General Name: Nihlatak's Corpsemourn. Slot: Cape. Type: Cape. Class: Legendary. Quantity: Limited. Element: Darkness. Durability: This item is indestructible. Details Description: This ghastly cape saps the vitality of its wearer and places them into a strange state which causes them to linger between the realm of the living and the dead. The wearer can therefore see ghosts and converse with them should they still possess reason. In addition, the user can let things phase through them at a high cost to avoid being harmed. Lore: In order to truly master his craft, Nihlatak descended into the realm of the dead. The missing answers to his questions were left unanswered though. Nihlatak realized that there was a vast difference between trying to gain dominance over the realm of death and attempting to become Death incarnate. Unfortunately, the brief journey resulted in some adverse effects on his constitution. Those wearing Nihlatak's Corpsemourn will experience this affliction for themselves. It will result in their bodies always showing at least one illness. The user is either sweating feverishly, has a cold, a terrible cough, constant shivers etc. It always differs, but it is always present. The user will also be tired faster than usual if they exert themselves physically for longer than two posts. This is all the cause of Nihlatak's Corpsemourn, which causes the user to partly linger in limbo. Even though the user cannot directly enter limbo, they can do it temporarily. This allows the user to let moves phase through them. Extra Requirements:
Notes:
Spells
Rank: S Mana Cost: 200-1000 Requirements: Nihlatak's Corpsemourn Type: Supplementary Element: Darkness Range: Self Cooldown: 2 Posts Duration: Instant Effect: Should the cooldown be ongoing, the user can still let something phase through if they pay double the amount of mana that is required to let something phase through. This always resets the cooldown to 2 posts. Using this double-mana method harms the user and causes them to cough up blood and places their Speed and Endurance at 1 for the next 2 posts. |
