Island Master
Second Game: Space Oddity

Once again, the Ravens and Hawks were summoned somewhere else. They were all tied around a large pillar with multiple ropes. None would be able to touch each other, because the pillar was large, yet they could see some other participants by turning their heads. They could not touch the ground, for everyone was tied far too high up around the pillar to do that. Suddenly, the pillar started to tremble heavily. It slowly launched itself into the sky, but with each passing second it picked up speed. In the distance, some of the participants could see a mysterious man donning a white mask that covered his entire visage. The mask itself had a mischievous smirk running from the cheekbones down to, slightly above, the jawline and arching back up to the opposite cheekbone. The silhouette waved at them and then turned around disappearing into the darkness of the night. Would they dare to undo themselves of the ropes and leap towards certain death? Or would they hold on tight and find out where life would bring them eventually?

Space. The final frontier. The pinnacle of humanity. The endless boundary. Zane now had to contemplate the exact implications of space in the Fairy Tail Roleplay canon. Did the people of earthland know how space worked? Had they been there before? Did they know the earth was round? Did Zane know any of this? The lore on those details was pretty light, so Zane couldn't really tell for certain. There were also other people that Zane hadn't seen before on other rockets. Did this mean there were a lot of people doing these twisted challenges? Either way, he needed to decide what to do, because he seemingly wasn't quite off the planet yet, just really, really high up. Speaking of high, Zane remembered this time he smoked that funny thing in Baska. It was with his friend, Ronaldhino de Pepito. Back then, they discussed what they would want to do if they were launched out into the sky. Zane remembered Ronaldhino de Pepito's words very well....  "Bruh if I finna get launched into the sky imma bounce cause I don't want none of those green ass lookin aliens up in my shit man." -Ronaldhino de Pepito, X778 Recalling these words of wisdom, Zane quickly started to try to untie these ropes, knowing that whatever was past the boundary of the sky was most likely worse than the death awaiting him on the ground below.

Noel

As the day progressed, the same exotic event that had butchered Noels soul last night had continued to manifest itself during the night. His eyes still red, he'd blankly look around himself, feeling the ropes tighten on his body. While others surely were succumbing to panic, Noel remained cool - almost as if accepting his underlying fate. Maybe there was a sweet redemption at the end of the tunnel after all? He'd look above him to see the stars shining in the sky. No recognizable constellation to be seen. The great pillar had started to ascend, and Noel kept holding onto the ropes; expecting to be met with glory in the afterlife.

Karisa

Kurisa opened her eyes to see those around her, but if she was going, to be honest? She wasn't paying much attention to anyone besides maybe the stranger. Once again it was her and a rope, but what was their deal with ropes? Was it some weird fetish that made them want their victims to die by one? What she could tell is that she was going to be shot up into space or she should untie the rope to meet her fate at the bottom. There was only really one option. Even though she could fly and go about her life, this place probably wasn't going to allow it. So she started to untie the ropes in hopes to get the hell out of here.

Rinni Faithe
As night Fell, Rinni found herself yet again being punished by whoever's sick game this was. As she looked around, she saw other people and caught a glimpse of a strange masked figure in the distance observing them. So they weren't alone, after all. But why? Why was he doing this to them? What was his goal? She looked up at the starry sky, then at the rocket she was attached to. She had two choices, free herself and risk jumping to her death for she was pretty high in the air (Not good, considering her acrophobia) and she was struggling to breathe as she hyperventilated from the fear of it all.

How did she keep finding herself in these situations? She closed her eyes to not see the height she was inevitably heading. With any luck, she'd survive this as well.

Takao

After going out and looking for an item today, he shouldn't have been surprised when he was summoned at night to the middle of some game. As he looked around he realized that he was being tied to a pillar by ropes and he felt a rumbling under his feet. And he started to feel the pressure of the air rush past him as he realized this pillar was gaining speed and going upwards. Ragnar reached down and started to rip and pull at his ropes as he tried to undo this. He felt he had a better chance with the jump then with whatever was happening to him here.

Ko Lesalt

Yet again, Ko found himself mysteriously transported into another nightmare game. Although at this point, the word 'Game' seemed a poor description. It seemed more like a bondage-enthusiast's attempt at some kind of twisted theme park. Once again bound up in rope in a precarious position, Ko struggled uselessly against his bindings right up until the moment the pillar started to ascend. For half a second Ko considered just hanging on for dear life, but he knew from the previous game that death was on the line. For all he knew, the pillar would just drop after it got high enough anyway, and he'd still end up smashed to death. Better to drop before he got too high.

