She also noticed that bakeries had adjusted their usual goods to look more easter-themed as well and just overall it seemed to be a holiday that matched perfectly well with the coming of spring. Astera was a rather friendly place and the coastal town was home to many families and their children. As a result, everything was always a little bit more festive here and with easter coming closer every single day, she noticed more and more eggs lying around, waiting to be picked up. The Voidling had been tempted by the chocolate eggs before and had actually gone to purchase some just to have a snack and see how she liked them. They were good.
Today was another such day and once the sun had risen to the sky and the weather was warm and cozy enough, Nuala had climbed out of bed and left the hotel she had been staying at to walk around. She was walking down a more deserted part of one of the town’s many gardens, when she saw something moving in the bushes. A bunny, no less, and it held something in its paws. It was clearly eager to give it to Nuala, but once the predatory Voidling moved closer, the bunny hopped away and left the egg behind. Nuala picked it up reluctantly and broke it open to see what was inside.
