It was another day in Astera, The Magus was just waking up from his slumber. He groaned a little as he sat at the edge of the bed. The window was right in front of him and the little parting of the curtains was wide enough to let the warm orange light of the morning in. Sage took a moment to collect himself and be prepared emotionally to start a day. He stood up from his bed and walked towards the window, opening the curtains as wide as possible, letting him view the beautiful city of Astera. He opened the windows and as soon as it was opened he could feel the gentle breeze of the ocean brushing pass his skin. He took a deep breath in and a smile appeared across his face. He could feel that that day was going to be a good day. Sage proceeded to the bathroom to wash himself so he could start the day fresh. As he was done showering, he pat himself dry with a towel. Once he was dry he put on some clothes, which was his usual black inner shirt and a black pants that has a wide open end kind of cutting. To finish the look, he draped his favorite white cloak around his shoulder. He then packed his clothes and things, as for that day, he would be leaving Astera for the time being and head to a town in South Fiore, Marigold. The reason he wanted to go to a place on the other side of Fiore, was because he wanted to join a poetry contest that he recently found out about. He had always been enjoying art, and joining a poetry contest really piqued his interest, he can't afford to miss such event. He wondered what kind of people he would meet there.

After done packing his things, he head for the streets of Astera. He didn't have any mounts for the time being so travelling would take a while for him. But he did have a very sweet companion, it was fire ferret that he found in the otskirts of Astera when he faced barrang with shimura and some of Pheonix feather's soldiers. He had the fire ferret on top of his shoulder, and he had yet to give a name for it. "Hey buddy" he said as it brushed its cheeks against Sage's. For some reason the fire ferret had grown very close to him, and Sage felt like he could not be separated from it. As they walk out of Astera, Sage began to wonder of what name he should give to his furry buddy. "Hmm what should I call you?" he said while wondering. "Aha! I think I'll name you Remy." The fire ferret chirped in excitement, it seems like it likes the name. Sage continued his journey, he was used to journeying and traveling alone. Plus he did not like talking that much, having a furry buddy like Remy was suitable for him, it kept him company while also not being a nuisance as it did not talk at all. Sage traveled from town to town, he was from the West of Fiore, and through the Central to the East and finally to the South of Fiore. Ahh he finally arrived in Marigold. The town was very different from Astera. They were more green and less blue, surrounded by forests and filled with trees along the roads. "What do you think Remy? I think this is a wonderful place" Sage said to his furry buddy, which responded with an excited chirp. He then went inside and took a look around the town, venturing its culture.
