She noted three targets sitting in a row. Perfect. She would stand 10 feet or so back, and practice her aim on these stationary targets. Of course, it was nothing compared to moving targets. She got lucky back in Seighart Mountains against those werewolves. She couldn't really afford to take chances like that again. As she lined up her bow with the target, she pulled an arrow from her quiver. She only used her mana skills in real combat. There was no point in wasting mana on dummies.
So, for this, she brought a quiver full of normal arrows. As she took aim at the target in front of her, Winter yawned and opted to curl up on a park bench for an evening nap. Shooting at night would be challenging, but she was willing to push herself for any situation that should come her way. After all, one never knows when an enemy or a sparring partner will emerge.
It was quiet.
It reminded her of home.
No one around, no fighting, no talking. Rinni sighed. She missed home. Missed her family. She contemplated the idea of returning to Merigold. Her parents and brother were probably worried, after all. Rinni approached the targets to collect her arrows. None had hit a bullseye to her dismay. She needed more practice, and dummies weren't enough.
She sighed.
She really didn't want a lecture from her mom, dad, or broker.
