Sagrada Church is, perhaps, the saving grace of Dahlia's downtrodden and left behind. The poor of the city often gather here to pray. Usually their prayers are for the simplicity of a better life. Usually, they go unanswered. Unlike many locations in Fiore, you won't find resistance here. You won't find people who are willing to enter conflict for their rights. These people have long since been left behind, and will accept whatever promises that are given to them, because anything is better than what they already have. The real task, the difficult part, will be seeing if you can inspire them to truly believe in something once more. |
So tell the gun to sin Like an angel with the dirty wings Tainted by tastes of the soul This is another level Deep in Conquest WC: 303 Total WC: 303 | The dull sun lingered in the sky, hiding behind grey clouds that always seemed to loom over the downtrodden city of Dahlia. It was as if the reign of the clouds perpetuated the way in which several obstacles laid in the path of the city’s saving grace, the light that would bring back the long-lost hope that had been forgotten at this point. The city itself, resides in a slump of danger and inherent poverty, unable to find the salvation that it wished to conquer. However, things were different now. With the establishment of Daeva Eye, who decided to take over a mass of land within the old, treacherous and forgotten lands of Dahlia, they brought with them a glimmer of hope to turn this town into something better. If not that, to at least own the land and hence, protect it. It didn’t seem entirely unlikely to the female. However, the real issue arose as she pondered over the ways in which she could possibly convince the citizens that she was in fact, their ally, rather than their enemy. It had been months since she had embarked on this journey, abandoning her knighthood which dissolved amidst the fight between the crown and the nobles. The sinister feeling that had loomed over her for years had miraculously dissolved as she found herself ecstatic over the freedom that she had gained. A small smile laced her lips as she recalled the decision she had made, to follow the strange and unknown woman into the dark where they would work together to create a place that would provide salvation for everyone, including herself. So far, the guild had accomplished the purpose that it was created for, in her mind at least. The joy and excitement that coursed through her veins was an indication of that. |
