside, admiring what few budding blooms she could yet spot, her smile widening immediately, filling her minds with thoughts of these wonderful views they'd been fighting to protect.
Mind you, Alisa wasn't as focused on shopping as her words might suggest. A lover of all things beautiful through and through, she also knew better than to narrow down her options to items she could purchase with jewels. Quite the opposite, she recognized how the grandest, most wonderous things in life were free, for all to gaze upon and admire with every fiber of their being:
"Indeed we should, make the most of this little opening. Who knows how long it will last~?", noted the artist, pushing back her chair, resting her hand over it as she waited for Kerii to stand up as well, plucking a couple of jewels from her purse and laying them over the table, paying for her coffee, leaving a tip in the process while waiting for the girl to collect her book and jacket, "Say what you will about a rainstorm, there's a certain beauty to be found in those first few moments once it gives way."
Once Kerii stood up, she'd make her way outside, stepping out, calmly holding the door for a new acquaintance while flashing her that cool, laid back smile, before taking a long, deep breath of that fresh, earthy air.
