Oh... Look at that. She was actually still in this game huh? The only question was, for how long? Her opponent had a huge lead on her, far too huge to realistically swing back from. But then again she'd been losing like crazy all those rounds in a row, so surely it wasn't impossible, as utterly improbable as it may prove. Thus, she picked her dice once more and cast it, brow raising, watching it roll and wondering if she could actually score four more wins, "Higher.", it was going to break even eventually after all, for all the times she'd lost.

Ah, he was wrong? Guess he shouldn't have had looked at the masked man and just went with it, he seemed to be a pretty straightforward man. Masami glanced at a woman, a quick split-second gaze before reaching for and taking the dice for it to scramble inside Masami's palms. "Higher than fifty," he uttered, he hoped, and for an odd reason, he didn't seem to want to open his hands and let the die go. It felt like a stressful thing to do, since he wasn't sure any longer. What if he's wrong again? Nevertheless, he finally let the die drop.

The Master couldn't hold his excitement in any longer. The finals were producing the most perfect conditions for his goals. It could have been accomplished if one of them managed to win it in the first round, but he couldn't have imagined the two of them pushing it to a third round of the finals. It could be compared to creating something with mediocre resources versus resources of a higher quality. Thus, for the first time ever, the Master started to laugh out loud while slamming his hand down on the table.

"Magnificent!"

The Master then spread his arms out and moved the two participants far away from each other and the table. Next, he quickly clapped his hands twice and made the table between them all disappear. It was time to start the last round of the finals. Both Survivors were now sitting in their chairs as it hovered high above the volcano's pit. The Master rubbed his chin with his right hand and then lifted his index-finger up next to his head to indicate that he had come up with the next game. Not towards the volcano, nor on top of the volcano, but underneath the volcano this time. He snapped his fingers and teleported both Survivors to the maze located underneath it.

The Master then casually stood up from his seat as it dematerialized underneath him and disappeared. With a smirk on his face hidden behind his white mask, he ominously hovered above the volcano for a brief moment before disappearing as well.

Rolls:

1 - 20 ~ It seems that you are progressing properly through the maze. At this pace, you will reach the exit eventually. (1 Point)
21 - 40 ~ It is truly amazing how fast you are rushing through the maze. Keep it up and the exit will be in your sight soon. (2 Points)
41 - 50 ~ Left, right, left, you keep moving in the right direction. And quickly as well. Don't run into the minotaur. (3 Points)
51 - 70 ~ You got lost in the maze. It happens. (0 Points)
71 - 80 ~ You took a wrong turn leading to a dead end. Luckily, it won't take much time to find your way back to where you were before. (-1 Point)
81 - 90 ~ Something went terribly wrong and you got incredibly lost in the maze. It is going to take some time before you find your way back. (-2 Points)
91 - 95 ~ You have stumbled upon the minotaur and must flee to safety. (-3 Points)
95 - 100 ~ It is almost as if you can sense the exit. With haste, you move through the maze and make your way towards victory. (4 Points)

Game: In each post, you must roleplay moving through the maze with the minotaur underneath the volcano. The goal is to reach 10 points. It is not possible to get a total lower than 0. Keep track of your progress in your posts underneath your roleplay message.

Details: Each roll must be done in a separate post based on each phase of the game. There is no specific timer, however, 24 hours is a guideline per phase. This means that it would be great if both participants completed one of the nine parts per day and not 24 hours after each other. Extra time is taken into the calculation as penalty points for the Survivor. Do note that the post must clearly describe the events taking place during that phase. You can also die by describing the wrong events in your post.

Immediately after that roll, Masami's attention diverted to the masked man who had suddenly laughed out loud. Masami found this uneasy—suddenly, he found himself in a maze, without even given enough time to react for the win. Guess it wasn't the "final" finale, after all? They were warned of the Minotaur, as well, so guess that's another warning. "Good luck," muttered Masami to the woman before lowering his head, deciding on going first, wherever fate (that isn't inside a dice) decides, he'd guess. Masami, not only he'd have to use luck, but also logic this time... in the end, it's still a dice game, no?

