Mysterious Merchant

"Goodbye, Gabriel," the Mysterious Merchant yelled as his customer disappeared in a flash of light. He wondered what kind of world the Archangel would end up in with that thing. Either a new place would be made or it would bring him to a place his heart yearned for deeply. Didn't matter. He was simply happy that he longer had that item in his possession because it made him a target to two whole realms and a lot of dangerous beings.

As the Mysterious Merchant stored away the items he received in return from Gabriel, he got disturbed by a portal opening in the room. The irregularity in the pitch and vibration indicated that multiple customers were going to be spewed out this time. He quickly zapped away the remainder of the items and turned around to receive them properly.

"Welcome," the Mysterious Merchant cheered. As the Mysterious Merchant gracefully waved his hand from left to right, a whole range of items became visible in the air. They were merely projections of some of the things that he was willing to sell this time around. "If something catches your eye, the description will magically appear next to the item," the Mysterious Merchant playfully exclaimed.

Well... Her leisurly stroll had been rather full of surprises tonight huh? After meeting up with Esperia, she'd also figured out the password to the Mysterious Merchant's shop, enough for an inviting portal to appear before her, making her eyes shoot wide. She stepped forth without hesitation:

"Oh, good evening~", greeted the sculptress, a graceful smile on her face as she took but a moment to look over the cloaked merchant, a modest hint of curiosity in her arched brow as she wondered what manner of being hid underneath that cloak. In the end, she gave it little thought and quickly turned her attention, "Then let's see what you have for me today hm?"

As expected of the mysterious merchant and his one of a kind wares, one could easily find something interesting wherever they looked. Honestly, Alisa could spend hours here just going through the options, wondering what treasures she might find. But she knew the merchant wouldn't be around long enough to allow her such pleasure, before long he'd be packing up his shop and leaving. Fortunately, something caught her attention immediatelt

"Ohoooo~... Now this is very interesting... So you had the other eye all along hm?", Alisa quickly noticed an eye. Even before the description appeared and dubbed it "Dhan-Galhoul's White Eye", she knew fully well what it was and what it did. After all, one of her most powerful guild members had the other eye of this pair. The ability to see all of her surroundings without depending on her visor was something she couldn't really pass up, and so Alisa pointed to the eye and turned to the merchant, fetching a pouch of jewels from her pocket dimension to pay for her purchase, "I'll be taking the left White Eye, if you would~"

“Huh?, What?” The Galaxy Dragon Slayer muttered to himself as he was thrown about from his office into a nondescript room full to the brim with strange relics and artifacts all oozing with magic. It appeared to be a merchant’s warehouse of goods that were odd, or one could even say mysterious?, The owner of the fine establishment with peculiar items, he definitely seemed fond of collecting eyes and vials of blood… Neither of which appealed to Kon, he already had his own special eye and he didn’t know what would happen if he just injected himself with some strange person’s blood. Other relics appeared shortly thereafter after weapons, capes, none of which appealed to him either.

It was only until an innocent looking key took his eye, bound with a simple piece of string into a necklace. It’s appearance wasn’t the thing that truly stuck out to him, rather its name “Tal-Rasha’s Skeleton Key” Pressing his golden index finger at the glass cover, the transparent material immediately shattered into a golden powder. “I’ll be taking this, thank you.” Kon commented to the cloaked tradesman, flinging a bag of jewels the size of his fist at the man, before taking up the enchanted key turning in a dime and opening the door behind him with the key.

As he twisted the knob, a great glowing light irradiated temporarily blinding him, before sending him back to his office unscatched with one hand on the knob and another on the key. “Neat…” He smirked as he slid his new toy into his pocket jacket, he now had a means to facilitate transportation without aid.

WORDS: 350 | Shiver Me Timbers!

Is that…? Looks like one of the ones that Lisa and I have…? Arriving a little late to the sale and only able to bear witness to the departure of the pretty thing who had preceded her, while the attention of Miss Serena should have probably been on the wonderful woman she had come to meet instead she found her eye and her interest snatched away by something which looked rather familiar, and yet she did not have much chance to inspect it properly before the strange stunner disappeared with it.
Shame we couldn't grab another, isn't it? A dash of disappointed because of this fact, though the fair femme knew it might have been greedy to covet yet another item she couldn't help but feel a scant need to do so all the same. After all she and Alisa having collected a few trinkets of the famed wizard since the first time they had run into this odd vendor, it almost felt like finding such things had become a hobby or signature for them, but alas there seemed little she could do for the moment.

