The past couple years had been rough, to say the least. Her skills had deteriorated more than expected, and she only recently had regained her strength and then some. She was a far more capable wizard than she was previously, and it was not just in regards to magic. Yes, her healing spells had significantly improved, but Kerii would not even consider doing a request of a high caliber alone with just those spells under her belt. Over time, she improved her physical strength as well. The Wood Elf could endure more hits and strike with more force than ever before. She'd like to think that her father would be proud, as she did reflect the qualities of elven warriors in that sense, but she knew he would find a way to fault her.
In all honesty, she was dreading the prospect of traveling to Crocus. Being a mage, it was inevitable that she would willingly return home at one point or another. Amnesia didn't need to be the catalyst for that, but she still wished that it would not be so. If she ran into her father, she knew that a confrontation would come. Kerii may not have wanted to talk in person with her father, but he certainly would. Despite everything that happened, her father would not stop trying to convert his precious daughter back to traditional elven ways. The Lamia thought she made it perfectly clear that such an action would never happen, but he still did not seem to want to hear it. His stubborn attitude was the reason their relationship was in tatters, and frankly Kerii was not even sure she wanted to repair it at this time. She was still furious with him, and she would remain to be until he changed his ways.
