The teen facepalmed as she realized she had forgotten to change back into her dress. She'd have to sneak home and do it in her room... or pretend she was just taking it off. She didn't want to hurt her mom's feelings, after all. She sighed as she boarded the train and began her journey home.
At least the train wasn't too crowded. She felt nervous enough surrounded by strangers at that ball, much less in a confined place like a train. She felt the bumps as the train began to move and her stomach lurched. She looked out the window quietly, watching the scenery change as she left Crocus far behind her. Maybe she'd visit again one day, under different terms.
