Concord snoozed in the warm sunlight covering his reptilian skin in heat. Nessie sat beside him, continuing to examine Raquin's notes. She has aquianted with another hunter, but of a different kind. She couldn't quite explain. Ludwig never told her what kind of hunter he was. The redhead continued to think about the job that rested on her shoulder as her family's only successor. Her grandfather deemed her one of a kind, but was only a face to her. Nessie took more the family role as of recently. She hated how her family only thought of her as a tool, a weapon. Nothing more, but she didn't like how something just wiped them out like yesterday's trash.
Whatever that creature was, nothing dared say its name or even speak of it. It was all "hush hush". Ludwig was too freaked out to answer her. Nessie could only explain that it was a "creature of hate". Nessie? Do you think that creature that killed my parents and village is some spirit?" Nessie's warm eyes turned ice cold in a flash. Quickly, she closed the book with a loud noise and placed it in her lap. "I wish I could answer that, child. Though, even a being as old as me has no answer. No one can explain. I don't even know the name, but I know of the description by what you have explained to me the other day. I have only seen it once back in the old lands. It was white as the snow and cold as the country of Iceberg. It was only for a split second before it was gone" she explained. Raquin huffed in frustration. Her boots clopped on the metal floor beneath them, giving an echo to anyone below. "That's more than anyone has ever dared to give me. Thanks, Nessie. What would I do without you? Oh, have you heard of a type of hunter called a witcher?" she asked.
Nessie placed the book back into it's slot and closed the messanger bag. She had to think about this for a while, but came with an answer eventually. "A witcher is a type of hunter that is rare. They know just as must as your family, but don't associate to any affinite that I know of. I do know some of them have mutations much like you. Unlike a witcher, you're classified as a Conservation Hunter due to your lack in strength and having an affinity with the hunter's association or your family at the very least. I don't even know if your are
registered so you could qualify for a witcher, but personally, you're really not." Raquin was only asking for a definition not a classification. "I was more asking for a definition rather than a classification of what I am. I am just a simple hunter that protects rare creatures" she added. Concord yawned and got up hearing noises beneath him.
