Island Master
Second Game: Rocket Man

Once again, the Vultures were teleported elsewhere. And again, they were standing in a circle. This time it was on top of a large pillar. Somehow, they could hear voices beneath them. Were there others here on the island? Were these the people messing with them? They didn't have any time to think about it, because their wrists were tied down in front of them and the pillar was moving up quickly. Their hands, however, were free to undo the lock, but it required a puzzle to be solved first. It was unclear whether they could handle the pressure. As two of the participants turned around to look around themselves they could see a mysterious man donning a white mask looking at their direction from a distance. The mask itself had a mischievous smirk running from the cheekbones down to, slightly above, the jawline and arching back up to the opposite cheekbone. The silhouette waved at them and then turned around disappearing into the darkness of the night. Would the Vultures be able to solve the puzzle? And if they did, would they leap towards certain death?

Kon

Green shaded Kon’s otherwise pale skin as he struggled to clear his head and rise from the ground. At least that’s what he tried to do, being stopped by some form of bindings which chained his left hand to a wrought iron loop fixed in front of him. Yanking at the rope he noticed some slack but wasn’t something that he could manipulate, the rusty lock that held the rope together was though. Coming to, Kon spotted people in a similar state to him, bound, restricted. Looking around seeking to gain more information he spotted a suspicious individual in the background. Gripping the lock Kon began to fiddle with the mechanism, more puzzle in design than a keyhole. Others had the same idea it seemed, Ignoring those, noticing the ground raising them from the island, Kon sprinted to the edge and jumped hoping to touch the ground without breaking a leg.

Requiem
Requiem blinked as she looked at the horror movie shit happening again. This was, without a doubt, the most twisted place she found herself in.

She focused the puzzle in front of her, working it as quickly as she could in hopes to get free before the pillar got too high.

Quickly, quickly, she thought to herself as the pillar rose. Once she finished the puzzle and unlocked her hands, Requiem raced to the edge. She glanced behind her. Ordinarily she would've tried to free the others but in the movies that was a death flag. She jumped off and spread her limbs out to help slow her descent even by a little.

I'm starting to question if my murder cult upbringing was specifically for this moment. I wouldn't be surprised....sadly.

Caius
Caius was just chilling on a stump enjoying some peace and quiet when he blinked and was teleported again. This time his hands were tied and bound down with a chain. He tried with all his strength to rip it off but it was no use. Connecting the chain was a lock with some sort of puzzle on it like a rubik's cube. Since he couldn't break free, he figured he would fiddle around with that to see if he could get the right combination to unlock it. His concentration was broken by the sounds of screaming that sounded like it was below him and all around him. He managed to move his head around to see other people in his camp in the same situation. He couldn't edge over the pillar to see if there was anyone below him but he did see a new face in front of him. It was a man with a mask waving at him from the safety of the island. Caius responded promptly with a middle finger before the man disappeared. The pillar suddenly started to rise up in the air so Caius focused on the puzzle at hand to escape.

Alisa

Once again, she had no clue just how exactly they had ended in this precarious position, and no time to think about anything but how to make her way out of it. She could hear those voices down from below, and though she imagined that could just as easily be a trap, it seemed like a less prelious option than the alternative:

"Tch... Someone's having quite a bit of fun at our expense hmmm?", scoffed the tall woman, taking a deep breath as she fiddled with the lock on her wrist. Judging by the loudness of the voices below, Alisa could tell they weren't yet so high that the fall would kill her.

At the same time, the longer she stayed on top of that pillar, the greater the danger: At this point, she had no way of knowing if or when it would stop rising, and even if it did, whether it would come back down. She knew that if she let it climb too high, her chances of falling down safely would drop to near zero. Indeed, at this point, gravity seemed like a far more predictable, less treacherous foe than whoever was getting his kicks pitting the survivors in this little deathmatch.

Daiko Flayme
Oh, stupid pillars. Who made Daiko faint so easily just to make him wake up on some random pillar among a circle of people. From his position, he had little to no time making up who was with him or if anyone familiar were present as well, for the pillar that he was standing up advanced. And… it took him a solid second to come to his senses, but his wrists were locked together by what looked like a small box connected to some chains. The box could be inspected by his hands, and it had strange markings and mobile layers on it that he could move in certain directions.

Was it the lock to free him? Who was doing this to begin with? And why was he forced to do all of this?!

Steel

Steel was once again doing other things. He was looking through some ruins when time stopped and darkness came to him again. He felt weightless as his body disappeared from where it once was. He then quickly materialized on some weird giant pillar. His hands were stuck chained to the ground. In front of him was a puzzle and the lock to his chains. He understood the situation. He had to solve the puzzle to get free of the chains. But what would he do after that? He would know once he got there he thought. And so Steel started trying to solve the puzzle.

If he were to solve it and get free he would run and jump off the edge of the pillar. Before it got so high that falling meant certain death.

Odin †

Another day came and went, with Odin having picked up an item that he figured could be very useful on the island, with all the different possible enemies that could appear. At the end of the day, he was once more transported to the next event, one where he could better see some of the people he was facing against. There were faces he recognised, and some he didn't, but that wasn't the most important part. He was chained down, but it looked like the mechanism could be unlocked. It made sense that this event required some level of intelligence, and lots of endurance. Odin only hoped he would be able to withstand long enough to get out.

Island Master
Many of the Vultures had managed to undo themselves of their shackles and bravely jump off the pillar. As they jumped, they were teleported back to their base instead of hitting the ground. "It's lonely out in space on such a timeless flight," the Master exclaimed. He was suddenly standing in the middle of the pillar as Kon and Caius tried to undo their shackles. Without paying any attention to them, he stared towards the stars. "And I think it's gonna be a long long time till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home." Caius managed to undo his shackles partly, however, one of his wrists was still attached to the chain causing him to hang off the side of the pillar. Kon wasn't close at all. Oxygen was disappearing. Soon, both of them would meet their demise in space. The Master pulled Caius back up on top of the pillar by pulling the chain in the middle which was attached to his wrists. He would soon be gone but at least he would be able to witness this beauty before disappearing. Caius recognized the person as he crawled back on top of the pillar. "Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone," the Master said as he disappeared from the pillar. Caius got confused as he realized it was the same person standing on the ground before. How did he suddenly manage to get on top of the pillar? None of it mattered anymore. Both Kon and Caius had trouble breathing as the pillar ascended towards their starry death. Soon they would suffocate.
