The fresh downfall prickled the leaves on the trees. She did not mind the cold rain, it was soothing to her skin. The young Lieutenant still had flash backs to what happened a month ago, dark chamber cells and screams. It haunted her. Her service pet that was the most highly trained she had never seen was dead, her ex-finance killed her and nearly did to her as well.

All of hte stress piled onto the young girl, fear gripping her every move. That's the reason why she came out here, to clear her mind. Writing could only work so much. She needed to think. Thinking was good right? No. It was dangerous for her.

LeeAnn contemplated on the idea of just ending all of this. The pain was starting to grow too much, but who would take care of her adopted parents? She had to stay for them, they and Hikaru were the only things making everything worth while. Perhaps, Kazimir as well. He was her only friend. The woman heard a sound, making her grow more protective and running on instincts at the point.

Manzo

As the sky opened up to give it's gift of life to the earth, Manzo found himself caught in the middle of the ceremony. "Damn, forgot my umbrella." He said to himself in frustration wishing that he hadn't been so cavalier with the weather prediction for today.

Thunder crashed through the sound barrier, yet no lightning was to be seen in the sky. A storm with substance but no flash to keep one glued to it. As the rain began to pick up Manzo found a spot under a large tree to seek shelter from the storm for a bit.

It had crossed his mind that he could make somewhat of a umbrella out of leaves if he wove them together, or maybe he should have just worn his cloak with the hood. In either case he hoped he wouldn't catch a cold on this day.

The kitsune's fox ears perked up hearing sounds of squishy grass and moist mud coming her way. Quickly, she scrambled up a the tree and hid on a high branch.  The redhead perched there, staring out what this entity could be. She hoped it was just a harmless creature, but knowing her luck it wasn't. Man was the most dangerous creature she had ever faced. She wished they would all disappear! Humans were silly, even though she used to think she was one.

She hid in hte darkness provided by the shade and trees. She would looks to see a man covering his face with cloak. Her eye narrowed staring at him for a bit longer. She waited until he would she his face in hoping to get a good read on his behavior and to see if he was at least decent. Her six tails were tied back into one larger tail to keep them confined nad make it easier to maintain.

Manzo

Manzo sat putting his umbrella together, as soon as it was fashion he took the hood off of his head and put the make shift umbrella over his head and began from his stroll once again. He felt a bit uneasy as he walked along, as if he was being watched, but it wasn't something he was unprepared for. in far away lands people often look upon new comers as a target of interest. It was nothing new, he had been on the receiving end of it multiple times in his travels.

Today would be no different, not even close.

She folded her ears back giving a deep growl. Her animal-like instincts shown more than her human characteristics. It as all due to her past and recent events. LeeAnn was still on 'medical health leave' from her duties. This was all due thanks to the church and kidnapping her for 'cleansing her sins'. The thoughts of what they did to her haunted her mind every day. She trusts no one. LeeAnn watched his every move revealing his true face. Her curious nature consumed her fear for a split second. Then sunddenly, she was caught again in fear and felt threatened by his presnece. She slipped down the tree in silence.

LeeAnn landed behind him, prepared to defend herself in case he decided to attack. She was curious about who he was but felt fearful at the same time. She narrowed her single showing eye, a small throaty growl came from her not too happy about him around her.

Manzo

Manzo's ears began to tingle with the electricity in the air stir up. He did not move an inch, wanting to feel out the electrons in the air. Was this sudden shift a threat or simply and forest animal in fear somewhere in the brush. As a child he didn't have such a luxury as electric synergy throughout his entire body. Would have come in handy in handy in captivity, as well as the day of massacre. Though that is all truly ancient history, he had been a mage for half of his life, as well as a wanderer. There was not a situation he hadn't faced before.

But this felt more like a chess game, and he wasn't going to show his attack path just yet.

LeeAnn continued to growl much like a wild animal, out of fear. She did not know what this human would do nor how they would react towards her. Distress came from the young woman as she started her magic at the palms of her hands. Though, something told her to stop. She immediately stopped.