Masami
Huh? A while ago, Masami was... hold on—another teleportation? This was odd, the poor kid is definitely going to get traumatized. "What now?!" he broadly complained, slightly tearing up then exaggeratedly frowning right after. He could feel his feet touching the cold air instead of the ground, then his body struggling to unwrap itself from the ropes. It wasn't enticing for him, at all, Masami immediately assuming that he might die. But then again, these were simply one of the times where stress is present at the start of a joyride, no? Apparently, the Joyan boy still had the energy to make jokes and mock about the 'game' for being low-funded and using ropes instead, blatantly ignoring the masked man and immediately assuming that he was the one in-charge of this. Should Masami just go back to Joya?

Kaiser

The day shifted into night before she was done searching for food. This time, she was tied around a gigantic pillar, with a few others that she could see from turning her head to the sides, but not close enough to touch. She wondered how many more of these struggles she would have to endure until she was done with this big dumb nightmare. The pillar began to shake when Kaiser started to untie the ropes around herself so that she could attempt to save herself. She would jump off as soon as the ropes were successfully undone, even though the ground was way down there. She would try to land using a limb or two to cushion her fall, so that she didn’t just fall to her death you know. A broken limb was better than death. Hopefully there was something soft to land on, or someone else tried to jump too, so that she could try to land on them.

Lucian V. Crimson
I could feel the coarse rope again tying around my body. Whoever had the power to teleport a set of people into such dastardly situations such as this was clearly a powerful person. Either way, with the ground too far below me there was no way for me to genuinely find the leverage to escape the ropes. Besides, the game hadn't begun.

Lucian looked around the area, studying the various people hooked to the pillars. They were all caught in this rat maze forced to watch as the world they knew was thrown into high heaven. The pillar took off with subtle force and launched them into the evening sky. He could feel the cold air on his skin. The screams of exhilaration or fright escaped from some of his neighbors. Lucian remained silent, holding on with his might. Opening his eyes, he watched as those around him began to undo their restraints and launch from the pillar in hopes of find solace on the ground.

I don't think that will be wise. This pillar is longer than me and if we were to hit the ground on any other way other than directly on top of me then I will survive. So I rather take my chance with fate and see where this pillar takes me.

Even if the morrow is barren of Promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land

Mary Wraith
Once again, Mary found herself in a strange situation. She had been tied to some sort of... large pillar? Her feet couldn’t even touch the ground. Carefully she craned her neck, trying to peer around. How many others were there? She wasn’t quite sure... Wait, was there someone else in the distance? Squinting, she could kind of make out a mysterious figure... waving at her before it vanished... Odd things were afoot. She could feel a dreadful shadow looming over her, like a deadly curse sapping her life away.

It felt... wonderful~

The trembling shook the grim woman back to reality. She directed her gaze upwards at the dark blanket decorated with twinkling sparks. It was definitely getting closer by the moment. A haunting whisper left her lips. “If I die here... Will I turn into a star...?” Her stare dropped back down onto the ground. Or perhaps she would plummet into the darkness below. Hm, only one way to find out. Mustering what little strength she had left, she tried to struggle free. Her nails clawed against the ropes in an attempt to loosen them. Every second was precious.

Another night, another game. At this point, Nuala was no longer surprised when she was forced to fight for survival once again. She had been tied around a large pillar with several ropes, unable to free herself just yet. There was no sign of Venus and Nuala couldn’t help but think that at this point, her guild mate had met her demise for good. Nuala wasn’t able to touch the ground in her current position, but by turning her head she could spot a few people whom she decided not to pay attention to: instead, she would focus on living through the night.

Then, unexpectedly, the pillar began to tremble.

Jin Tatsumi
One thing became painfully obvious on the island. it stripped him along with the others of their magic. A lesson he had been hesitant to learn for some time. This, of course, didn't mean that the island was not mystical in itself as once again he opened his eyes to the sight of being bound. Only this time to a large column.

He pulled against the ropes and looked around for anything. The pillar started to tremble and Jin's body shook. In the next instant, the pillar was lifting out of the ground. Far off on a secure plot of land, stood a strange man. The light mage squinted to see but he was more of a blur than anything as the pillar rocketed upward faster and faster. He held his breath with a tight stomach as the rocket soared. His hand tugged at each knot of the ropes trying to yank his way to freedom. It was a might fall but it had to be better than being sent into the atmosphere.
