Saros had no time to read, as he was busy making sure a resident of Orchidia was okay. He'd put up a quest request and wanting to help out the young man took it without hesitance, and now he would find himself making his way to the meet up point at Orchidia River. A white bubble coat covering his equally white sweater while blue jeans and black boots covered his bottom half. Black hat on his head to combat his mostly white locks and he was off, trotting quickly to find Dex and get the adventure started; ready to make his own tale.
Finding the 'detective', Saros would smile and walk up to the man who began mapping out the events that had transpired and left him a clearly shaken mess. So there was a big blue ball, that somehow altered his emotional state when he'd gotten around it; almost like some sort of spirit orb. Which didn't sound believable to some it was something Saros could understand, but then the story diverted into some rambling about ti being tied to a case of his. Raising a brow comically as he waited for Dex to realize he was taken aback, the two would wait until night fall before heading out to the area of the scene.
While he hated to admit it, Saros was actually a bit nervous about anything they would stumble across while attempting to place myth buster. This wasn't what the young rune knight got paid to do yet he still managed to be here, getting paid to do it. Walking along now, the two leaving their own prints in the snow as they traveled to the sightings location, the younger of the two men began wishing he'd brought a camera or something. It would of been pretty dope.
That's when it happened, and there was no way to describe it like it appeared in person. Round spectacles were adjusted on his petite nose, red from the cold air around them and their eyes pierced the frosty winds. Catching a view of an intoxicating blue orb, the same one Dex claimed to have seen. Of course now it wasn't as much a claim as a hard set fact, written in stone and preserved through time.
Staring into the sphere of revolving shades of mesmerizing blue, it's structure made the mage want to slowly walk over and caress it's form. Spinning sapphire dancing so enticingly in the night air, it was almost hypnotizing and before he'd even realize he was actually inching forward to touch it. Dex following suit, moving anxiously behind the tall light mage as each step brought him closer to the strange luminescent ball.
It was only after he managed to put a hand onto the warm source of light that he realized this wasn't just some sort of show. While the embrace from the light was wonderful, it seemed the orb of brilliance was into a deeper purpose and before he could pull away there was a flash, encompassing just his eyes and then everything was blank.
