Mikajia wasn’t one to be too picky about the types of jobs he took. Even when he wasn’t struggling, he was never all that particular, money was money after all, and years of dealing with the criminal underbelly had all but completely numbed him to things many others would get squeamish or sick over. He had a goal however, and he wouldn’t let a little blood or death keep him from reaching that goal. So, it was with nothing more than a simple blink and nod of his head that he accepted this next task from one of his contacts. Word had made it around town that there had been a squabble between two criminal families in town; the squabble eventually developing into a fight to the death as is only expected, and now came the clean-up duty of course.

It didn’t take him long to find the location described, soon encountering a very well-dressed man. Introductions were short which Mikajia was fine with, he wasn’t there to make friends, he was there to do a job and the man, Remy Martello, couldn’t have been happier. According to him, the faster the job was completed, the better. They needed to make sure that their tracks were covered to help keep officials off of their trail. He also figured the man wanted to have plenty of time to set up the scene so as to place the blame that was sure to follow firmly on their enemies. Regardless of the reason, Mikajia couldn’t care less. He would have just as easily helped the opposing family had their request reached him first.

He led Mikajia to a nearby building that was currently under construction, the location of the deal-gone-wrong, turned massacre. Shortly after entering the building he saw the bodies, ten total by his count. Another moment later Remy had pulled out some large heavy-duty trash bags and an axe.

‘Well, I guess that answers my question of how he planned on getting rid of the bodies.’ Mikajia thought, though he would have honestly just burned the bodies to ash, much easier clean up. But it wasn’t up to him, he was simply here to help with the process. Shortly after that he was running around grabbing and dragging bodies to Remy so he could chop and bag them. However, during the process he was stopped by the man and told that the current body he was dragging, as well as two others he pointed out were not to be butchered. They were members of the Martello family, and were apparently supposed to be treated with more respect, and buried properly.

Those three bodies were to be taken out the back door to be picked up by one of the other members of the family and taken away for a proper burial. With little more than a simple nod, he carried the three bodies out the back door and set them up for retrieval. With no other complications the rest of the process went smoothly; the bodies butchered and compacted in the large bag being carried out the door by Remy.

With the job now completed, the man turned to Mikajia, thanked him for the help and handed over the payment. He accepted the payment with a nod, turned and left, making his way back to his place to get cleaned up.