“Hmmmmm, what to take…” Instead left perusing a selection of legendary weapons and items which honestly did not seem to jump out to her all that much given how much she had been enjoying her mana blade lately, as usual the coquette was interested more in the curio or something that might spice up her adventures, and as she rolled her gaze over something that might not have ordinarily caught her attention saw an odd potential in one of the slightly macabre items of produce presented to her.
“How about this eye of Ferion, in my right? Should help me enjoy the scenery a little more~” Smirking as the pointed to the gleaming and golden item in a jar that she quietly might have questioned the origin of, though the idea of altering one half of her gorgeous green gaze might have made her feel a bit remiss the sheer scope of options that it provided was truly astounding, and plenty good for making sure she could keep an eye on her beautiful bride no matter how they might have strayed from each other on the battlefield…

Well~ Well~ Riddle me this, to think that she would be send back to the mysterious merchant. When she arrived at the lighthouse within Hargeon Esperia's gaze quickly drifted around the area, making certain where were no sneaky creatures hiding in the area after which she approached the man. Just like before he was peddling his exotic wares, and one in particular took her interest. It was a beautiful cape, seemingly having once belonged to an infamous vampire, but what made the item so interesting was a combination of its gift of being able to perceive when someone was lying to the wearer and the magical power of being able to reattach lost limbs.

To be able to know when someone lied to her AND enhance her vampiric abilities? Of course Esperia was very confident in her choice of what to purchase. "I would like to purchase the Dracula's cape please." Waiting for the merchant to withdraw the cape from his pocket dimension, once Esperia was handed it over she would attach the cape to her attire and made it swoosh lightly.

"Dun dun dun~ Bat girl!" Fortunately nobody was around to see the little jest of the girl, well nobody aside from the merchant who was ready to send her back home!

Aegis

-Do not fret the Night-

"Together, we will test and sear them in the morning light."

The air smelled strongly of saltwater as he took in his surroundings. Aegis found himself near a large lighthouse, with a familiar person standing in front of him. A little perturbed at first, after taking a short breath and gaining his bearings he understood what was going on around him. "Well then, it's good to see you again old friend. It's has been quite some time. Although this time it seems we have found each other, not as much as last time." he said after getting his bearings on where he was. Once again, through some sort of planer experience, landed him in front of the merchant once again. They had a pleasant experience last time so he was hoping this would not be any different.

After the heavily cloaked merchants said his piece, just as before, he eyed over the merchants wares once again. There was quite a few things that prove to be interesting to be sure, but there was one in particular that caught his eye. "This one... Looks interesting. The Medusa eye it says." after looking over it extensively, he nodded towards the man with him. "I would like to take this one if you please. It says to choose an eye, so it will be on my right side if you don't mind."

Ikazuchi
It was a surprising development for Ikazuchi. In a truly mysterious manner he found himself teleported to a new location. He had been in Baska moments prior, but now he was somewhere completely unknown. The scent of the ocean was apparent in the air, but foreign to the young man. It was impossible for him to guess where he may have been teleported to as a result. As for what he saw in front of him, it was an oddly dressed individual happily welcoming the group he had arrived with.

There were five other individuals present, each handling the situation differently. Ikazuchi received a wide variety of information as a result, and felt out of place among the strong or well known people present. His interest was particularly drawn to the person that was apparently his guild master. He ultimately didn't introduce himself, but it was a curious sight. It was possible that Ikazuchi may have come across as rude due to not greeting the strange individual, but he was more concerned with his circumstances at the moment. It was only after observing the others and hearing what the mysterious individual had to say that he understood, even if only slightly. ‘A merchant?’ He smiled slightly as he finally returned a greeting. “Thanks for having me.

He didn’t care to introduce himself as the merchant hadn’t as well. Anything more wouldn’t be required for a business transaction. Ikazuchi was particularly doubtful of the origin that some of the items had when he saw various jars and vials containing blood and eyes. What had caught his eye wasn’t any such things though, instead it was a particular sword. ‘Icarus’ Damocles’ He thought of the sword’s name as he stared at it longer, growing fonder of it by the moment. He couldn't help giving Alisa and Sofia a glance at that moment as he decided to purchase this sword. 'Why does the current Guild Master of Blue Pegasus have to be here?'

He didn’t neglect the information that he could learn by properly viewing the wide variety of items, but he knew that this sword was what he wanted to purchase. He ended up being the last person to make a purchase, so he was able to see how everything unfolded. “I want to purchase Icarus’ Damocles.” There wasn’t any need for extra words as he knew the price. He would pass the merchant a pouch containing the necessary amount of jewels and take his new sword in hand once it was offered to him. “I hope to see you again in the future, Merchant with the funny hat.” The signs of teleportation would already already occurring to usher him out as he spoke these parting words.