She came closer to him, wary. Each step was gentle and full of freight. She sniffed the air carefully, the kitsune studied the magic sensing powerful magic from him. She could tell he was no push over either. Her eye stared at him as she crept around him, trying to see what he'll do. If he did try to attack, she would fling back. She was always on her toes and ready to dodge. She was quick, afterall.

Mute. She looked at him and stood in front of him like a curious yet frieghtened creature yet she was fully capable of speech, reading and writing and every human charactersitic. It was just so ingrained into her to act this way. She was different amongst most others she came across. LeeAnn was mute in all directions only Kazimir heard her speak since the incident. She had not spoken a word since then.

Manzo

As the source of this disturbance revealed itself Manzo found himself tilting his head wondering what exactly this creature was, surely a kitsune of some sort. Manzo had seen one before in his travels in the mountain. He knew that they fed on male pituitary glands for their sustenance. They practically foamed at the mouth for them. Judging from the look of her, she hadn't fed in some time now. Looking feral if anything, though her clothes said other wise. Her clothes said decorate Knight officer. But there was something he just couldn't get past. The eyes, the fur with no sheen. The lack of protein in her diet from the gland was evident.

Manzo stepped back from her, slowly as to not alarm her. He reached into his pack and slowly pulled out a jar of pituitary glands. He had picked up this parcel in the mountains in order to protect himself on his journeys. This would give her the beautiful coloring that her species was known for.

He knelt down to place it on the ground between the two of them. Before turning his back to walk under a tree, where he would sit down and simply watch to see if she would accept his offer of sustenance.

LeeAnn could smell the whiff of human remains. If drove her crazy. It was not her race but her illness that made her want to eat it. She had the hunger of a wendigo many said, but she swore off on eating it. It smelled delicious, but she had promised herself she would not eat it. She looked at him then at the jar then back at him. Slowly, she crept forward taking the jar and staring at him. Sniffing it and eyeballing it trying to not be tempted for too much longer. She refused to eat the past few days and was clearly malnourished due to the refusal to eat. She was way too upset.

LeeAnn dropped the jar out of fright. Her breathing fastened and scaddled away looking at him with a wide eye. What was he trying to do? Was he with them? She hissed and glared at him then back at the jar. Tempted, she quickly took and ate a few of it. Disgusted with herself, she gaged, but was too hungry to really care about morals. She did not eat like a slob, but with manners showing she was civilized. Afterwards, she licked the jar clean and handed back to the stranger, apprehensively. Her ears were clearly folded backwards with terror.

With gradual confidence, she slowly stepped forward towards him. He did give her food...and proceeded with caution towards her. Though, she quickly took a few steps back seeing her fears were haunting her. The clear sign she was in distress and unsure of what to do, make her panic. She looked around as he vision became blurry. Tears streamed down her face out of panic. It was another panic attack as she sat down holding her head.

Manzo

Manzo observed her eat what he had provided for her. She clearly had a resentment for her own natural instincts. Which led Manzo to the theory that she had not know about herself for very long. It wasn't common but notes had been made in Kenta's journal about such incidents. He would like a name, but she was clearly not in a speaking mood, and he was not in one himself. This interaction put him behind schedule, but Kenta taught him to never turn away someone in need, for it if he had done so Manzo would have never lived.

Suddenly there was a shift in her mannerisms, almost trusting, but that was short lived. I familiar scene shift, one that he had been subjected to before Kenta found him, and restored peace to his life. Panic, constant and violent.

Manzo removed himself from his spot and walked slowly over to her. Placing his hand over her head, a small magic circle appeared in his hands, he delivered small electric shocks to her temples as a way of defusing the imbalance in her brain. Something that took him years of practice to perfect upon himself.

This would provide her with small relief, but much needed relief in the moment. The current flowed through her brain to diffuse the imbalance. Electroshock therapy was useful in small situations, but certainly not a good method in the long run.
