Turns out charging blindly into a bunch of bloodthirsty monsters was a terrible idea. Go figure. They swarmed the prey, claws slashing and teeth gnashing. Without the hatchet, the ghoulish woman would’ve been dead a dozen times over by now. Yet she stubbornly clung to life through a combination of the weapon and her... erm... robust constitution? Uh, sure, something like that... Anyway... She hacked and chopped her way deeper into the horde. Where sensible people were simply trying to survive, she was driven by a different purpose. Fanatic fervor burned in her veins. Perhaps she was seeking to save as many of these cursed souls as she could. Or maybe she was just trying to throw her life away. ...Well, a bit of both, really.

Blood splattered with every flash of the strobe light. Mary recoiled with a crimson cough. Finally her constitution faltered. Her clothes were severely torn. Countless scratches and open wounds dripped, painting her pale skin. She was in pain... dying... And it felt wonderful. As she teetered on the edge, she somehow summoned more strength behind her blows, mustered more speed to keep dodging. It seemed... unnatural. Like she was some sort of undead monster herself... The purpose still shined clear in her mind. These poor creatures were suffering from a vile curse. Only an honest death would cure them now. Spurred by that unshakeable conviction, she drove her hatched deep into the nearest beast. Again... And again... And yet again. The question remained... Who would be still standing when the dawn finally arrived?

It never seemed to end! Rinni swung at the large bat-like creatures that surrounded herself and Lucian. She knocked one away that tried to grab her friend from behind. She dodged and swung, jumping backward and leaning to the sides and anything else that effectively kept her going. She stayed back to back with Lucian the best she could during this monstrous nightmare.

She had his back, and she trusted him to have hers. She had no reason NOT to trust him. He was her Guildmate, her friend, her protector, her werewolf mentor in every sense. She wasn't about to watch him die here. Not against a bunch of flying monstrosities. As she fought, she spotted Ko in the distance, dealing with troubles of his own.

She tried to call out to him, but alas, she was drowned out by that godforsaken music. She wanted to run to him, to help him. But she couldn't leave Lucian to deal with this alone. So, she grabbed the werewolf's hand and tugged him to follow her as she ran toward her boyfriend.

She was covered in scratches, nothing too bad yet, and was able to hold her own fighting them off well enough. But the sheer number of them surrounding her, and the fact she was holding Lucian's hand to not lose him in this sea of flying death, had slowed her down dramatically. They had to do SOMETHING, anything to get through this!

She had to stay with Lucian... but she also had to protect Ko! But how? Still holding onto her Guildmate, she swung, kicked, and weaved through the horrors in her attempt to reach her lover. She wasn't going to lose Ko! Not here, not now! No fucking way!

As Rinni made her way toward Ko, a bat-creature lunged at her knocking her off her feet. She was forced to release Lucian's hand as she slid across the ground on her back struggling to fight it off. "Get off me!" She screamed to no avail. The fucking blaring music made any attempts of speech impossible. She was pinned and wrestling with the large creature in desperation.

The strobe lights flashed rapidly making her entire scenario feel like she was in a damn horror movie of some kind. She just wanted this nightmare to end, so her, Ko, and Lucian could get together and slice that masked psycho's throat!

Since Nuala’s arrival at the island, the Voidling had long lost track of how many days had passed and how long she’d been there. Kaiser was dead–murdered to death by none other than yours truly–and now the rogue had to fend for herself. She spent the day trying to find some inner peace and search for something useful and luckily she had been somewhat successful. Nuala found a weapon, a Rusty Dagger that would support her in her adventures. It very much reminded her of one of the weapons she used to wield. It was meek and small, but in a skilled hand she was sure it could do proper damage. Just as she was finally asleep, music was blasting, there was a flashing light and before she knew it she was being attacked. Nuala grabbed her weapon and hoped for the best.

It seemed that the camp was being attacked by monstrous, giant bats. Nuala had never seen anything like that before and frankly, she was terrified. The lights were still blinding and the music was ridiculously loud and she felt as though the senses she usually relied on the most–her sight and her hearing–were being disturbed by these factors. Nuala’s best bet at survival was to get out there and fight. With the dagger in hand, the Voidling pounced at the first bat that came at her and attempted to slice it apart. The weapon did a decent job, but the creatures were also awfully sturdy. This would be a rough fight!

Nuala’s nose was picking up on a familiar, iron scent: the scent of blood. It was filling the air around her and she still felt as though everything and everyone was moving in slow motion. The battle was difficult (to say the least) and she felt disoriented. Nuala had a feeling that there were other people around, but the circumstances and the freaking music made teaming up with one another impossible. Nuala’s best bet was to count on herself and fight her way through it. Something told her that the creatures of the night would disappear by daytime, when the sunlight was out – but she didn’t know for sure. It seemed as though there was an endless amount of monsters and no matter how many she killed, they just kept coming. She didn’t even want to think about who was summoning all these beasts and why they were toying with their lives like that. All she could think about right now was survival.

At this point, Ko was so surrounded by bats that he couldn't even see his own surroundings. Part of him was almost irrationally afraid that he would be mysteriously transported again while his senses were obscured. That fear spurred him, and he began tearing at the bat creatures in desperation. His efforts finally began to show fruit, as he finally got a chance to look at his surroundings and get his bearings. Immediately, he saw that Rinni had moved closer, but was now on the ground and under heavy attack. Surging forward, Ko moved to try and close the distance between them and secure a hold on the creature pinning her to the ground.

It was tough going, but Ko managed to move quickly enough that the grasp of the smaller bat creatures were unable to firmly attach. Having closed the distance between himself and Rinni, Ko reached down to grab hold of the bat creature pinning her to the ground. One hand landed on its head, while another gripped it by one of his misshapen wings. He twisted and yanked, trying to break its grip without injuring Rinni any further. The entire time he was spewing obscenities, completely unheard thanks to the continuously blaring music. For a moment, it seemed like the creature's grip was beginning to slacken, and he might succeed...

For whatever reason his strength seemed to be failing him tonight. To make matters worse, as Ko struggled to help Rinni, he continued to be assaulted on all sides. Smaller bats ran circles around him, scratching at his limbs and knuckles, tugging at his joints to try and throw him off-balance. It was a miracle he didn't lose his grip altogether. The only headway he was making was in his quick reactions, taking advantage of every misstep on the creature's part. Still, he ultimately lost his grip in one hand when another bat bit down on the meat of his thumb, spewing blood and making him cry out, unheard in the cacophony.

Alisa had survived three death games so far, yet this time it was different... Tch... Things didn't start off so well now did they? Between the startling surprise attack and her initial effects to regain composure, Alisa started off with quite a fair bit of a struggle, doing what she could do slash away at the bats as they swarmed, dashing away when their numbers grew far too much to ever be manageable, and in the end, she found herself taking quite a bit of damage... Mostly flesh wounds really, but hardly a good omen if this was gonna go on like this all night long. Gritting her teeth, she backed away and raised her sword, ready to meet the next wave head on.