Well, that didn't go so well... But that's alright. They had one more round left to go. Alisa clicked her tongue as her opponent finally rolled the winning die. Before she could process what the Island Master was even laughing about, the man snapped his fingers and the two got pulled apart. Alisa could barely get one last look at the boy she'd been facing all this time, before she could finally turn her head left and right to examine her surroundings, "You too~"

They hadn't gone too far from the volcano indeed, she could still feel that sweltering heat from the molten rock bubbling all around them. A maze huh...? Her smile widened just a little bit, feeling better about her odds now that she had some of her wits to rely on other than simple luck...

Ack, dead end, but that's alright... not. Masami knew that he's no good at these maze stuff, why can't he be allowed to climb and walk on top of the hedges instead? Is it because of the Minotaur? Nevertheless, he went back the opposite path, and now he's back to where he stood before, even if it wasn't so familiar? Masami relied on instincts with all these navigation stuff, he had always left the house to go on different places, so why is this supposed to be so hard? Masami wasn't feeling so confident anymore. Oh well, time to move to the other end.

Alisa was off to a good start, as if trusting some instinct she never knew she had, quickly picking out which turns she felt would most likely lead into a dead end and steering clear of those, slowly but surely finding her way through the maze, Just like this~...", a smile drew on her lips as she luckily got off on the right foot at least.

And so far, she couldn't even hear and grunts of rabid beasts huffing behind her, ready to ram her into oblivion. Hopefully it would stay that way, but for now, Alisa stood faithful to her first winning recipe.

Where the hell is he, exactly? Masami couldn't see the woman anymore, nor the said Minotaur, but there's no doubt that the masked man is bluffing and that the Minotaur didn't exist – it's definitely here. Masami continued to walk... forward? Left? Right? Wherever his heart led to, as he utterly didn't know where he is, or where he 'was' and where he was going for. Just a few more same steps, then he'd reach the exit eventually... right? The temperature here was still the same as it was before, should the exit be in the hottest area, or the coolest?

Tch... Her luck really didn't last long did it...? Just one wrong turn, that was all it took, and the worst part was, she had no idea where it actually happened. Before she knew it though, Alisa started recognizing parts of the maze she'd already passed through a while back and clicked her tongue:

"Somehow I found way to go around in circles inside a labyrinth hmm...?", this might take a while. Alisa took a deep breath, not having any clue how well or how poorly her opponent had been doing in his own endeavors to escape this place.

Was he getting closer...? Masami continued to mindlessly walk around the maze, not even getting a slightest hint on where he is, nor does he know if he is walking through a path that he had already walked on a while ago. There isn't anything that would help him navigate, nor anything that would mark the paths he had already been on, thus he followed his instincts instead, hoping he'd not walk upon the said Minotaur and, of course, survive in the end. He doesn't know what the Minotaur looks like as well, and how many there are in the maze. Why did it have to be this way?

Ah... She was finally starting to find her way again. Little by little Alisa grew able to recognize certain twists and turns, realize where she'd already been before and steering clear from those paths she knew would lead nowhere. As much as possible, she tried turning to the same side, a common strategy to find one's way out of a maze, well, assuming she didn't run into any pesky minotaurs or anything of the sort. It wasn't a fast way, not by any stretch but... It was certainly a way she could use to get out of her, assuming she managed to hit the goal first. If she didn't well... There wasn't much she could do about that, not knowing here her opponent was.

It doesn't feel like he's going anywhere. Masami had to stop for a moment to breathe, but if he stayed on the same spot for too long, the Minotaur might find him. Masami came to a halt to think for himself, too: maybe it's better to go on every right direction, instead of mindlessly walking into limbo? He wouldn't wanna be stuck in here forever, neither does he want things to move too fast. It also doesn't seem like the night exists, so he should have enough time before things start to get harder to see. Masami continued to walk again – yeah, every right corners first.

So much for making progress. Well, at least she didn't get impossibly lost like she did last time, so it was only a matter of time until she'd hopefully start to find her way again. Alisa looked left and right, brushing her hair behind her ear. No sign of that pesky minotaur either, so she at least had that going for her. Taking a long, deep breath, she fanned herself ever so slifhtly as a bead of sweat trickled down her face, looking for any turns or paths she could even remotely recognize, but to no avail. Everything looked the same down here.
